If you pay in advance with some nationalities you are asking for trouble.. As NG know, my flavour is pinay and never had any issues.

Friends with difficult lady friends can be in a bind in AD as it is not keen on Duabi's excesses...well open excesses and the police are a tad more difficult IMHO.

As NG also says he is normaly with PRC and they tend not to cause bother..so stick with Pinay or PRC...avoid CIS like the plague IMHO..all the incidences my fellow mates and mongers have been involved with have been with CIS....many years ago EU Contractor's room at the Marriott in Dubai was nearly trashed by an very drunk and angry CIS...who next rang him and invited him to dinner, very bizarre. Fortunately the hotel security took care of it and he took care them with a generous tip

I was on duty at Adnec the last week there was plenty of night left after the obligatory meals. On the first night I found that I had a massive problem, I had been booked in Le Meridien, situated in the heart of Tourist Club but with an absolute ban on take-ways in the room and a layout of stairs and elevators that would have given a problem in a fire. All leading to the same point. I visited the in house club, G Club and found some standard, small PRC but my heart was in Blitz. So, on this first night, after the meal, drinks before, during and after, then G Club, I was in a bad state at Blitz. I was taken kindly in hand by a taller than average PRC, name totally gone, and then back to Le Meridien for 500 LT, or so I thought. Arguments at the desk, with security, offers of cash had no affect. She had no room that could be used so it was a sad farewell to both her and 100 for the taxi and her trouble.

The next night was Blitz again and PRC again but at least I knew to ask the question about accommodation. Again though, too much alcohol during the evening left me with a rather short LT in a pokey but quiet room somewhere around 7dh away form the Tourist Club roundabout.

The remaining nights revolved around 49'nrs Capital, Ally Pally and Blitz, but no one prepared provide a room until the penultimate night when I met an old flame from a couple of weeks before who followed me from Ally Pally to Blitz, I felt touched. Again because of the beer, 500 plus 100 for the room got me a comatose session despite the trojan attentions of Fenni.

Perhaps next time I shall only take the mongering fee in pocket so there is no temptation at the bar. I really do have great appreciation for these PRCs laying next to a semi-conscious loawei, honestly counting out the money for the night.

Dear Johnsue and Friends.

My advice; as a best practice. Always maintain a low profile and always avoid making scenes or noise. For your sake and not for the girl's sake.

Of course, this does not mean to allow the girl taking advantage of you.

Experiences are different based on different situations that you may not be able to copy and paste.

Here are my recommendations

- Have a chat with the girl upfront in order to setup the expectations right from the start

- But if there is a huge gap between her "asking" price and your "willing to pay" price, then you are on the wrong foot and you are better off with someone else.

- Of course, you can negotiate but when negotiating too much and too aggressively, this becomes a turn off for the girl, a turn off for you and is not a good start for both.

- When accepting the price, and if you have something in mind in terms of services, spell it out upfront. Tell her what you expect. She may not be able to offer the services you want and you may end up with unpleasant disappointment

- When accepting the price and the services, now it is time to discuss the duration of the engagement.

- It is NOT enough to say LT or ST. But rather spell out the exact time. Say until tomorrow 11:00am or 2 hours. Etc.

- When you and the girl are aligned in terms of prices, services and engagement duration, do not pay her on the road or in the car or at any time prior to being with her in the room.

- If she asks for the money prior to being in the room, then run away. She is trouble. Trust me on this.

- However, if you are already in the room, some girls may ask you for the money in the room but before going to bed with you. It is now your call. I usually go for it. In order to put her mind at ease and to allow her to focus on my cock rather than focusing on whether she will be paid or not

- Give her the impression that you are here in the country for a long while and you may require her services often. And if you like her and if she likes you. You may be ending in bed several times together. This will perhaps motivate her to give you her best.

- Now, regardless how it goes. Whether within expectations or not. Always end it in good terms. Without making a scene or a noise. It may cost you money but your piece of mind is priceless. Be smart. Be firm. Be kind. And most of all be considerate.

Sometimes it is better to avoid the top star hotels. I was fortunate to miss a room at Le-Merdien due to over-booked status and was put to a lower star grade hotel nearby (by Rotana not Beach Rotana). This hotel is also dry but they allowed guest having valid ID cards. I was wondering around the Abudhabi Marina Club first night with no luck. Then on recommendations from my reception guy off to 49'er the second night. The crowd was good with mixed options, scored a toll Russian in first night, PRC second followed by an African on the final night. All on a 400 dhs range LT (for rest of the night) and I was lazy to look for some other options.

This was reasonable experience I must say.

They will allow your girl in; however they do require an ID from your girls at all times with no exceptions even for regulars. And the girls or most of them know this and are usually prepared with their IDs

By the way, there is another Novotel that will open in Abu Dhabi; next year

First shot at writing a report but will give it a try. Almost stayed home thinking with F1 in town I wouldn't get a cab but actually no problem. I went to 49ers like I always do with plans of drinking and listening to the band. Had lots of offers but my Fili GF from Dubai keeps me pretty satisfied so I wasn't interested although there were a couple of tempting CIS. As the night got later and the beer kept flowing I gave in and took two PRC home with me after the band quit. The first one had a nice set and when she asked me to take her friend too the beer answered yes. Anyway to make a long story short it was a good night and GFE from both. Probably the best twosome I have taken home. Although both were nice I would repeat with just the first girl only next time but there is a lot to be said about waking up the filling in a PRC sandwich. Good luck to all of you out there and I guess I need to check out a few other bars in Abu Dhabi. I just haven't found anything to compare to Seaview in Dubai yet.

Staying here in December. Does anyone know if this hotel is GF?

Depends what time of day......and how long you wait for the taxi (as at the wrong time of day could a very long wait and walking would be easier)..........and sometimes better go to the private beaches.

When I stayed there last time, It used to take me 10 minutes walking to the Corniche. I used to walk around the sunset time frame.

Aint beach the place where sea meets the sand?

The Corniche walk way may be 10 mins walk from novotel. But the beach is further (maybe 20 mins of brisk walk)

How do I know. I live quite nearby.

Some interesting observations in this thread these days...

Quite a few reports of folks getting steamed up on beer... asking for trouble in my humble opinion in Abu D. Trouble from the hotel security, trouble on the streets with the police and trouble from girls. Makes you a soft target for little sex and taking 500 from you for bugger all. Hardly suprising 'sisters' and friends appear also trying to get another 500 - they work together and look after each other. If you are fuelled up you will be buying drinks all night for CIS and it's hard to keep them quiet back at the hotel.

I'd just be wary guys, it's not the sort of place to have trouble going on in a hotel or on the street. Mid range hotels and low key mongering is my advice (which you didn't ask for :) )

Re the PRC sisters, very odd, WR knows I know PRC community inside out and very unusual to get them break off an arrangement like that. Not good for business or reputation. Would also hazard a guess they are cousins if related at all although they will sometimes call each other sisters.

I'm staying in Novotel in January for a few nights (first time in AD). Is it fairly straightforward to meet girls at the bar there, and take them back to your room?

What time does the bar/girls stay open there for (as I arrive in the evening)?

Also, what are the girls & prices like in the novotel bar? I'll have a look in the photo gallery too.
