I should just tell you to RTFF - but from your posting, you are really clueless aintcha??
Go to the China - General Info thread, go back 3 or so pages and you'll find all the info you'll need - which is that unless you're pretty damn lucky or a miracle happens, you ain't gonna get a China visa in Hong Kong. You need to apply for it from your home country/country of residence.
SEAJ
Joe, it's not that bad. And since rules change on a daily basis, in this case RTTF is useless.
I know of an agency who at least a week ago could get a visa the next day for around 800 HK$ (same day impossible). Not sure if they still can. The were also ale to take care of the ticket and hotel reservation, so that this is not needed. But it depends on your passport as well if they can do it. Not available for the 30+ coutries on that infamous list.
If someone PMs me with email address and nationality I will mail you the contact if you still can get the visa (I'll check that first).

Hey Tig - no if he RTFF the china info thread, he will get to the official PRC website on the matter and be fully informed and updated. He can AND SHOULD do his own checking on his own particulars versus the official web site.
And as far as an agency still being able to get a visa - I don't know about that for those that are NOT residents of Hong KOng.
anyways......

SEAJ
No way will they tell him the details I know. Yes, last week they could, not sure about today. Coincidentally a friend met the guy in the China visa office in HK in the same queue. You know better than me that in this part of the world Guanxi goes the longest way.
I have a friend who even managed to get 2 Americans into China for a 2 day business trip without visa.
Thank you for your help... I did check out the china forum and found what i needed. There was some conflicting information between what i read earlier in the forum and what different travel agencies have told me here in the U.S.
Need information. I have ben trying to acess the 141.com web page but with out seccess. Really appreciate if some brother can help me out here. i am now in HK and have been trying for 2 days but without seccess. I have use both the yahoo and google but still unable to get to the site.
I'm coming to Hong Kong for the first time in a couple of weeks. I've RTFF but can't seem to find anything information on whether there's any issues bringing girls back to your room. I'm going to be staying in the Eaton and Metropark Wan Chai, so any information on these hotels in particular would be gratefully received.
Cheers

Norman
It seems you are not familiar with the search function. Do a search on the Hong Kong forum with "girl friendly" and you will find the explicit answer.
Go to www.google.com.hk and search for "sex". Its the first choice. By the way, this has beem mentioned before, so searching really saves time.
Have fun!

Cheers Tiger 888. Not the most helpful BUT you did help me re-look at the search function. I'd been using the default search by threads which brings up every report highlighting the words in red. Used that for 30 minutes originally before posting the request and found nothing. However if if you click search by reports instead it brings up those nearest your search criteria. Found what I was looking for in 5 minutes.
The point of the thread (apart from showing my ignorance....) was to share that according to the reports all Hotels in Kowloon and Wan Chai should be girl friendly.
Cheers

Norman
You feed someone for a day by giving him fish, you feed him for a lifetime by showing him how to fish. I am glad it worked for you.

Have fun!
I believe that all old posts that mention the side look like this www.******.com, so in this very case searching is not so useful. Google in most cases does miracles. Important: In order to get it as the first result you have to go to the above mentioned HK google site.
US navy ships are docking in HK for a little R&R this weekend. Thousands of guys on leave according to SCMP.
Maybe not a good time to be in Wanch.
