Pattaya Reports

Well, after a 15 1/2 non stop flight from JFK to Taipei and connecting from there another 3 hour flight into BKK, it was a long, long day and about 24 hours door to BKK airport. The VT 6 people had set up a taxi guy for me who found rather quickly (and immigration was breeze with no more than 3 minutes after the long walk to the immigration area. However, the poor taxi guy as we were coming down from the escalator starts fishing for his car keys and couldn't find it !

The guy was so confused and shaken and left me to go back up and look again, as it was no where in his pockets or any of the 5 pockets in his pouch / man purse! LOL.

Returns after 15 minutes, could not find it! Then he decides to back go up again and then reappears after another 20 minutes. With the key LOL either from lost and found or one of the other taxi guys behind the cordoned off area where he was standing.

Anyways, hotter than hell at about noon and car (mini van in black!) takes about 10-15 minutes for AC to begin cooling down. Making good progress on the highway to PAttaya and suddenly the traffic backs up to a crawl for the next 30 minutes! Turns out there was an accident in the opposite direction and the car in question had hit the divider wall and was burnt to a black crisp. People slowing down to watch in our direction.

Make it to Pattaya after nearly 2. 5 hours since I cleared customs! Found TT near Soi Diana as recommended here and exchanged USD for 35 baht per USD and no commission.

Check in to VT 6 was also long as there was no one in the lobby to meet me and no Tik to be fOund. Finally after about 20 minutes two of her maids show up by the elevator come to meet and take me to my condo apt. The process then took a while to get the rental phone from them (a Galaxy s 5 new) for only 500 baht for my 16 days. It had just 100 baht on it so I will have to put more dineros in it soon. Spent a lot of time with them getting to know all the stuff about the condo and equipment in the apt.

Wifi working great and apt is super. Lobby area on the 3rd floor is a mess and IMO the set up is dated. But my apt is very very good. Love the location right next to Central Festival mall. Went there and stocked up a ton of stuff from the excellent grocery store for the room and they delivered it for free if you buy a min of 1500 baht.

Ate a late lunch and showered finally and went to sleep. Woke up around 1030 pm shaved, showered again and headed off to Walking Street. My very firSt time and it was quite cool. I got a gyro from the Istanbul guy and it was frickin terrible and after less than 1/2 threw it away (sorry I am from NYC and that was plain shit).

Well, entered IBar around 1245 and really loved it! My first time of course, just wanted to watch, drink and dance by myself for the first night since I am patient guy and I like to develop a strategy for the future as I will be here for 16 nights. Also, went back and forth to insomnia upstairs. Got a 500 Baht VIP card for the 20 PC discount and also ate some CHicken Pad Thai at their NY diner which was quite OK but not as good IMO as the Pad Thai in Queens, NY!

Anyways, danced a lot and went quite crazy towards the end dancing ( lol ) since I'd had neatly 8-10 Cubas ( very light and diluted for 160 baht each ( but about 135 baht each after my 20 PC discount ), and I stayed there until 7 am! Returned and showered alone and went to bed and woke up in an hour! LOL. And maid service coming at 2 pm.

Plan to hit Soi 3 for a hours massage and extras hopefully this pm and will check out 808 and possibly 1-2 other dance clubs maybe. Don't plan to hit any gogos until day 3, until I figure out what talent there is at Ibar and the rest, as I do not care for pros. It was pretty crowded this past night and when they closed Ibar down stairs at 5 am and sent everyone up to Insomnia it was jam jam packed 100 PC and there was some fights and security had to get invovled dragging some big Russian (I think) dude out.

Anyways, I would rate the Ibar talent as mostly mid to upper 20's and early 30's in age for the girls and quality IMO was very average. YMMV. If after day 2 and 3 I don't find quality going up a lot then I think I may have to hit the gogos which is not my preferred option (but maybe the really sexy ones are in there?).

You are right, it take few minutes to judge a bad attitude and split. But I'm spoiled, knowing all the extra-super-good experiences that I had in the past, not just in Thailand doesn't help at times.

Mr. E. said very well on the dressing issue. Some girls are naturally elegant, can dress sexy while staying decent. E. g. Grab one of these veil blouse, change to lower shoes, etc. I do not want any lady to dress like a bank teller.

