Just came back from Kampala was there 27 days (I think 2 weeks would have been better) been stuck in the USA since Feb. 2020 I was ready to go some where when I bought my ticket no lock down or curfew. Didn't want to change my ticket for later so I went. So many girls wanted to meet me but it was so hard for them to move around. I did meet some who stay close to where I stay so I was able to enjoy the company of some nice African women. I was approach at least 5 or 6 times by women on the street in daylight wanting to go and escort me. That didn't happen in 2019 a lot of people are hurting in Uganda a lot of beggars on the street. I m glad I went and I was glad to come home a 7 pm curfew is no fun I was going to bed like at ten pm ever night ehehehehh LOL.

No. Put on your training wheels and book to Mombasa, Kenya. If you survive there, you're approved to Kampala. DRC is for a select few hard core Africa mongers.

As Neddy said, Mombasa is good to start, best place in my opinion. Kampala is good also but no beach and ocean. Dar es Salaam is one choice. And Nairobi, but it is business city, not so touristic.

Those four cities are English speaking places and easy to visit. Read those four forums and then you decide.
