Daniela AKA Luna
I see my dear Daniella has been busy! Have you added her to your whatsapp yet?
If not, be prepared for "Ayudame! Endless drama if you text her. I think she may be a little crazy. Seriously.
I DON'T DOUBT THAT! You need to be a bit nuts to hop on some guy's cock in a cheap brothel, without even thinking about putting a condom on. Yes, she asked for me phone before she even got naked, so she could give me her number and get my number. HA! And she was really aggressive about asking for extra money to buy those disposable paper things (yes that is a fordidden word) um, Huggies for her baby. No, I will not be texting her. She was fun, and we are done!
To her credit, I am still sore above my pubic bone, from the cowgirl pounding she gave me. She is the energizer bunny!

No I am certainly not intersected in what your saying. Everybody is different. I don't want some dirtbag ho. I can find that in Camden New Jersey. I have seen it and done it. I go to Colombia for hot girls not necessarily the best but solid good looking women for about 300,000 peso for all night. Not some ho in a garage. Fuck that.
I just got back after spending a week in Medellin and had a room at the Premium Plaza Hotel (30,000 Pesos) between the Church and the Museum.
Yes the place is very sketchy at night and if you look like a gringo you can have some serious problems. However I did encounter several nice girls who would spend hours and do literally anything I wanted. One day me and my buddy after sessioning in our rooms rode the metro / teleferico up the mountain and had lunch with two girls who each got 50,000 pesos from each of us and a lunch. There's some very grungy / ugly ones but also some cute ones and a lot of semi-pro's / part timers who cruise the area in the day that you can hookup with if you have passable Spanish speaking skills and the time to find them.
The El Centro street scene is probably not for many on this board and my favorite playground in Medellin.
Yea I would care. I am not flying to Colombia to be in some parking garage with some dirtbag and say it's not for everyone.
I prefer a nice room with a hot girl and a few hours.
Like I said in beginning to each his own.
Guess you fit in with garage dirt.
To each his own.
I'm not flying all over the world for that.
Good day sir.

