Sao Paulo is the best place to monger or to party in Brazil. There are more options. There are many people from other states and foreign expatriates living in Sao Paulo.

T65 is now open from 4 pm instead of 5 pm.
T65 is also a prive open from 9 am to 4 pm and is a club from 4 pm. They close at 12 am, 1 am, 2 am, 3 am, 4 am, it depends on the move. When you hit the prive, you can talk to the girl you choose in the wiskeria, Only the wiskeria is open when the prive is open. The club and sauna are closed when the prive is open.

If you do Colombia, skip Medellin: plastic girls with attitudes and hordes of tourists. Cali is nice and extremely monger friendly.
If you want to pick up regular girls, stick to Bogota but the weather sucks. Bucaramanga is not worth it. The most beautiful girls I've seen were in Barranquilla but people were not very friendly and it seemed hard to pick up. You'd need good Spanish and minimum 3 weeks there. It's also extremely hot just like Cartagena which I liked quite a lot but it's more touristic and not as relaxed as Cali. The climate in Cali is perfect.

That is why you go experience places for yourself. I have been to Colombia probably 100 times and our experience is totally different besides the weather. I recommend the first place people go be Medellin. I never see any tourists because I stay downtown. But I guess if you were to stay where tourists stay then that is what you will see. A good rule of thumb is to go to the country homepage and see what city has the most posts. In this case Medellin has over 27,000 and no other city even comes close.

I plan to go to Thailand and I know my experience won't be like people speaking some Thai and having travelled there for many years. I will be a total newbie.
Sao Paulo is the best place to monger because there are more options especially if you speak Portuguese.
Sao Paulo is not a touristic city like Rio de Janeiro, it's a city for expatriates. Most foreigners living in Sao Paulo are expatriates not tourists. Brazilian women still make more money from locals than gringos.
Heading to Rio for the first time for a week in January. I've heard from others that an apartment is the way to go. I will probably stay near the beach in Copacabana. Any advice and / or recommendations are appreciated. I'm trying to weigh out the pluses and minuses as far as girl friendly, security, etc. Thanks in advance.

I was contacted by and met an expat local, a very nice and informed guy, who also introduced me to a couple of ISG members, who I hung around with on occasion, visiting prives and having lunch.
