So, after a drink, and seeing the lowest quality talent todate on my several visits, I think tonight may be the night to check out some of the other clubs and take the long hike to Mixx. The place is not packed at all but just no quality talent whatsoever. Leave without a drink and head over to 808. It's nearly 4 am now and 808 is super, super packed, tons of brothers and again guy to gal ratio closer to 1. 75:1. Can't even get by very far from the door. So, head over to Pier Disco and it's dead. So, now I head back to Insomnia and now wait for a good 5 whole minutes to cool off from the heat and sweat at the top is stairs as entrance with the AC above.
Work my way to back, carefully looking again to see if Honey from last night is around. Don't see her and go get a drink at the far bar to the left. Place is jelling, more girls have come in and I am swinging a bit to the music.
Get a tap on the shoulder from the back, turn around and there is a smiling chick telling me they (her and her guy) think I'm cool. Get introduced to a German guy, who does not speak a lick of English, in his 30's nice guy. This guy ask me if I am German and speak German (haha LOL. I took a year in HS, but enough now for a taxicab and a vocabulary of maybe 25 words).
Anyways, the guy now says I look like a German music guy on TV. Again LOL and ROFLMAO). Moi?
So, these 2 are cool and high fives, I move a bit to dance and explore and the 2 gesturing at me with big smiles and his gal then runs over to me and starts to dance with me. After a few minutes, at the end of that song, I turn around and glance to my left and there is Honey from last night. And quickly get behind her near the bar hoping she has not seen me yet.
So, last night, at my place, she was getting on to me, saying she has seen me there on many nights, why I wear hip hop clothes, why I like hip hop and rap etc. Then she asks why I did never talk to her before and wait only until 6 am? Haha. I tell her I love to move around, dance and be free. She then castigates me and throws me in with the other men she's met who all pull this routine and why now she only arrives after 3 ! She also seems very pissed at guys who recently have cornered got her drinks and have her at their table and then go dance with another girl, in front of her! And also, about being taken to Go Go places by guys and having to be there watching the Go Go girls which she says make want to throw up and she said she then just focuses on the other hot guys there and ones coming in. In her words, hey if the men can do it, I can too. Pretty emphatically. Anyways, lots of other stuff, and then her German boyfriend and she knows she's hot etc etc. So, I'm like, been there, done that. Need be a ' butterfly'.
So, getting ready to go to the other side of the bar and I get a Hi from ONG and I explain Ive got to go from that spot. Because there's the girl from last night and point her out to ONG. He says ok and I move and a couple of minutes later I see ONG talking to her, LOL. Anyways, I'm cool with that. About 10 minutes later, I see Honey moved on a bit. But like about another 10 minutes later I see ONG talking to her and dancing a bit. I'm like OK I can now go find a girl and quickly get out of there.
Well, I go to get a drink and waiting there like for 5 minutes, turn around and there is Honey walking out and looks at me and mouths ' What ' ? I dunno what she means and just kind shrug my shoulders in response as she is about 5-6 feet away. She exits and goes down the stairs. Now. I think I can hang around and it's like almost 545 am and I go get a drink and ONG is back and says he spoke with Honey, and told her he learned of her from his friend (my real name) via Facebook (ahh. No but anyway) and apparently when asked Honey said she did not go for the night with any such guy (my name) or sleep with him. Great, now I'm thinking to myself why get me involved and ask ONG what exactly did he expect her to say " yeah I did to some guy she just met and say yeah for 2500 LT. I mean c'mon Seriously?
Anyways, I was not upset and ONG and I chatted a bit and I said Ive got to get a drink and I'm going to line up a girl in the next 15 minutes. As luck would have it I met a decent looking girl, who I had not seen at Insomnia before and bought her a drink. She then took me to a table (the small, tall ones), she was from Udon Thani (only been her for a month and worked at one of non Soi bars (meaning not 3,6, ,7 - 13 etc) and spoke very, very. Very little English. And, she had a colorful skirt and top from her bar where she works from 12-8 pm. Agreed on 2000 for LT and left within 15 minutes. Will provide details in a separate post as she is still with me as of 4 pm.

