Today, November 1st seems like every trike driver is asking for P150 to go anywhere where before it was P100. I am not sure as whether it is because today is a holiday or not. Will find out tomorrow if they are asking for P150 or not.

This was on 3 separate occasions I asked up front how much and they said P150, I responded P100 and they all accepted. I do have to say a few days ago a trike asked for P150 and I walked away and hailed another for 100, while the 150 trike was lowering to 100. Of course this was not at a trike station as I don't think they would break the code if you went down the line.

Yes, prices have gone up and never will be back to normal. I was with the girl, wanted to go to my place. Trike driver quoted 150 piso and not a piso less, I was devastated. My girl was shocked. I've been travelling around on trikes this week paying the drivers P50 & P60 per trip. I don't ask them the price before the trip, just tell them address and give them the P50. On arrival.

A couple of casual observations from the week so far:

Fantasy Massage (Perimeter Road) is a recent opening so I am told. Girls are not the best looks but very open minded. It's a little strange having the wide tables separated by just curtains but the curtains are securely closed with a peg. Massage, BBBJ and sex all up for P1800. Had fun at this place.

I'm coming to AC in the next couple of the weeks and have had a read through the forum. I think I will be staying around the fields area as I guess I can just walk everywhere instead of catching taxis, haven't booked anything yet just need to check out which hotel I would like.

So far I'm seeing that the bar fine for the girls is 3000 peso + about 2000 for a good looking girl. Hoping this is correct and I'm not overpaying?

Also in fields are the clubs walking distance so Atlantis, Crystal Palace etc and do you have to pay a cover charge or can you just walk in and out of a club as much as you like?

All the main bars are on Fields avenue including the ones you mention, Fields bars are mostly evening bars but am pretty sure some are 24 hrs.

There is no entrance charge to most Fields bars although buying ones self a drink is expected, late night disco clubs have entrance fee.

Anything that is remotely attractive is working on fields avenue and the cost is 3000 pesos with some girls 4000 pesos (daddy, s girls) tip is up to the punter but most girls will be happy with 500 pesos tip (only pay on good performance and no scams).

I know some guys tip 1000, 2000, 3000 pesos but never found this necessary with all girls willing to repeat again for the lower tip amount.

It depends what you mean by 3000 plus 2000. If the 2000 is a tip you are going way overboard. Apparently some guys actually do give 2000 for a tip but it is not standard. I will probably be blasted as a cheap Charlie but please do not add to this practice. There are places that charge less for a bar fine FFS. In any case let us know what you think of the place. Depending on who is posting it is either paradise on earth or a dump on it's last legs!

Perimeter Road is a little further away, but not too far to walk. It can get sketchy at night, but it is generally safe if you are smart. But I like to get drunk and semi-stupid, so I avoid it during the night.

If you are White, curious if the popular girls will say yes to your 2000 pesos bribe. If you are Indian, more curious since the girls have a bad stereotype view about the Indians.

Lets face it. You don't want to give anyone their asking price whether it's reasonable or not.

I think it's good that you remind BMs to negotiate but if you're looking for something of quality in the AC bars you're going to get a big fat no 90% of the time.

Your average tourist doesn't have all the time he would like so don't knock the guys who pay the asking price because of time constraints.

My advice for first timers or any timers, drunk and stupid might not be the way to go. Always have resolution fees available in any case.

Possibly if I came in a group of three or more it may be different. Went to Atlantis, had a drink and asked the Mamasan if the girls would bar fine with Koreans only because I am willing to give a good tip. She was vague and said that girl may refuse someone if he is too old. I only purchased a drink for myself and left. Outside the High Society, couple of girls were smoking and one of them was a 10. I asked her if she would stay till noon and I would pay her 2500. She said she had to leave at 4 am-it was about 10 at this time.
