Bunny, good to see you back alive and kicking on the Forum! As far as the dates, it is looking like July 11 to the 13th is the weekend of pump! That would be Friday thru Saturday. As far as who is attending, it looks like Local (thanks for the call today!, but where did you get my tel#, I didn't send it to you yet??),and NoC, are DEFINITELY in for now, and it looks like connect will be here, and of course myself. Add you to the group, and it looks like we will be a total of 5 of us. Boy! we sure could get some serious partying done!!!! Calling out to stockbroker, hedonist, yaks (what happened to you?)and all of you other Istanbul regulars, join up and lets make a weekend of it.

Just shortly, I finally made it into Europa late Sat nite (business and all), still rocking, still full of decent babes, and picked up a fine Moldovian hottie, it still $100 all nite (1AM to 11 AM Sunday) plus about TL 50 mill for drinks and tips.

All systems are go. Boarding the THY flight on Friday night to arrive in Istanbul on Saturday early morning. I have even arranged the hotel shuttle to pick me up at the airport. Will call you once I get to the hotel on Saturday.
For the planning of mongering weekend in July, I will be back to Istanbul on the 11th of July and moving on to Ankara on the 12th.
PS The Holiday Inn further dropped their price to USD 46/night after I confirmed my booking at USD 51/night. Should have waited a few more days. Shite!

And if the prices are what you all are saying, then I might stay at the INN that weekend.

Sorry for the delay in the FR but did not have the proper time to come up with a proper report. I arrived in Istanbul at about 7 am last Saturday and caught the hotel shuttle from International Arrivals Hall Gate B direct to the hotel. The shuttle bus leaves the airport every half hour with one-hour intervals. The service is free and very convenient. The Holiday Inn is about 10 min drive away and the weather was beautiful.
Although it wasn't even 8 am when I arrived at the hotel, they checked me in and gave me a room. The hotel is not a high rise and right next door to the Atakoy marina. Although it is a bit run down and old, the rooms are OK. However, one thing to note is the price quoted on the web site is excluding VAT and after all taxes etc it adds up to USD 60/night. I don't think the hotel is 5 stars but not bad either.
After the essential 3S session, I went to have breakfast at Galleria and change my money. I advise you guys going to Istanbul to change at Aksaray or Laleli as I got a low exchange rate and could have had a better deal at Aksaray. After the breakfast I spent some time in Taksim and the old quarters of the town having my lunch at the Cicek pasaji. I tried to get in touch with Cossack but at first he was tied up with work, then had a business lunch and later was not reachable due to flat batteries. Shame really! At that stage I was under the impression that Bunnyhopper and Local Expert was also going to be in town. So I visited internet cafes trying to get in touch with them. At about 4 pm, I understood that I was going to be on my own and decided to make the most of it.
I took a cab to Aksaray and found the restaurant I hooked up with my Moldovian last time I was in Istanbul after Christmas. The pedestrian street is behind Irmak beerhouse/restaurant on the main street heading to the coast Yenikoy. There are 8-10 restaurants next to each other and you can see the girls sitting outside. I went in one and after having ordered a drink, realized that the girls sitting outside were actually serving the customers next door. Damn! After finishing my drink (can't get a perfectly good drink to waste, can you?) and paying up, I moved next door and assessing the talent made eye contact with another Moldovian. I bought her a drink and made chit chat for a few minutes.
She was apparently not working that day and dropped in for a few minutes to see her friends. Anyway, she did not turn me down and agreed to come down to the hotel for 2 hours for USD 50. We took a cab and had no hassles at the hotel. But I guess getting a girl who dresses casually and not flashy would be useful.
In the room we chatted for quite a while and ate the fruits she had bought to take home.
In bed, her service was almost a perfect GFE. She was really into it and enjoying herself. Needless to say that I enjoyed myself very much as well. I got her phone number to call back at night.
At about 8, we took a cab and I dropped her home and I went on to my dinner engagement. I hooked up with friends and had a perfect fish dinner on the bosphorous. By the time I was finished it was already 1 am and Valentina's phone was turned off.
I took a cab to go to Aksaray to check out Serenda and Europa. First port of call was Europa. Both of these joints are practically walking distance to each other but I chose taking cabs as I did not want to take my chances in the back streets walking. Anyway Europa is a nice little club. There were about 25-30 guys sitting around the joint with about 10-12 male waiters and 2-3 Russian looking waitresses. The level of service is bloody annoying to say the least. Every time a waiter walks by asks you a question or two and then gives you a napkin or rearranges the table. They bring you fruit plates without ordering and you have to be careful watching the bill. There were 4 or 5 Russian looking girls. None was beautiful and all were oversized. The place is poorly lit with red lights on purpose and if you are drunk you could end up with a dragon. I am not sure if it was a typical night but I would not go back there myself. The bill was about 20 mil for nothing. Very poor girl/monger ratio with low quality stock and annoying service.
After Europa, I went to Serenda. Contrary to Europa, Serenda was packed. It was an uphill struggle to find a seat. Cover charge is 20 mil, which includes first drink. I sat at the same table with some Arabs. The modus operandi is to watch the dance floor and go up there to make contact. Girls are a bit better quality here with a range between 4's to 7's or 8's depending on your taste and how much you have drunk!. I talked to 3 girls. They were all Russians and asking price was USD 100 for the night. However, all action takes place at the hotel upstairs. None was even willing to consider coming to my hotel. I guess if you were a regular, things may be different. I decided to head of to my usual restaurant scene after having realized I wasn't going to get anything unless I rented another room upstairs which I wasn't willing to do. I took another taxi but found out the places were all closing. It was 3 am by this time. I wanted to check Bacardi but the taxi driver said it was way too expensive and not really worth it. He also warned strictly against the pimps who approach you on the streets. Apparently, violence, mugging, spiked drinks and inflated bills are the SOP for these crooks. Beware!
I ended up in my room alone and after a few hours of sleep headed off to the airport to catch my flight to UK. I will be back next weekend and want to stay longer meeting up with LE, Bunny and Cossack. Local expertise and guidance may the key to a more successful trip to Istanbul.
Overall, I did enjoy spending the day and wish I could have hooked up with Valentina after my dinner.
As for next weekend, I will be in Istanbul on Friday 11th of July and will be leaving on Saturday the next day heading off to Ankara. I am all booked up and ready to rock'n roll. This time I hope we can all meet up. I will be at the Holiday Inn lobby at 8 pm for sure but maybe in earlier than that. I will confirm on Wednesday by private email.

Although I have never been to Europa, I can picture your expirience very well. Also it has been quite a while that I have been to Serenda, so I hope my last expirience won't be spoiled by the current status quo.......

I believe Cossack, as the sole real "local expert" for Istanbul, will be able to show us the "up-to-date" action.

We have to cancel our Ankara meeting, since I will be in Istanbul all weekend.
