I'm planning a week trip to Cambodia to visit the temples but also thinking about visiting either Angeles or somewhere else in the Philippines. I've been to thailand and Colombia as well as other places for P4P but I also like to do toursity things and lounge around on the beach.

Is Angeles significantly more dangerous than Thailand?

Is there anything to do in AC besides P4P?

To answer your questions.

AC is a much smaller playground than Pattaya, but still great fun.

Yes, perimeter and fields are the main mongering areas, they are actually 2 ends of the same street, though quite a long one. There are much less venues which mainly cater to Koreans in Friendship and diamond subdivision, I wouldn't bother with those as they are far and much less variety.

Perimeter is the daytime action area, runs from around noon to 10 pm. If it's your first time and you are a westerner I would avoid visiting after dark, the quality girls there tend to be taken by 3. 30 pm anyway. There are a couple dozen bars, they are all hit & miss, can't say one is much better than the other. Recent posters have noted Candy bar to be good, but YMMV. They're all walking distance from each other once in the area, just give a few a visit until you find something to your liking. BF in these should be anywhere between 1.3 k to 2 k.

Fields Ave (walking street and a bit beyond) is where the night time action is. The Dollhouse group (DHG) bars are known to be the ones with most variety and highest quality of girls, though they stick to the higher priced drinks and BF (3 k). You'll find that on walking street almost all bars expect 3 k BF unless the girl in very inexperienced or not big on the looks dept (so prices will drop to 2-2.5 k). DHG bars include Dollhouse, Atlantis, Crystal Palace and Ponytails which is halfway between fields and permittee and mainly close to ABC hotel. Another above average bar on fields is club RA, again, talent tends to be taken early, but the actions will run until around 4 am. After that it's either you're off for breakfast, a beer, or your room to party. Around 5 am the street fills up with beggars and street vendors and opens for traffic. I personally do not like hanging out on fields this late.

As for transportation, the ways to get around are Jeepneys, which I personally refrain from and trikes. There are trike "terminals" (groups of trike drivers waiting for customers) around every exit of walking street. You can find them anywhere. Looking western, they will probably try to ask you for 100 php wherever you go, some rides could easily be made for 50 or 30 php, but when you realize your bargaining with some dude to take you somewhere in a very unsafe vehicle for a dollar, sometimes you just let it go.

Another option for daytime action is the bigger hotels have bars and pool bars which will usually have at least a half dozen chicks around looking for customers.

Voodoo is 24 hours. Dollhouse 5 pm to 6 am. The disco High society is open until about sunrise. All on Fields, which is the main area.

Some perimeter bars open at 10 am, most at 2 pm.

You can hit dozens of bars just by walking around. I try to avoid the trikes, but up to you. Jeepneys can get you out and back to the farther reaches of Perimeter, but it's not impossible to walk. From the east end of the entertainment district (Fields), to the Clarkton Hotel is 3 kilometers.

My first visit anywhere I RTFF and ask clarification questions. The PI board is particularly rich with info but see themselves as 'managers' amd Lanthano is another.

I always look at FR history before I RTFF and see what the poster has done, most are nothing but questions but promises to FR after, some have taken it further (in the UAE for example) and told the girls, shown photos and got the senior into a really messy situation that meant he lost that good contact for ever.
