Rio used to be a good and cheap place to have fun with beautiful young girls from all over the country for not much money or often for free if the girls liked you.

It's not like this anymore, next time I will stick to the Dominican republic, Colombia or South East Asia where I have much more fun with pros and non pros for less money.

I've been going to Rio for over twenty years. It was monger heaven for the first ten years. Beautiful girls from all over the country converging on Rio to make some cash. The girls weren't jaded and often wouldn't go home if you treated them right. In that time, you could see how the internet was making Rio too popular for foreign men. The World Cup, the Olympics, moralizing politicians and on and on forced the changes.

At one time I would never say this, but now I say if you are solely interested in mongering go to Sao Paulo. Yes, it's a totally urbanized form of mongering (no beach, no major sightseeing, no relaxed atmosphere). However, this is where the beautiful Brazilian girls are working.

I plan to travel to Thailand in January but I am sure I won't enjoy as much as in Brazil. 1. It's not my country, I am just farang. 2. I don't speak Thai 3. I will only fuck hookers 4. I won't get middle class or upper class girls because they act differently than Brazilian women so I am not used to them, I ll be a total newbie. Those who followed my SP adventures a few months back know that I saw quite a handful of girls. And of the 29 girls I saw this year worldwide (I like to keep track), SP and Campinas girls took 4 of the top 6 spots when I did a ranking. 1. I live in Thailand. It is not my country. I lived in Brazil before and it was not my country either. I am North American, but the worst day in both places is better than the best day in my country.

2. Portuguese is my third language. Thai is my fifth language. My first day in Brazil I could not say Hello, Portuguese. My first day in Thailand I could not say Hello, in Thai. Did not matter. My first time in both places I had a blast. Pattaya is a tourist and expat town. A lot of people here speak some kind of English.

3. Many freelance hookers here in Thailand are just like they were in Copacabana in the old days. In Pattaya they are cheap and in many cases you have to make them leave. If you plan to only get chicks from bars then that will be a different animal. But when you hang in the discos a lot of chicks have normal jobs in the daytime and there are some chicks that come from Bangkok on the weekends to have fun. You never know what you are going to get.

They despise (sex) tourists and think their country is the best in the world anyway. This dude already made a list of everything that he will dislike in Thailand compared to Brazil, without having ever been to Thailand. LOL.

The truth is that I came back to Rio because twenty years ago I had a blast here with feminine thin friendly graceful girls from all over the country, especially making friends and partying with the girls, for reasonable prices or no money at all. These working girls were young, fresh and fun and you could find them everywhere. Of course, nowadays, I could always pick up regular girls but I don't have time for that.

This friendly innocent attitude of garotas de programa is gone now and I won't come back to Rio. Probably So Paulo is much better in that respect. A lot of things have changed in Brazil the last decades, for good and bad. The mongering scene have changed a lot in Rio, but it's still very good if you know where to look.

I understand that it can be a shock to come back to Rio after being gone for 20 years (?). You experience that the GPs are less friendly and that the cariocas have become arrogant and aggressive. It could be that you have experienced this because you have changed in these 20 years, not just aging but also in your attitude towards the locals. Personally I find the GPs as lovely and sweet just like 27 years ago and the cariocas just as welcoming and friendly as always.

You can find many friendly people in other states and even in Rio de Janeiro if you keep away from touristic places. Brazil is a open country unlike many countries.

I don't like Copacabana, I can't stand many people there, but there are many nice cariocas in Rio de janeiro. Maybe this is because Copacabana is the only place for you and you judge people very quickly before knowing them. Because you went to VM you don' get out of the car just because people were black or did not look nice to you. If you judge people that way, don't be surprise you never run into friendly people.

Brazillians are very nice and humble if you treat them with respect and care. However, its 2019 and Brazil scene has as now you are dealing with girls who are born between 1995 to 2001.
