Captain's post about spinners made me realize, for example, that he likes spinners and I don't. I like tall (5'8" and taller), curvy (36 DD+) women who are firm, fit and in shape. And granted, there's a limited selection of those among the indigenous Mexican population. Usually takes a girl with pink nipples to rise that tall. And, I'm not into street girls. Couple all that with the fact that I'm there every week and see some of the same girls over and over, so really, my available selection set each week consists of whatever girls are new that week. So, yeah, it's a limited selection. WALDT and that's probably good.

So if you are going, don't carry anything, and just tell them you need to pick up medicine.

Since this has started most of the time I get through with not even being asked to pay. I have been send to 2nd guy and got through with a weak excuse not having to pay.
6 weeks ago my wingman used Dr Appt reason but still had to pay even with a print out of appointment.
Anything can happen when crossing since this all started less than a year ago.

The situation varies a lot depending on the Mexican immigration official. The whole FMM / Visa thing is a scam in my mind. When I first got mine I asked the immigration officer to show me where it said Visa on the FMM card. He refused to do and demanded that I pay or go back.

Even this last trip, I was expecting to pay because of what I read here. I guess I was lucky. As an aside, I usually give a one word answer when ask what I am doing in Tijuana. I tried to keep as simple as possible.

Airlines have no information that connects your ID to your traveling (unless you are signed up for a frequent flier program - that number shows the traveling you have on that particular airline). It is only used to match the name of the person trying to travel with the name of the person the reservation is made for. A passport number is only entered for international for the general declaration/manifest; that goes to immigration. That is why when leaving the US you do not have to pass through immigration as you do in other countries. It cuts out redundancy because they already know you are leaving and if they need to pick you up due to warrants or whatever, they can just go get you when you try to get on the plane.

There is nothing like that happening for domestic flights. There are hundreds of John Williams traveling around. Law enforcement is not going to pop up at every domestic flight in the country looking for that particular John Williams that is behind on child support. You only need a name and birthday for a domestic flight. You could even use a fake ID for that because no ID numbers are needed. That is why somebody that is in the country illegally can fly around domestically all they want without getting caught by immigration. In other countries you have to enter some type of ID or passport number to buy a ticket; in the USA you do not.
Just carry the FMM / Visa and show it to the immigration. 99% of the time they only want to see that you have one. Not sure if the Mexican immigration will continue to require the FMM / Visa and limited travel restrictions end.
