Yeah that whole are is saturated by those little places and the Vikingo is a place located by my granmother's house near the Capwell Stadium I have been there twice but a shitier bar and strip club you will not find in Guayaquil the girls are so classy I saw a local throw .10 cents to the stage and she actually got down and picked it up very ugly looking women I do not recommen it.

I asked a delivery from this agency, number 2, and it has been by far my worst experience with a service provider.
Agreed price was US$90 + taxi, so in fact US$ 100 for 1.5hrs, multiple fucks. I got emails from the agency confirming this if you want to see them.
The girl showed on time. She was from Guayaquil not quite good shaped as on the picture (Bait & Switch?) but, being the hotheaded I am, I went for it.
Small chit chat, and she asked for the money upfront. I agreed and paid.
She got into the shower for about 5 minutes, and came out naked.

I guess this is why in South America, Peruanas, Colombianas, Argentinas and Brazilians are the gems of the sex business. They have made peace with themselves of what they do, so they make an effort to provide a good service, whereas in this case, the girl believes she is bigger than being a puta (newsflash, she is not!) and just want to get the money and run.
Moral of the story:
1. Avoid this agency like plague.
2. Before handing cash to the girl, make sure with HER you are getting what you have agreed over the phone. If not kick her ass out of the room.
3. Whenever possible, pay after the show is over.
On a good side of the story, the hotel I stayed was a good call. US$50 bucks, located close to the San Marino Shopping mall and girl friendly for US$10 cover. PM me if you want the name.

I went to Guayaquil´s famous Calle 18, or¨La 18.¨ This is a block where every house is a *****house. It´s a pedestrian-only street. A few girls stand in front of each house in string bikinis and if you want one just grab her and take her to her room in back. The quality varies, but there are some gems.

I can personally recommend the Hotel Libertador on the Parque Centenario, but it might be not be nice enough for you. It's $10 per night, some rooms have A/C and a park view, and it's extremely chica friendly. The rooms have a TV with 3 channels and no hot water. There aren´t too many overnight guests, as it´s mainly used as an hourly love motel. By the way, 3 hrs. here will cost $6. Some of the young boys who work here aren´t real outgoing, but look for Luscio. He sent a few girls to my room.
Don't stay at the Hotel Centenario, 2 blocks down from the Hotel Libertador on the same side of the Parque Centenario. The rooms are $12 per night. The owner who stays there most of the day won't let chicas in with you but the night watchman who comes on after 11 pm will let them go up to your room.
Within a few blocks of the parque centenario, there are a dozen clubs. Some are bad strip clubs, some bars where you can take out a chica, and some are simple discotecas. You won´t figure out what type of club each one is until you go in. I took a girlfriend to a few of these clubs and we both agreed that the chicas appeared to have been shipped in from the country- not too many hotties.
Doombringer is right about El Vikingo, a strip club near the stadium. It sucked. $2 beers, no service on site, ugly chicas, and there is rarely a chica stripping.

First off, I visited 2 clubs in Duran multiple times. Duran is across the river from the city center- about a $3 taxi ride during the day or $5 at night.
Imperio is a chongo in the true sense of the word, in that there are girls who stand by their tiny rooms and wait for a guy to pay $7 to fuck them. There were about 100 guys and only 8-9 girls working- they never stayed available for very long. All the girls wear tiny string bikinis. They were all in the 7-9 range. In my humble opinion, Guayaquil is not as dangerous as some previous posters haver described it. I speak fluent Spanish but I am obviously American by my size and skin tone. I went to all the aforementioned clubs and to la calle 18 by myself multiple times- no problems. I walked around downtown at all hours and didn't worry the least bit. Some homes had their doors wide open at midnight. There is a police presence here but it isn't menacing like it can be in Colombia. In fact, the city center here feels much safer than in Medellin, bogotá, and lima.
Talk to anyone who has lived in Guayaquil for a long time, and they exclaim at how dangerous the downtown used to be compared to what it is today. This city has really cleaned itself up remarkably within the last decade, or so I'm told.

Calle 18 (oficially named Salinas St.) is located in the southwestern part of the city (the "Suburbio"). A taxi will cost you 3 dollars from downtown (you also can get it for less).
As far as it concerns, you should be aware of your surroundings when you go there. If you look gringo, you will stand out.