First time in Medellin
This is a quick summary of my first trip to Medellin. I'm a 40 year old middle class American with no Spanish skills, traveled to Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Tokyo.
Seoul, Tijuana, Dominican Republic, Shanghai, and Macau. First time to South America. I learned everything from everyones valuable input on this forum. Thank you.
I used this as my guide https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?hl=en&authuser=0&mid=zzgTRtD9VTmQ.kn7YEgWmCD9E.
I flew in from Lax ($420), Immigration and Customs was super fast, Its 10:00 pm Went to the ATM outside of customs, a lot of ATM's shut off at 12:00 midnight. Got my cash and grabbed a taxi, tons of Taxi's. It takes about 40 min to get to the city of Medellin and will cost around $22, Medellin is basically broken up into two spots.
One side is Poblado, the safe, upscale, tourist spot and the other side is el centro. They are about 15 mins apart by Taxi, I recommend staying in Poblado if its your first time.
I chose to stay at the Charlee hotel for my first two nights. ($150 a night). Very cool hotel, I was surprised how nice it was, covered open air balcony's and nice beds. Its going to be.
Noisy because you are right next to all the restaurant and bars.
Dropped my stuff off and took a taxi to Club Isla. Decent strip bar, paid $4 for cover. Got a couple of beers, Girls looked decent, no one stood out. Saw one dancer with a nice ass and had a session with her, $85. On my way out, I swear I saw Kylee Jenner's double, wanted to go back in but was tired and hungry. Went back to the hotel and crashed.
Day 2,
Woke up, ate, and checked out the 3 story gym located in the hotel. The women in the gym were much better than the girls at the strip club.
These girls were some of the hottest housewives I ever seen. Decided to check out the Casas, Took an Uber from the hotel at around 11:00. Have the address and phone number on hand (refer to the link above). Most drivers were confused and had to call the casa to confirm their location. Don't be surprised when they drop you off and you see no store front signs, There will be a door with the address above it, Just ring the bell. Went in and they will sit you down just like the AMP's back at home, The girls will come out one at a time and show you their front and backside. You will sit and cycle through about 10 girls trying to remember everyones name or number. This is where the Colombians do it better, No awkward pressure to choose a girl. All the girls were on the thinner side, I decided to pass.
Its around noon, got another uber and decided to go to Thai Spa. Same thing, no sign just a door. Clean place with only two girls. Lucky both girls were cute but not really my type (I like them thick), Chose one and went upstairs. Price was $50.
Went back to hotel, to freshen up, took an Uber to Mayorista to check out the street girls hanging out at the bars, I was either to early because all I saw were old pregnant ladies hanging out in the front. Feeling a little disappointed, I grabbed a taxi to el centro. Its around 5:00 pm, first time in El Centro, super busy and a way different feel from Poblado. Checked out the street walkers in Carrea 53 on the map and was grossed out. This area would be equivalent to hooking up with crack working girls.
Went back to the hotel and rested, went to Fase Dos at around 10:00 pm. Things started to look better, Saw a lot of pretty girls but still nothing to my liking. I was starting to get frustrated. Everyone was thin and athletic but no thick curvy women. Picked out a surfer looking girl. She was nice but nothing special. Paid $85 and had some fun. After that, I took a taxi to San Diego Strip club. This was a smaller place, finally found a natural big thick, big tit and ass Columbian. I Chose her right away and we hooked up for $85.
Day 3.
Woke up, worked out and ate at Mandango's (popular Columbian restaurant). Had to change hotels, Got a place at San Fernando Hotel ($100). Nice business hotel with a big swimming pool. Swam and relaxed all day. At around 5:00 decided to check out New Life in El centro. Took a taxi, they dropped me off in front of blue door. I was a little confused, walked in pass two gated doors, walked upstairs and was all of a sudden in the middle of 20 Colombian dudes drinking, laughing with each other, and staring at me. I felt like that seen in Animal House, I felt so damn awkward, I didn't know what to do because there was no host. I just walked through them to one side of the room, and walked back down. Decided to walk to Barra Ejuvicta, this was my favorite strip bar, these girls look more like your typical Colombian thick women. The girls were pretty and only $35, I stayed here for about 3 hours. Went upstairs with a couple of them. One was a super tall and thick and the other was some crazy black thick cross fit looking girl. Enjoyed my time with both of them.
Decided to get some food and sleep.
Day 4,
Writing this summary of my trip, I plan to go back to Barra Ejuvicta and Marciblo strip club tonight. Not going to hit any new Casas, I want to save myself for tonight.
Quick points.
1. Colombians are polite and easy going. Its best to have that attitude when you stay in Columbia.
2. The party scene looks fun but seems hard to break into if you are solo. Most Colombians hang out in groups and socialize within there group.
3. Regular Columbian girls on the street are the most gorgeous women I have ever seen. I was expecting all the providers to look like them. Manage your expectations.
4. When you go to strip clubs the dancer will collect tips from everyone after she is finished dancing. Have 2000 cop (75 cents) to give her, I felt cheap but they were OK with that.
5. You don't have to tip taxi drivers. I do tip at restaurants ($1-$2).
6. Tipping has been the most confusing thing on the trip. Sometimes the girls will ask for tips and some won't. I give a little, like $2-3 if they ask.
7. Food is like American food, heavy and fried but it comes with an Avocado and banana.
8. Wear jeans, t-shirts, polos, and sneakers. You will fit in, Do not wear anything too fancy, no expensive watches or jewelry.
9. Best to spend some money on a nice hotel. Makes the trip that much better for first timers.
10. Day time are casas and night time are strip clubs.
11. Viagra can be bought for $5.
12. The girls are pretty passive at the strip clubs, if you see what you want make sure to make eye contact and they will come over.
14. Learn 10-15 phrases in Spanish so drink time with the ladies aren't so awkward.
All in all Medellin is a cool place and worth checking it off your bucket list.
If you have any pointers on places I missed please lmk.

Hey Ken!
Awesome report! I noticed you were paying a lot for hotels. I have a place in Poblado that has a pool, gym, basketball court etc. In a safe, gated complex worth 24 HR security with an extra room available. If you plan on coming back PM me and I will hook you up for a fraction of the hotel prices.
Also, I was curious about that gym on top of the Charlee hotel. I had heard about it. Did you happen to see their monthly rate. Every time I call or email I never get any response.
Lastly, what was your reasoning doe casas during the day, strip clubs at night?
Oh and also, did you Uber from the airport? And how much were your Ubers on average? Cheaper than the US ubers?
This is a quick summary of my first trip to Medellin...
Thanks for your report and impressions from a first time visitor. There are several areas you could have improved on, but I am not here to criticize. I'll offer some suggestions.
First, you should pay for everything with Colombian pesos. Maybe you did, but you always mentioned dollars.
There are many parts of Medellin, but Poblado and el centro are the extent of many gringos adventures.
I don't know the cost of Uber rides there, but the taxis are very cheap. Approximately 9000 COP ($3) between Poblado and el centro. The yellow taxis are safe. If you ever have a problem with them, the taxi number is etched into all the door panels.
Mayorista does not get started until around 10 pm.
It is not a good idea to wander around el centro after 5 pm. That is definitely too late to go to New Life. Best time is before noon or around 2 pm.
Generic Viagra (which works well) can be bought at the drugstore across the street from Mondongo's for 3000-5000 COP for four 50 MG tablets.
Considering your choice of hotels, I think you were not interested in having the chicas visit you. In that case, and the fact that you like the thicker chicas, you can find many casas that would save you a lot of money.
You didn't mention the cost of food. If you go outside the Park Lleras area, you can find lower prices. The food courts at the malls are popular.

