1st time to Bangkok, if I go out at night in some nice shorts, clean t-shirt, and sandals is that acceptable attire for most of the clubs? Being that it will be ht and humid mid May, I want to be as comfortable as possible.
O.K. for a go-go bar but not really good enough for a club. Try to have at least a collared shirt.
Trousers and shoes are probably not really necessary unless going to high class places.
The girls prefer clean, fresh, well groomed, and good mannered of course.

I Never wear shorts unless I am in a beach destination. I always wear Dress Pants or Jeans, No Sandals.
Wearing Shorts and Sandals during the day is acceptable but once you go out in the evening (no matter where), wear proper attire if you don't want to look like a peasant.
That's only my opinion.
Sounds like an overdose to me. It might not be willing to go down again. Or any sexy girl on the BTS or MRT might cause another hard on. :D
I'll second Dinghy on that. I also use 1/2 real C and 1/2 50mg generic V made in Argentina (25mg).
I buy bulk 50mg generic V in Buenos Aires, it comes to about $1,3-1,5 per 100mg although I prefer the 50mg pills because it's easier to cut in two.
They also make "masticable" ones that you don't have to swallow. Just keep them under the tongue untill they dilute. That's if you need it within the next 15 minutes. Good for backup. Or if you have stomach problems with the other one.
I have to buy real C for about $10/pill. No generic C there.
Have anyone used Apcalis? Is it working? Can someone quote average price in BKK?
Thanks

I was actually talking about cutting whatever dose is "normal" in half and taking both. Works for me quite well, indeed.
The "local" Apsalis is effective (but I get mine in Cambo)

Kamagra
Aside from the Kamagra reports here on costs of tablets, dont forget the soluble Kamagra sachets. They will also give a 15 minute result when you just cant wait.. i find those to be the best and most effective route.
I don't know if sold everywhere but the chinese pharmacy on Sukhumvit, next to gas station thats next to the Nana turn off has them.

To start with i was joking around and not meaning to be seriously critical.
However its true I thought you were suggesting a very large dose, which may have been unnecessarily large. But I can understand that each person would need to find the dose right for themselves.
I haven't tried kamagra myself but was aware that 100mg Viagra was very powerful and that usually a quarter of one of those was sufficient for a powerful effect. I assumed Kamagra was same dosage of the active ingredient Sidenafil or whatever it was (I can't remember the spelling for certain).
Half a Cialis may well be enough on its own.
So half a Cialis and half a Kamagra sounded like a mega dose to me.
Not being a doctor, i would not be able to comment on whether an overdose was a bad idea.

Apcalis is available in 2nd Pharmacy in Sukhumwit Road starting from Soi 4 petrol station and heading West towards the expressway, for I think 500 Baht per box of 4. It works, but at 25mg per tablet its not as strong as 100mg Viagra/Kamagra/etc.
Does last reasonably well over 24 hours though.
Can be chewed.
Ideal for those wishing to have the stamina for several pops in the one day.

Well, that's like comparing coffee with instant tea. The 20mg Ap dose does slightly different things than the 100mg K or V
The chemical is "similar" but not identical plus Ap is retained in the bloodstream for a longer time (they call it "drug half life") - Ap is "the weekend pill"; K or V is the "good for the next 2 hours or so pill". It's one of the reason the K or V "gel" version is popular - easier to get it into the bloodstream
Depending on whether or not one "needs" the med, the primary adverse reaction can be "headache", mixing the 2 seems to lower the headache problem for me. I'm not sure there is an overdose for "normal" use - if it's "required" as a vasodilator (relaxes blood vessels), the major issue is with combination with nitrate drugs (like nitroglycerine) which will cause a dramatic lowering of blood pressure to dangerous levels

An Update to an Update
This is an update to the Update on the Beer Garden which I posted earlier.
A friend who's just come back from Bangkok told me the Beer Garden continues to be crowded, with more male customers - and even non-P4P farang females - than he's ever seen before. He's worried that the Beer Garden has "jumped the shark"* in terms of its status as a prime FLer pickup location.
Essentially, more and more non-mongers are visiting the Beer Garden because they like the food, prices, convenient location, huge TV screens, whatever, but they aren't there for the girls. I'm sure the management of the BG isn't upset by this development as they are in the business of selling food and drink. The less empty bar stools and tables the better, from their perspective. But there is the possibility the P4P providers will get frustrated by the difficulties in hooking up with customers due to the crowding. On some nights, neither punters nor providers can scan the scene as easily as before - too many bodies in the way. The shortage of seats tends to "pin" some girls next to males who only want to drink or watch football.
Will success spoil the BG and drive away both punters and providers? Will the BG make a transition to a "straight" bar and restaurant, with perhaps only a few providers visible? Will it become a down-market Gullivers? It's too early to say, but the BG continues to move in the direction of less dependence on the mongering crowd. For 25 years it was stuck in a time warp, now it is changing fast.

* For non-U.S. readers, "jumping the shark" originally referred to TV shows which were once big hits but at a certain moment, began to decline. The moment that marked the downturn was called "jumping the shark" because of an episode in which the lead character of a long-running and hugely popular series literally jumped over a shark while water skiing. After that, the show dropped quickly in the ratings. The term is now applied to any situation in which a once popular establishment or product begins to lose its attraction.
Do you mean the mystic trump of trumps that is never dealt?
I was thinking more in terms of a customer who will take the girl away from her current situation by marrying or sponsoring her.

I like strong-willed women as I'm pretty set in my ways myself. I enjoyed her depth of character, although I appreciate it could be daunting in some situations.

If you're going to out for some "action" (ie, you have never met or seen the person you're going to hook up with), then by all means wear slacks or dress jeans, and a casual shirt. You don't have to dress up, but I've worn a sport coat, shirt and jeans, and done VERY well. Good looking, nicely dressed guys tend to attract the nice looking girls. That's only MY opinion.

I didn't see it that way, but I suppose it depends on the time you are in there. I maybe saw one or two farang girls in there during my two weeks of heading in and out of there. Of course, the new TV's they've put in there will attract the football crowds more so than in the past. The Biergarten may be bending a little, but it will never break.

The reason for the awful ratio of johns to freelance prostitutes at the Beer Garden has nothing to do with that establishment 'jumping the shark'. It is simply due to the fact that there are hardly any freelancers in Bangkok compared to the old days, and certainly nowhere near enough to meet the demand. We are witnessing the end of the usefulness of that city, fellow mongers.
