I'm going to make my first visit to HK ever pretty soon and I have a few questions about the Hong Kong VIP Pass advertised on their site. Particularly these perks that come with it: Access to VIP Rooms, Half Off Private Dances, and Extended Hotel Time.

1) What's with the access to the VIP rooms? Is it the same rooms you go to when you have to buy a bucket of beer? I'm assuming you still have to pay for that. What exactly is the perk to this deal?

2) Is every private dance you get 1/2 off or is there a limit? I enjoy getting lap dances to warm up so if every dance is 1/2 off, it will more than pay for itself.

3) How much extended hotel time do you get?

4) After how long does the pass expire?

1) It's the same room you access with a bucket of beers. With VIP, supposedly you get in free, but you still have to buy 7 or 8 ficha drinks for whatever girl goes with you. In theory, it's less than if you had to pay for your own beer plus hers.

2) Only the first dance is half off. I think you could get the same deal with the coupon from the website. Not sure.

3) It should double the time you get for a room. I think it doubles it from 20 to 40 minutes. Not certain on that, but I think I'm right. Also, if you stay there overnight, the percent off of the normal room price for an overnight stay is quite good. That easily pays for itself in a couple of visits.

4) 6 months.

Don't forget the free cab fare to the border. That's $5 each visit. The card does pay for itself if you're there more than 2 or 3 times.

It's a hassle to use it though. When you get there, if you want to buy your lapdance ticket or get discounted drinks or whatever, you give the card to your waiter, who (9 times out of 10) has no idea what it is or what to do with it. He gives it to his manager who takes it upstairs to photocopy it to make sure you haven't tried to use any of the benefits more than once per day. 10 minutes later he comes back with your card. And if you need cab fare at some odd hour, like 3am, and they don't have the normal hostess at the front door, they tell you they'll take care of you next time. Yeah. Right.

But all in all, I like the VIP card. The discounts do end up paying for themselves, and the extra room time is a great plus.

They will push the VIP room but seems to be a rip off to me. I would take the hotel time.

By the way, when I said you only get half off the first lap dance, I meant the first lap dance of that day. You can use that discount once per day.

Just like the first drink free every 24 hours, it's half-off the first lap dance every 24 hours.

Plus, when they charge half-off, they pay the girl half-off. I got a half-off lap dance with a girl once and when we finished, the guy in charge of the dance booths gave her the money for her cut, and she was pissed. I had to explain to her the half-off thing, and then I said the reason I like the half-off is because then I can tip the girl the rest of the money and the house doesn't get a cut. She seemed happy at that.