By the way. I saw what I'll call the "tall trophy doll" yesterday at the red car. Stunner with long jet black hair, wide-apart eyes giving her a even more exotic look. Wrapped in China-like long tube thing, talking to some youngish. If she's resident, who will probe her? She's too tall for me. And I'm not short, just regular.

I like dancing too but my body or mind failed me yesterday. I was also put off by Marine disco in desolation, that place is surely bottom feeders but the DJ is (at times) better. Red car has a new DJ now playing worst of 2011-12. OMB.

Oh and the good American-Thai band playing in the now ridiculously small Lucifer, what a sad sight. Just to keep a job and lifestyle. Everyone has his ups and down in life.

Impressive stamina my friend. I went out my first night but could only go till about 3AM. Met one of my regs and took her as a consolation prize I was so damned tired! And I was only coming off a 9hr flight from Moscow.

I am sorry I missed you at Ibar last night. When I got your message (which was blocked because of the inbox) I figured you had gotten delayed in Taipei or something and did not look too hard for you. With the concert last night the place was crowded to the gills with too many dudes pushing and shoving. I am not surprised fights broke out later.

I talked to a couple of girls while I was there. One I thought was with a guy, but we made eye contact and she beckoned me over. I asked her if that was her BF and she said , "No he only want to pay me 3 thousand.". I asked how much she wanted and she said 5K LT! Can you believe that shit? She wasn't even that hot (though had a really nice natural rack).

I did have fun with one of the dancers (dressed in the white angel costumes) I bought her a drink and she really grind on me. We even kissed a bit right at the bar! She really had me going and I was thinking of asking her to go with me. But she said she did not get off work until 5AM and I did not want to wait it out that long. To be honest she was cute, but not all that hot. Maybe I would have waited it out if she was.

I only saw a few stunners. But they were all with guys. One blonde girl in particular at the table right above the staircase that leads upstairs was just smoking. Too bad she was already taken.

I agree that the quality at Ibar seems a bit down this year. As for the real lookers, I keep seeing the same girls over and over again -- it just seems they are getting older. Most of the younger ones there arent all that attractive. Pretty much my same impression as back in January. Where is the new talent?

I bounced a little before 2AM and hit 808. A lot of old chubby chicks. Did not stay long. Then I went downstairs to check out the band at Candy Shop but it was kind of dead there too. A couple of cuties, but they were all with guys.

After a while I decided to hit Red Car. Mostly just to cool off as it was hot and muggy as hell on WS last night. As luck would have it I met a real hottie there. Smoking body nice big silicone boobs on a slim frame. Cute face. Lovely figure. Amazingly smooth skin. After a couple of drinks and some dancing I took her home for 2500 LT. A real tigress in bed. She screamed so hard I thought the neighbors would call the police. We parted at 4Pm today after a couple more round this morning and afternoon. A real find for RC as that place has been going down recently. And to think I really only went in there to cool off and had the lowest expectations of meeting anyone.

Anyhow, I hope you have better luck tonight and that we have a chance to run into each other.

But there is some good news. Lucifer seems to be undergoing some kind of remodel. So it may be making a comeback. At least that was what the bouncer said when I asked him if the back was open.

We could use a good alternative to Ibar. 808, RC, Mixx, Marine just don't cut it.

Maybe the bouncer is the same guy that got them closed down two years ago for beating or roughing up a patron. If my memory serves me right they were the first place to be closed down 2 months when Martial Law was declared and there was a curfew? As noted in prior discussion on this topic the crowd and band moved to 808, prior to Lucifer closer 808 was the place that look like Lucifer. During the closure they said they were going to do some renovation or remodel when it reopened nothing was ever done, what you see now has been like that for a long time.

To be honest I don't really pay all that much attention to these things as I am usually looking to see what the ladies look like.

If 808 is any indication of what kind of ladies they would be no great loss though.

Last time I was here in January I think I remember going back there to check if the disco was open and it being totally empty, but the lights still on. Very weird.

Sad to see this happen as I remember picking up a few real hotties there years ago.

It didn't make much sense in the first place to open a disco (808) of the same genre to compete with another disco you own on the same street.