As I hinted a couple weeks ago, I arrived in Guayaquil late Wednesday night for 48 hours of unfettered relaxation. Prior to the flight, I read every post since the forum changeover in 2003, all 67 pages. I highlighted names and, where available, addresses and landmarks. My only impediment was that I didn’t look at a map until after I arrived, so gaining a bird’s eye view was difficult. Once I had the elements together, I reviewed my highlighted material and transferred coded coordinates to the map. The process was a bit challenging as many locations are described by proximity to landmarks and barrios rather than streets. And, there is the issue of numbered streets that go by their given names on maps.
Anyway, my complicit wingman agreed to have a look at “La Diez y Ocho” around midday. I tried to follow along the taxi ride, but street names changed and turns were made to facilitate traffic flow faster than I could move my finger. Presently, I decided it really didn’t matter, because there is no reason to be in the southwestern part of town other than for the one, godforsaken street…
Other descriptions of Calle 18 have been quite good. I’ll only elaborate on points unclear to me prior to my arrival. First, the area is quite small. You can only enter from the cross street (Brasil), which is chained off in the day. If you turn right onto 18 (Salinas), the street, enclosed on 3 sides, extends no more than 40 yards. There is enough room for 3 bars on each side of the street. Turning around the opposite direction, the distance is roughly double, maybe closer to 100 yards. Again, each side of the street features indoor/outdoor bars. Most have girls working from inside or behind the facades that give way to rather large courtyards containing series of small rooms. Some quarters are tighter and a couple of places have no drinking facilities but have porches behind jail-like bars separating girls from the street.
I agree with the perception that the area is fairly safe. There was a police presence as noted, but the main reason I think it is safe is because the street is not a tourist retreat. It would be a high-risk, low reward venue for most criminals. There is little space to work with, the streets aren’t that crowded, and I would venture a guess that, not only were we the only gringos there, we were the only first-time visitors. I’m not saying something tragic couldn’t or wouldn’t happen, but I think some may overstate the daytime concerns here.
So, we settled on a bar near the end of the long street. They were running a special for 3 600ml Brahmas for $2. Apparently, the promotion doesn’t apply to Americans as we were given 2 beers for $2. For the 2nd round, we switched to Pilsner, which I think is much better. There were street vendors and a couple of beggars. The street wasn’t particularly dirty, but there was a sewage issue near the intersection that served as a mood killer in that area—unfortunate because some of the best looking girls populated that particular establishment.
Speaking of the girls, I counted around 100 in total. It could be 90 or as high as 125. Of those, we agreed that around 8 were quite attractive (pretty face, white teeth, proportional body, 18-24 years). Perhaps another 15 were “okay.” The others simply took up space. 3 of the 5 best looking ones resided behind the jail bars on the far side of the long street (to the right of a bar/ *****house called “1,000 Lovers”—funny, I translated it for my friend, but now I can’t remember the terminology). Sure enough, she was still there and, while not as hot as the “uptown girls” on the other side of the intersection, she was attractive enough. She was fairly dark-skinned, short, early 20’s, and had a cutsie/warm smile. I asked her if she had a few minutes. We sat down and chit-chatted over a beer and a porn movie. There were posters on EVERY establishment warning girls not to accept more money for sex without a condom. “Tu vida no tiene un precio.” So, I was somewhat sheepish asking for a BBBJ sitting directly under the public admonishment for such behavior. After a taxi ride in a 1977 Datsan to Malecon where we snacked, walked and watched trees floating down the waterway that makes the Mississippi seem like a divers' paradise, we went back to the Hilton Colon to recharge.
Dinner was across the intersection from Amadeus on Rio at Caracol Azul, or Blue Snail. The head waiter was a character, having been born in Miami, then becoming a Mormon. He’s practiced his religion for 30 years, but, by his admission he "smokes,.. and drinks, forgive me Joseph… and, oh, yeah, does some different women from time to time…" The service was better than the food, the excellent shrimp ceviche not withstanding. We did meet up with two colleagues of sorts, and they joined us at Amadeus Boat.

I still haven’t decided how I feel about this place. $10 cover includes a drink, then subsequent drinks $5 for you or the chicas. The décor is old and dilapidated, the stage seating good but, if not on the stage, there are no seats where you can even see it. Chairs were uncomfortable. Service was good. There were about 13 girls, all local. Several were quite attractive, several were non-contenders and the middle 6 were just okay. Dances last forever, perhaps 15 minutes per performer. Of that, they typically spent 10 minutes clothed in bright lights, 4 minutes topless and under a minute naked in very dark conditions. Apparently, the owner is a New Yorker and it would seem that he has schooled the girls a little too well in the American stripper upsale process.

Around 2:30, I convinced my 3 partners to try Habana Club. For $5 the big fat thieving cab driver with a mustache and beard drove us there. It seemed to be on the other side of Centennial Park and a little toward the water. When we arrived, there were several police cars and what looked to be an immigration paddy wagon. My friends whimped-out, and we went home. While I accused them of worrying about getting their dresses dirty, it was obvious that we would have been the only gringos there and the crowd seemed a little agitated. Still, I wanted to see the inside, at least. The fat, disgusting thieving cab driver who works in front of Amadeus charged us $15 (we agreed on $5 to Habana, but forgot to renegotiate for the ride to the hotel, so he took advantage).
My overall impression of the 2 days is that GYE is nowhere near as bad as Surfer and a couple of others report. I found it much more civilized that Mexico City or Mumbai, and safer than San Jose, CR or even Panama City. Again, some of that may be attributed to lack of tourists. On the other hand, I didn’t find the people to be nearly as friendly as the Brazilians or Peruvians, and only on par with the stand-offish Chileans. I'll be back with some frequency and look forward to opinion evolution.
I’m hoping Doom is available next time so we can ferret out a few new places to report on. In the mean time, I’m off to Rio.
