Kiev's placement on that list is subjective at best. And applies to business expats/travelers who have a company expense account and don't care how much they are being squeezed.

To weigh in on the post/not post discussion. I very rarely post any details in my public post. But I am sure quite a few people can tell you I am extremely helpful and detailed in private messages - and always willing to meet a fellow ISGer when in Kiev.

At most of the smaller clubs (inside casino's) you can take a girl home for $100. The downside is that there aren't continious shows at the smaller clubs. The usually wait until they have an audience before putting a show on.

I didn't know there was a strip club in PP - thanks for the info, I'll be sure to check it out on my next trip.

Ash1001: I have the following alternatives:[list][u]Etoile[/u] (Grand Cafe), Maydan Nezalezhnosty 2, B.Grinckenka. It is in a restaurant near Independance Square. In the evening after 8pm when you walk to the bar in the very very back of the building (pretty hidden away) you can ask for a show. Some 8 to 10 girls will dance topless for you alone. And while dancing you can touch/grab/test. Costs only 80 UAH for the whole show. Give the girls who do good dancing a tip: no more then one note of 5 UAH per girl. After the show you can take one or more girls with you. Costs $US 150 for 2 hours ([u]DO NOT PAY MORE![/u]). Also discuss what services you do want in advance. I took a girl from Etoille that turned out to be a bad performer. No kissing and no BBBJ although agreed upon before. Also her pussy was not shaved! So I cut the deal and did send her away without paying. I have heard rumours that a girl named Karina is very nice. Definately the most expensive of this list. Hotel Premier Palace is a very expensive hotel. Entrance was not a problem. Quality of the girls was maximum a 7. And I didn't see a strip-show. One of the girls I was talking to asked me for a drink of at least $US 20. Otherwise she would get problems with the manager. For me this place was a big deception. Seeing guys walking around with girls that were at a maximum a 6 or a 7 for which they payed at least $US 400. Disguisting!
By the way: do not mix up Taboo with TaTo. This last one is a disco way out of the center (6/11 Soffe Perovsky St.), where there are strip shows. I don't know if you can take girls from there.[/list]

Etoile is a very good deal and if staying in the city center it is easy access right by McDonalds. I have used it on every trip to Kiev usually my first night when to tired from traveling to do much hunting. It is $150 for 2 hours or $300 for all night and you must agree on the services you want in advance.

L'etoile is my favourite cafe in kiev, with a great terrace for spring-summer time. I consider it my office as far as I do all my working dates there. They have the best capuccino in Kiev, and a very strategic place.
Even if the manager have invited me several times to meet the striptease place ( very discrete, most clients doesnt know that exists), I felt shy to go alone to such place, but the girls use to be around, they are just average.
In any case dont take it as just a strip tease place, is one of the most nices cafes of Maidan. I really think that was a mistake of owners to put that show bussiness, in any case if somebody want to visit it, go downstairs to the cafe, and go along the small bar until the stairs in the end, and continue, there is nothing indicating what happens after the stairs.

Thank Fido Dido for the info on stripclubs in kiev, I have being doing some research before I go in Sept this year and have found two other stripclubs called Talgen (its a Restaurant like L'etoile with a stripclub downstairs), 32a V. Vasil'kovs'ka and Miatniy Nosorog (Mint Rhinoceros), Chervonoarmiyska 111/113, any info on these two places would be much appreciated. If not I will report on them when I get back.

Unfortunately the wrong information is written about restaurant Etoile and it’s strip club tet-a-tet. The Strip is closed!!! And it is not sure if it will open again.
Restaurant Etoile has bin sold. It will close in autumn or winter for renovation and will maybe open under a new name. If there will be a strip is not sure.
As it looks now, for all workers of the restaurant it will be end of job. Also for the current manager, whom I will not mention by name! But for people who know him we can call him here the “Nice Lebanese”.
For me, personally, Etoile is also my home base for 4 years now. And it will be as long as it stays open. It is situated at the best place, it has good food for low prices and it is indeed the place for meet people for business or pleasure.

Glad to see we fully agree about L'etoile, great place, and I really think was a mistake to mix such cafe with strip bussiness. I feel sorry for the workers, specially for the manager u mention, and for a pretty waitress named Julia, allways smiling and with wonderful blue eyes. (nothing to see with flirt etc).
I have been using it as my bussiness office since 2002, and I think they call me Mr. capuccino LOL
