If those are not working or you want a different bank, go up the stairs in that same area and there are numerous ATM"s from other banks very close to the top of the stairs.

If you don't like paying a bar fine at strip club, or using the internet to have a lady come visit you because she might bait and switch, then the casas are your only option or overpaying at the mansion, that is unless you speak Spanish and can get laid by non pros wherever you normally are (good talker, or young / handsome, etc). You can get casa chicks to visit after work, but they typically work 6 days a week and you might not want her after she's been through 10 guys earlier that day. I used to go to CR regularly until around 2009. I finally god bored with the whole scene there and from what I've heard, it's gone steadily downhill since. CR is a great country but I have gotten into Medellin; it rocks in comparison Your post made me realize that CR became to me a bit like going over and over to the same old Zoo. For me, CR was (and still is for many) very cool for a limited time. IMO, the contrast with MDE is more like going from a Zoo (CR) to an open range of an African Savanna (MDE) where the big game roams free along with greater rewards, thrills and mind-expanding challenges.
