That looks like a good massage. I'm not likely to ever use that transit hotel in between flights, but it's nice to know there are services there at the aiport if I can't get a taxi home due to rain and decide to wait it out in leisure.

I would say that Bulai's report is one of distinction. Who would have thought the airport hotel held so much possibility.

Well, I had another fruitful trip to Jakarta, even though the weather was a bit, er, interesting.

JAD and Menteng showed me a lot of new places, and were always helpful with advice. We took a couple of sidetrips to Bandung and Bogor that were a lot of fun, though it seems that Menteng stole my pretty massage lady in Bandung, and stuck me with the ugly one. :) Nevermind that I was on massage list before him. I got even with him by getting into biz class going to Singapore while he had to sit one row back. Lion Air has some cute flight attendants!

While I didn't have any great mongering experiences in Bandung or Bogor, there are a lot of good opportunities outside of Jakarta. JAD really knows all the places in Jakarta to go to, if you've never been to Jakarta, I really recommend taking his tour.

Arrived Jakarta on Wednesday, excited to check out a new place.
Once checked in at Le Meridien, connected to the in-room broadband and logged into ISG. To my great surprise found that the Le Meridien bar was one of the hotspots so decided to stay there for the first of 2 nights.
Bar name is too difficult for me to remmber, but it has been mentioned here many times - somthing like Teru Mengu or something.

Anyway, once in at 22.30 the place was not very full. A Canadien band was rocking hard and giving a good atmosphere though. Strange place, only a big stage in the middle for the band, with a bar around, and no real place to dance. Asked one of the staff it they expected a full house, and he said no...but there would be a fashion show at midnite. That probably meant more regular girls I figured so not sure how it would turn out.
At midnight the crowd was at its biggest, I think about half of the girls were working, and most were less than 7-8's in looks. But I did see one or two real stunners - but they were taken before I noticed them...so I remained quite calm in my chair. Had eyed a cute girl earlier on, and exchanged some looks with her, but she was also with a guy, so did not want to interfere... She was with there with another girl too, and soon the other girl is next to me saying that her friend likes me, but she is "in the partner business - ok?" and asks for my phone number. Partner business sounded like the only business to me, and I gave the number, curious to see what would happen.
The fashion show was dull, and as the nite faded I figured that I would not get laid this night. There were girls available, but I am picky - so none that tempted. Suddenly I see that the girl I had been looking at was free though and at the same time I receive a message from her, so I head over to say hi. She said she liked me, I said I liked her. We talk a bit, dance a bit, then it is soon closing time so I say I am heading to my room. She and her friend leaves with me. No offers yet though, so I am a bit puzzled... In the lobby I ask straight out if she would like to come to my room, and now I am slightly surprised that they both agree to come, and still no mention of any prize. In the room I am not quite sure what to do, so offer some drinks, they only take water - then after some chit chat, her friend wants to go home - any my girl asks if it is ok if we take her home, and then we can come back to my room. I am still very puzzled, but now genuinly curious to see what will happen so I agree. 10 minutes in cab each way and we are back at the room.
My girl tells about her job, how she had been out with clients tonight (which I still thought of as some other kind of clients:)) that she has a boyfriend and this is the first time she does this, so she doesn't really know what to do. I take a shower and jump to bed, she is trotting back and forth on the floor not knowing what to do - so I insist she showers and comes to bed.

Turns out she is just a "normal" girl! And from a pretty rich family it seems, cause next day when I went to some meetings, she stayed in the room, called in sick at her work and had her driver deliver clothes from home! :D During the night she explains that she was unsure about me, but since I did not talk to any "bad girls" she figured I was ok - I had even rejected a couple that had approached me - little did she know that I was just being picky :D Sorry I have wasted your time guys, but I had to share this with someone :) She stays with me for the next nite too and even insists on paying for some of the stuff we do together.
I think I luuv Jakarta! :)
Well - the bastard I am, I still look forward to do some more hunting in Jakarta next time though. FFF - find, fuck and forget. But this one will be good to have as backup.

One thing about the bar though - the working girls were not pushy, so if you see one you like you definitely should make the move yourself. Not like Singapore or KL or Hong Kong, where the girls more or less swarm you if you as much as look at them.

Liondale, Tigah Palu is now offlimits for further hunting. If she happens to be in there unbeknown to you, she WILL spot you in action, and that will be the end of that.

Don't know if Maribaya was raided on Thursday evening, but I do know that it was open for business as usual this afternoon (Friday). I stopped by for a good session with Vicki, followed by a quick chat with Monique in the bar, and everything seemed normal. There were only about 15 girls on duty, but that could have been because it was raining.

Did see two distinguished-looking white bules with grey hair (in their 50's?) in the bar, each (separately) having a drink with one of the girls working there - would either of them have been ISG members?

It's exactly one year ago this month that the Maribaya Spa 6th Floor was busted during the evening shift and shut down for a few weeks - perhaps the police came back for an anniversary visit? I've just sent an sms to Vicki (day shift) and one girl who works there during the evening shift, asking them of any possible raid - if they reply with anything of interest, I'll post it here.

She indicated the place is still open but some of the girls might be staying away. The place has never recovered from the previous raids from last year when it was closed for several weeks. Someone must not be paying the right people.

Right right! I'm very keen to know the truth about this because my long-time "regular girl" in JKT called me to complain about being busted. I now suspect her of lying to try and induce me to send her money as a compensation for lost business or bribes paid to the cops.

If she lied to me, I know I must forget about her. These girls can never be trusted.

Probably a good advice Brandon, think it will inevitably be a problem though. The next day we stayed in, but her friend called and invited us to CJ's - so seems they are frequenting all the good hunting grounds. My conclusion is that I will not have one girl standing between me and a million other girls :)