Thank you.[/QUOTE]I don't know this 'first class express bus' but if you take a bus from Ekkamai then it will go the northern bus station in Pattaya.
From there you can take a baht bus. You can't miss them, it's not a big station and they are standing near the exit. Just google 'baht bus' if you don't know what they look like.
Tell the driver you want to go to the LK Renaissance and most likely he will drop you off at Second Road and you will have to walk the last (short) part to the hotel. It will cost you 50 Baht.

Yeah, Ibar / Insomnia is way too crowded on the weekends. I remember last Friday when me you and ONG went together was the same. Too many dudes. Too much pushing. I was really happy to get out of there with that pretty little 21 year old.
Maybe best to avoid if you are in town for a longer stay. Hit the gogos or Soi 6 instead. Or take a regular to dinner and stay in for the night.
That said, right now, I'd give my left nut to have been there last night. 555.

[/QUOTE]Yes, seriously. You still take this as if was not a big dancing brothel and put too much meanings into. Many girls are pathological liars and will peruse truth only when better suit them. So the complete story is that I got close to Honey, she was smiling and friendly, asked for my name etc. After a while I said you're pretty but your customer of yesterday (no Facebook mentioned) is there behind us. To be honest with you, if she had said "so what", or "no problem", I could have taken her for the night but I didn't like her act, and moved on. After not even one half round she grabbed my hand again, for the same routine to repeat, I could tell that being 6 am then she was pressing for a deal. I appreciated that even if pretty she's not my type really. She's has good and quick English but her accent is more like of someone with an African parent, not Thai at all. Anyway, that is the kind of BS that fills the night, happy that you didn't made a big deal of it and got what you wanted at the very end, thing that I couln't.
Here's another one, I was glancing a "better" dressed good-looking lady, early 30 maybe. She was evidently not interested in the modest looking bald guy in his 40's looking at her. A skinny boy like 19 yrs, short hair comes up, smiles and talks to her, she did put a little show for all of us hinting jokefully to a foursome, then smiles, grabs the hand of the boy and walks away. That's how it works there.

When she came into my room, one of the first things she asked me was if I had a mama and papa? My papa passed away when I was 6. So, that actually led to a long conversation about her parents and their holiday to Cambodia etc. And her telling me that she cannot imagine how people who lose one of their parents or don't have one can go on. Not as much as you, but I have learned a lot about so many things and have some ability to read faces. And, Honey was a bit drunk and was in the mood to talk and talk and I doubt she does that very much. As you may know people often are more honest when they are drunk. Particularly women. Anyways, I will be gone in a less than a week, and it's not any of my business , but bringing me up was completely unnecessary, IMO. It's not kosher, as they say in NYC. And, I do have a pretty good BS detector in my brain! It's not very easy to pull stuff on me and I am known as a hard nosed negotiator who is not easy to read. I hate saying such stuff about myself, but I think in my situation I feel like I am being challenged with BS.

I think you've got her wrong. I think you are too hardened for your own mental health and well being.

BTW, I have seen at least 2-3 such (who I believe are) half black, half Thai chicks at Insomnia. As I write, I can even picture the faces of 2 quite clearly. One is super slim and kinda tall and has a small face and small jaw and 20-23. The other is a bit well built and about 26-28. I've gotten good vibes from both, so if interested you may want to try them out.

And you have to get to know the lay of the land one time or the other, don't you?
The baht busses that are parked at the bus station are all heading in the same direction (Beach Road and Second Road) and beside that the drivers will always ask you where you want to go.
And you don't have to figure out what amount to give because there are fixed prices: 30 Baht if you get off anywhere at Beach Road and 50 Baht if you get off anywhere at Second Road.
Most people are going to that area so for most people it's quite easy, but I agree it gets a little bit more complicated if your hotel is in Jomtien or somewhere near Third Road for example.
Maybe some drivers are willing to take you there (for the right price of course) and if they don't want to do that then they will drop you off at the right place to catch another baht bus.
Most of them are quite helpful in my experience, in their own 'macho Thai way' anyway.
And as for the scorching heat: I'm fit and in good health so it doesn't bother me that much most of the time.
