I would guess the bars are mostly owned by Ks and I have no problem as long as all ethnicities are treated equally. Hell if it wasn't for the Ks the town would be empty. Change is change and it always goes w / a little controversy. So Fields Ave will be more like going to Korea than the Philippines in the not too distant future. The Ks need the westerners now but how about later? Is more intense change in store for the western tourist?
They (are building an 8 story hotel right at the Walking Street entrance sign. Huge changes are moving very fast and so where will it all end up? Time will tell.

Not from rejections or discrimination, but from disillusionment due to being scammed and short changed by so many people. One of veterans on this board kindly advised me that AC was not just about going into Atlantis and bar fining the hottest chick there. I took this advice on board and started to look for opportunities elsewhere and was open to offers. This then led me to meet massage girls, MILFs and also took me out to the Perimeter bars.
