Nah. Those direct flights are hella expensive. They are like 15k for the flight. 13k pre tax another 2-3k for taxes. So if you factor that in at all you are paying same or more. So depends on what you want to spend it on, flight or and mainland accent or no flight and tw accent.

Honestly. I could care less. But in sh you can have 2 for the price of one basically cause it aint much more. So there is your trade off.

A lot of them appear to be agencies advertising but there are a few with amateur looking pictures (although these could be agencies as well!)

I am from Taiwan, visit some times, and speak fluent Mandarin. I can tell you, action is not plentiful here. I go to KTV places, 3500/2 hours, they give you a lap dance in the first hour, and HJ at the end of the 2nd. But you need to know a local to take you. Quality of girls can be good, but the truly good ones are "bought out" for the night at 17000 for the evening. Even if you pay that there is no guarantee for anything. Even if you have the money I would say save it for a trip to Thailand, China, or Phillipines. If you want an adventure, go to 18, Barcode, and take your chances. You might score a freebee and at least you won't have to shell out tons of cash for it.

Depends on what do you want. If all you want is quick "in and out" there are plenty of 2000K - 4300K places. Most of them are saunas and San Chong establishments. You can get lucky and get 7-8 quality once in a full moon, but mostly it's 5-6 quality.

KTV is not bad - like I said it's a man's fantasy, you go there to play. If you are a boring stiff and only wants in-n-out action then don't spend the money. But if you want a s-slave than KTV is for you and the money if well worth it.

Be careful of scams. NEVER "deposit security" in an ATM, they will get your money and laugh at you and you'll get nothing.

Also, be careful of the girls showing up with their "body guard" and rob you blind (I've heard it a few times.) This is why I generally stay away from craigslist but stick with KTVs. Yeah it's freaking expensive, but at least I have a safe and fun time.

Last weekend, news have been reporting about some ladies law maker wanted to removed the punishment impose on SW if caught in the act. normally, taiwan's law only punished the provide and nothing happend for the customers, now these ladies law maker are lobbying aboutchanging such law to the extend of putting some penalties or even go for some social servies or attending some classes for those customer when caught.

I think, Taiwan Law maker has to consider of legalizing the Sex industry. specialy they are legalizing teh Casinos in certain island.

It will be too backward for an industrialize nations to be too conservative on the sex industry aspect. I belvied themore concern to all this law maker is the concern of facing too much debate from the conservative group....specially those housewife whom loosing their husband to the PRC ladies since the opening of the link between the 2 nations in the taiwan straights.

No matter what, in any country prostitution is still seen as a black mark. Its probably more tolerated in a poorer country as compared to a modern country such as Taiwan.

Heh, I read that too, funny. Taiwan will never legalize prostitution under President Ma's watch, he's too "moralistic" to allow that to happen. Also, I won't be surprise if they start punishing customers soon, however, I suspect the police will still turn a blind eye on most cases. I've learned long ago that in Taiwan there's a big gap between the letters of the law and the actual enforcement of the law.

If the punsihment on customers becomes a legal law, then we have to watch out, since the LE will follow laws during any kind of raid.

F*ck, it is a reality that this nations prostitution exit and most public servant can not deny of patronizing themself...so why can not be legalizes and all be safer.

I remember the time wherein the snack alley night market has all thos lovely waiting on thos small windows and thing is just find, since they are accumulate in 1 area and easy to control.
