Umm like people from Spain? They are hispanic but certainly not mestizo. Or anyone whose ancestors came from Spain and did not intermarry with the indigenous people. And since I doubt Fox is a Spanish name, I think his case might be a bit more complex. His mother's name was Quesada. She was a basca. And his father's father was from Ohio. So he's probably not a very good example.

No point in trying to pass oneself off as clever by arguing semantics. If you can't post a trip report about Medellin, at least post something about mongering, or something relevant about Medellin.

I be RTFF Wayback many pages several times and I'm coming in a week, for first time in Medellin but not Colombia, with Spanish skills. Some of the information is good and some a bit old. I've seen the map with all the Casas, for the daytime. I am looking for some current is intelligence on the city please. Especially good clubs, or take out or delivery in the evenings, and I'm not talking pizza. Also, interesting things to see in the city and the nearby vicinity. Any special foods to try? And I'm not talking DATY. Hopefully this will get your noses out of the dictionary, and back to where you prefer it to be. So give me what you got, guys. Thanks.

Steven you bring up a good point. I had heard that you can get a private chef to come to your place and cook meals for you for pretty cheap. Anybody have any contacts of private chefs? I would definitely be interested if so. Thanks in advance. Also, in terms of delivery, can we use apps like seamless, eat24, grubhub, etc down there or does Colombia have their own food delivery type app.

Yesterday was my first day in MDE. I just took a walk around the Iglesia De La Veracruz and was impressed by the numbers of hookers of all kind. There was even a midget. The carrera 53 is the most impressive, full of low end bars and crowed with hookers. It was looking like a zoo. I didn't met a so weird place in the red light district of Bogota. I didn't dare get my first shot because I felt like being the only one tourist of the place. Maybe today with the help of 3 or 4 Pilsen.

Colombian media and magazines as well as local authorities are finally aware of the major problem offer (paisa hookers) and unwanted demand (gringos) are causing to.

En Elite area of town. Be aware the WORST thing you could do to a paisa is to make them feel they are loosing their beloved El Poblado Territory. I have a friend of mine who.

Is a high rank officer in Medellin and they are receiving precise orders from the mayor himself and the Antioquia Governor to get rid of both unwanted gringos and hookers.

On that area of town ASAP. I am not trying to create an argument here just be aware gringos will be taken to police stations quite frequently from now on, Hookers will.