Uber in Medellin is slightly cheaper than the taxis. They are hard to get in Centro but easy to find in Poblado.

Good day sir.
The question was not "why you care"? The question was "why should WE care"? And by "we" I mean the hundreds, possibly thousands of people who read this thread. Now, why should we care what you like? As you said, "To each his own". So, why do we need to hear your ego-centric opinion? Surfer500 gave us a good report, for which he should be thanked, and you just gave us your ego-centric opinion. There's a huge difference there. Unless you are picking up the tab for the rest of us mongers, why do you think we need to hear what you like and don't like? What don't you post a trip report on how you did what it is you like, and how we can enjoy it as well? That's what this forum is all about, after all.
I noticed you mentioned Camden, NJ. I left Jersey in 1989 and have never been back. Your post reminds me why I left. Dwelling among unattractive women and ego-centric people in a densely populated area, is a great waste of life.

Gym is nice for a hotel gym, They have 3 floors, 1. cardio and trx training, 2. Dance studio with 5 heavy bags and a double end speed bag. 3. Machine and free weights.
Lastly, what was your reasoning doe casas during the day, strip clubs at night?
I thought most of the casas finished early.
Oh and also, did you Uber from the airport? And how much were your Ubers on average? Cheaper than the US ubers?
Ubers are pretty cheap, I think same as taxis. I didn't have a sim card, so I only used them when I had Wifi access from the hotels. The app runs like a map app so it was eating my memory. Didn't use it from the airport. Yes, cheaper than Us ubers. To tell you the truth taxi's are more convenient in Medellin.

Thanks Fur Luv
Thank you for your suggestions!
1. First, you should pay for everything with Colombian pesos. Maybe you did, but you always mentioned dollars.
Yes, sorry for the confusion, I used American dollars for the first timers planning a trip from the Usa.
2. There are many parts of Medellin, but Poblado and el centro are the extent of many gringos adventures.
Yes, I'll be back. Hopefully I can see more!
3. I don't know the cost of Uber rides there, but the taxis are very cheap. Approximately 9000 COP ($3) between Poblado and el centro. The yellow taxis are safe. If you ever have a problem with them, the taxi number is etched into all the door panels.
Thanks for the advice. Yes I ended up taking taxi's because they were more convenient than waiting for the Uber.
4. It is not a good idea to wander around el centro after 5 pm. That is definitely too late to go to New Life. Best time is before noon or around 2 pm.
You are most definitely right. I just didn't have the same feel as when I was walking around Tijuana (I saw a guys body right before he was shot in the head a few minutes before I left the bar). Of course, you can never be to careful.
5. Generic Viagra (which works well) can be bought at the drugstore across the street from Mondongo's for 3000-5000 COP for four 50 MG tablets.
Yes, I actually got that one at the place you are talking about. Made a mistake, I paid $2-3 instead of $5. Its called excito I think, same ingredients as Viagra.
6. Considering your choice of hotels, I think you were not interested in having the chicas visit you. In that case, and the fact that you like the thicker chicas, you can find many casas that would save you a lot of money.
Yes you are right. I like to do my business outside of where I stay. Should of checked out more Casas but I was saving myself for the night. I like the strip club atmosphere.
7. You didn't mention the cost of food. If you go outside the Park Lleras area, you can find lower prices. The food courts at the malls are popular.
Yes, I ate breakfast at the hotels, lunch time Mandangos, a couple of late night spots and some cheap take out places from El centro. Food cost was $15 a day.
Thank you so much for your suggestions!

Tinder
Hey guys,
Tinder is pretty good over there! I am currently in NYC and I am getting more Tinder matches and messages from Medellin than I am here haha. You just have to pay for tinder plus to match in other cities besides your current location, which is 9.99 USD a month. It is especially useful if you travel a lot. Just change your discovery preferences for wherever you are planning on going. Then make your matches and set up dates before you even arrive. Its pretty amazing. And I am pretty damn sure some of these matches are pros even though they have not revealed that.
