ZY PUB? .... dead and gone.
You even will not recognize the area there, anymore.

Yup, gone but would be interested if anyone knows of similar set-up elsewhere.
If no one wants to post publicly, please PM.

Levitian
Correct, but Xiao Mi (former sexy entertainer) is still available on call.
Hi friend,
There is this big think called expo coming up and if you read here you will discover that most of the activities will be or are already cracked down. What is left is better left unsaid publicly or it will also cracked down. See Beijing 2008. Best place for an apt is as far away from the Expo site as possible, also price wise. But that is no guarantee for action, I stay away from Shanghai now as much as I can, so very, very bad timing my friend
On a seperate note, we were talking about the crackdown and how FL's were being stopped going into hotels with guys. He told me that all the hotels have been told in no uncertain terms that girls won't be tolerated in the hotel rooms. If they are found, not only will the girl be locked up and fined, so will the punter and also the hotel manager on duty at the time.
There is a sign from the police stating the policy during the expo, at the elevators of the Hilton. It states NO visitors after 11pm. And before that time, visitors will have to show their ID before allowed to go up in the hotel. (even to the bar).
My modus operandi is to book a room for two at La Casa (500 per night, 3h even cheaper), and tell them that we will arrive at 2 am.
Once I have found a companion, we go together to the hotel and check in together. This way, she is not a guest, but an occupant. I haven't had any problems with this procedure so far.

I do similiar, as I check my girl in with me when I register (I have a copy of her passport for them to scan).. this works well if you have a steady girl..
Just stayed at the Hilton. There has always been security in the lobby. However one is now posted right before one goes to the foyer where the lifts are. It is obvious that he is specifically stationed there to insure our evenings are dedicated to sleepong alone
Hope the Expo is worth it. I went by the constructions and simply don't understand the point.
Walking around downtown.
Talked to a girl walking with an older woman who wanted to go have tea or coffee with me, NO WAY. Probably end up paying 1, 000 Yaun.
Walking street on the Bund.
Talked to another group of girls one who wanted me to go have coffee or tea with me, No Thank you! I'll keep my wallet where it is.
Talked with a Tout and he made some claims. Got in a taxi and he took me to a place. Got to a building, took an elevator to a room with music, a 7/10 girl super-white girl came in. They forced drinks on me (hers and mine) for 100 Yuan, then tried to charge me 100 Yuan for use of the room. I got up and walked out.
An 5/10 girl nearby offered me 300 Yuan for an hour everything included.
So the tout led me to the area and I got ripped for 100Y, but at least I found one area.
Anyone try the Craigslist outcalls? Those girls seem sssssmoking!

Blast from the Past. The 'coffee girls' were a major part of the scene in the mid-late 1990s. They'd work in pairs and pull the sleeve of your jacket to get your attention. I saw one or two on the Bund when I was there last month, but thought the whole scene had died out long ago. Must be coming back due to the expo. Anyone been lately to any 'coffee houses'? They'd take you to these places where they had little booths that had had extra partitions built on so you could have a little privacy ( "coffee" for 2 cost about 600 RMB, as I recall)?? I remember one called 'Big Tree Coffee House'. Must be showing my age ;-)
Raids are getting a lot more frequent, was in my regular place when they stormed in like the keystone cops, looking under my towel and generally being very abusive to the girls. Fortunately wasn't up to anything at the time, but that doesn't mean that they can't make something up, these guys are not to be messed with. After we had settled down to a calming massage, they came back about 30 minutes later and charged in again, without warning, poor girl nearly jumped through the roof this time. So, be careful out there, maybe when the expo gets under way, they will divert their attention elsewhere, but for now, quite dangerous. In the name of security, laowai can also be challenged for documents at any time, so if you are out late, stick to the main areas, keep your shorts on and you should be ok, wo ai Shanghai!

You sound like you don't have much experience. You are EXTREMELY lucky they only hit you for a couple hundred kuai - most people get hit for a couple thousand or more.
A few absolute rules to follow (unless you are actually seeking bad experiences):
1. NEVER follow touts.
2. NEVER use craigslist (they are all fake) - caveat, use craigslist but negotiate full service price up front on the phone (not more than 800) and not tips and expect any girl to show up but never one you see in the photos, no matter how much they promise, because it's always a lie (Chinese have zero shame about lying).
3. Read this forum - all the above plus much more is covered in great detail. It's certainly worth an hour or two of your time.
I, stupidly, tried this site/girl/number
http://www.cn.xihalife.com/photos/organize.php?param=553487&uidtype=userid.com
of course she's a total fake, and although promised it was really her, the girl that came was a wretched SH'nese ***** that I had to immediately toss out, and she got pissed and demanded taxi money and made a big scene. Fortunately I have good security and they carried her off the property.
Too bad these girls resort to bate and switch and extortion type tactics rather than just providing their service. SH seems to have gone downhill a lot in terms of take home providers over the past couple years. sigh.
Nice pics, but I remember seeing them on flickr.com two years ago.
I have good experience on craigs; not only in game but also in the hooker scene. This is out of the 10% that I filter from the usual scammers.
I tell the hookers/pimps what I am about, upfront. Bait-n-switch is at their risk, won't pay until after I'm done, cim (this is tough) or no deal, two pops in an hour, an hour is 60 minutes (not 40) and so on. It's a business, be hard-ass about it!
Now, here's a chic that is looking for some hard fcuking (PSE too); the guy must be 85kg+, mean. No fat-asses and no cheap Charlies. She doesn't expect to get paid, she's in it for fun. She'll do 3sums and swing if you want her to.
It's been a while, so I'm hoping she won't connect you to me on ISG.
Yes agreed, we need to be hard-ass about this. BTW, this gir used to live in the US?
