The one I've been using ever since the Washington Square departure is the one on Soi 55 (just before Soi 6). Much nicer facilities than Washington Square, though no sauna or pool. Just got a day in Bangkok, and Tulip is ok, the lineup these days is going worse from what I heard. I don't mind something that offers close to Tulip but with a better lineup.

Don't recall which place I went to but the manager started negotiating against himself by lowering the rates way below what was listed on the sheet trying to convince me to stay. Must be pretty sad times for these places.

Went by Soi 24 then later Soi 24/1 to browse the outside ladies.
Soi 24 - All the regular girls hanging outside of the various bars on the circular alleyway. Checked out the ones in front of Orient, Mango, EZ, Addict, 102 Massage, and whatever other one is there. All were just run of the mill, nothing special, nothing to be mad about, decent pickings all around, and not much difference between the lookers of any shop -- the exception and big time exception was 102 Massage. I have a very dicey relationship with this place. In my opinion, this shop has more top lookers than most shops even have girls who work there. Not just good lookers, the top ones. Was a bit blown away by the quality, something for everyone. But that said, 102 I've been burned before, the performance is abysmal and price is a bit higher for not as much. If you want t he best looking MP girls, 102 is your spot, but I declined as I know how bad the performance was, and there was no girl that was a must have, although I would have been very happy with like 10 of them. Addict was the next best looking although I was told they upped the price.
Soi 24/1 - Walked up / down twice each over a couple days. Was very surprised about the low quality and uninterestingness of the girls, just really surprised, this was worse quality than Soi 24 and noticeably so. Boss Massage had the best looking ones from the outside, and the uniform is cute but weird. Everything else was nothing special enough, walked into and out of Candy and Allstar hoping for better on the inside, mamasan at both balked when I asked for the lineup, acted like it was an effort for them to give me the lineup. Finally got lineups on each, only to realize it was only like 1-2 more girls on each that weren't outside and looked about the same as the others, as neither had many ladies working. But there is some of the shops catering to the japanese clients if that's your thing. Saw an older classic, "BB" in front of Cherry and looks like 15 years older than her website picture, I remember her from maybe 5 years ago and looks like she aged a whole lot in those few years. Still doable, but I moved on.
Plenty of stuff doable at both locations, but clearly looks to be in flux right now for attracting more, and more attractive workers, and probably they aren't getting many customers either so girls aren't exactly happy to sit there all day.

My experience, though latest was 3 years ago, it's busy, lots of Koreans? visiting (Soi 55 was chock-a-block with Korean tourists). There is no lineup, you are shown a book, or maybe it's laminated cards with the girls available. You might try stopping by, asking to see the photos of all the girls, then book when [B]she[/B] is available. As I recall, the last times I visited, there was only maybe 4 girls available mid to late afternoon, another time only 2.
