Like $250-300 for short time. They had all the taxi drivers wearing their shirts and bringing in customers. In other clubs you can get 2 hour takeout for $3000 MXN and if you leave late at night (like 4 am), they don't have to come back. PV isn't a great mongering destination though, it takes a lot of work to find value.

Especially in a foreign country. I did that before and if you can make a good case your card co will side with you and deny the charges to them, at least it worked for me few times. Last time was on a remote beach near Cartagena. Ended up paying what I decided was a fair price of $300 in the end and saved $800. They were ripping me off. Also never carry a card with more than $10 k credit.

Noticed in Ukraine there were Indian and Turkish looking guys (techies?) sitting around in the clubs, watching strippers and not tipping or buying fichas. Wonder if the mafia bouncers got disgusted with them and decided to make the cheapskate Indian guys pay. . . I felt safe when I visit Ukraine, but I bought fichas and tipped dancers and staff unlike most of the other guests. . .

Apply the concept to something your not use and it can seem odd to say the least.[/QUOTE]When I first started going to the zona bars I didn't really know the protocol and I would walk in, not even buy a beer for myself and I would just go up to chicas and proposition them until I found a chica I liked, then I'd take her upstairs without spending any money at all in the club. If a mesero tried to push a ficha on me I'd give him a go to hell look and tell him no. So it definitely can be done, though I don't do that anymore. I finally started to realize how much fun can be had when you add drinks into the equation. Plus I started to realize just how hard the meseros work so I actually like tipping them well and even becoming buddies with them and the chicas, even the chicas I have no intention of hooking up with.
But if you have some game you most definitely don't have to buy fichas. Chicas aren't under any obligation to only talk to guys who buy them a ficha. For example if you're a true pua pick-up artist with the intention of banging chicas for free it might be better that you don't buy any fichas. But that strategy might not be preferable if you're only in town for a few days, depending on how good your pua skills actually are.

Bars along the coastal road had some very hot, young spinners at night. Years ago these bars had no clients, the girls would sit around all night but they wanted $300-400ST sessions firm, very unusual market. What other bars have girls for 3,000 pesos? That would be good deals.
Last I heard Las Antorchas near the pier had been demolished. Wonder if it moved somewhere. A few years ago gringo took a girl to his hotel, had a money dispute and went back to the bar after her. Her BF chased the guy out to the street and shot him to death with a Colt. 45. PV is way more Mexican than Tijuana.
There was a tour van that drive tourists to local bars where single women hang out. They were older and heavier nowhere lear TJU's quality. Wonder if they still do. Senor Frog had hundreds young boys and girls partying all night.
La Zona Tolerancia is about 5 miles North of town near the bull ring. I found a few hot girls there. Wonder the bars are still open?

From my experience they cost more but the girls don't drink as fast so you really get more for your money. Besides if it was a waste it would just make you appreciate Tijuana more.

One was a butter face, another claimed to be from Buenos Aires (and didn't look Mexican) but had a voice like Fran Drescher in The Nanny. OMG she wouldn't take a hint. I finally had to get the waiter to break things up. Another wouldn't stop flicking her cigarette towards the ash tray. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Has anyone ever ordered something via Amazon Mexico and have it sent to Cascades Hotel? I am looking to order some mezcal giftboxes overnight from Mexico City but an address is needed. Apparently, it can't be sent to any local Amazon locker. And no, I've never found any store in Tijuana that offered them. According to my favorite bartender, he actually has a hard time procuring it but there is always the Amazon Mexico scalper. I'm making an exception this one time.
What are my public transportation options to go from Cascades to Rosarito for a day trip? And playa Tijuana? I've heard of some frequent local (non-touristy) buses.
Personally I prefer taking the taxi vans to Rosarito. It only costs about $3. You can catch the vans by 4th & Madero. You will see a bunch of vans line up. Your other option is take a route taxi to Roaarito. They cost about $20 I believe. As for Amazon Prime delivery is only available your country that you signed up for it. Amazon is supposedly available in Mexico. But I have never seen a Amazon van in Mexico. I believe that Fedex & UPS services to deliver to Mexico. The corruption has been a big problem for shipping packages in Mexico. UPS pulled out of Mexico years ago because the corruption. Mexico's postal servic is notoriously unreliabe there as well. The Asian maquiladora's have ship their own items and do not work with other businesses to avoid the corruption problems.

They might not use regular vans so not to be robbed.
If Amazon delivery tends to drop off the box at your door after a single knock, I'm unsure if that's going to work in Tijuana where petty theft is a little high.

I bought 2 all last year and 0 so far this year and I have been in the bars every week for the past 12 months. You don't need a ficha to tell if there's chemistry between you and her. It's either there or it's not and there's not a helluva lot you can do to "create" chemistry.
