None of this focused on mongering gingos
Everyone has been aware, but there is a new mayor and there has been changes already. 2-3 months ago the police started shooing people away in parque lleras if they are seen drinking (on some nights). There are more checkpoints where the police stop people going by. Someone I know was stopped for smoking a joint (which he finished), told they had it on camera. The original posters assessment of what is going to change in lleras may be off, but I do not doubt more change is afoot.
Thanks for the update. Be interested to hear reliable reports of impact to norte-americanos mongering in MDE. As for these reported activities, I think an increased police presence wherever we hang out is a good thing. From everything I have read (and seen) we have more to worry about from a lack of police than a police presence. Should said police (in Colombia) engage in a systematic and organized program of harassing us or worse, would of course be useful to get those reports.
Parque Lleras has really jumped the shark
A couple of years ago, 300 people would have been a crowd there. This last year, decriminalized weed, a good exchange rate, and the opening of inexpensive hostels has filled the place with lots of young tourists I call "sandal-istas. " They wear sandals, smell of patchouli, walk around calle 10 with their backpacks and shorts, and sometimes where their hair in dreadlocks. They don't stay in high end, or even mid-grade hotels, frequent the better restaurants, or spend very much money, but they have fueled the growth of the restaurants and clubs into the adjoining neighborhoods.
One night, I looked from the balcony of a 2nd floor bar and counted at least 37 cops trying to manage the menagerie in the park. That's a lot of overtime.
I circled the park that night, several times and spotted many dubious providers.
I don't see what the attraction is anymore.
Do some basic homework to make your trip more enjoyable
Someone who is interested in coming to the country of Colombia should at the very least learn how to spell the name of the country. This is a given Queenexpresszo. Even the illiterates who hangout in the Juan Valdez coffee shop know how to spell the name of the country and that is saying something.
How do people expect to navigate and carry on conversations when they cannot spell the country of Colombia? Worse yet is when you have people who have actually been to the country and still do not know the correct spelling of the name.
Your visits to the City of Medellin and the country of Colombia will be much more enjoyable if you take the time to learn some cultural things about the country, some basic conversational language, and do some due diligence instead of relying on being spoon fed information.
Enjoy your travels and be safe.
Thread topic + time is on our side
After long time search, chatting etc. I came up with with a report 14 of May, considering Perfect Ten; fitness or fashion models. Or simply supersexi prepagos and I thought that this was the place.
To start a discussion.
Then I read 3 pages of topic about the definition about the term Hispanic.
And that from members that called me a crazy guy etc.
I stick to the subject.
You can ignore my posts, or say they are worthless.
But discussing, very boring by the way, definition of a word.
Why did not Admin simply erase the the whole discussion or moved it to another thread.
I can to find Perfect 10 Babes; according to one guy, you can find such even at Iglesia Veracruz, but you have to walk many kilometers. I have had a Perfect 10 at the casa Estambul. A 19 yo black thin girl, with D/E-cups, natural and firm.
Price was like 55+15 for BBBJ.
The girls that are elegant simply can charge 10 times more, but then can't get more overall attractive.
Economics. We are not rich men on this forum. It can be god to have the experience from both the most elegant girls, and equally attractive, but paying a fraction. And becoming her novio. Maybe doing her friends?
This sort of stuff we should discuss, give each other info. , as the girls do on their side.
I think we have a good opportunity to lower the standard prices set. At Energy, New life, Paisasdivinas. Unemployment is rising. China is slowing down and then all of the export-oriented countries in Latinamerica. This is not a short recession. China are in a phase where they lower their enormous consumption of raw materials and imports of agricultural products.
To a new phase, focusing on knowledge. China will simply buy a lot less of what Brazil, Argentina, Colombia export. At the same time many girls enter the labor market, that simply have no room for all of them. Prepagos of all sorts are increasing in number, western 1st world countries have a light but long recession at home, postponing our trips.
Lower prices, or more service for the same money. 2009 Energy costed 90 k COP. Then it's up to 140 k (120 k according to another source) COP, and with one ejaculation, which was never an issue in 2009. That is a rise with 55% and regulation of one ejaculation. The line-up has sometimes been that of a El Centro casa.
Negotiate down the prices. Taxi, restaurant, hotels, have a much lower inflation, and they are much more likely to have promotions campaigns.
Backpackers that live on $US10-30 a day does not increase demand at all.
(The guys discussing Hispanics, seem to have forgotten that "creole" plays a big part in self-definition. A Spanish could man loose his status if marrying a girl not born in Spain, even if she was Caucasian. The Spaniards had as a policy to make the colonies an extension of the European Spain. Creole is the basis for the definition Hispanic, but it is simply not used anymore.).
