One thing I cannot relate to is the "bribe" you're suggesting.

I have never discussed any tipping with Angeles girls inside the bar. Heck, most of the girls never asked for tip when in the room.

I had a case with a girl from Salambo (now works at Ra) where I BF'd her around 8 pm with a mate and another girl for him. All had dinner together, private party in our room, jacuzzi till late and lots of liquor, one pop at night, one in morning (waking me up with a BJ), left at around 1 pm next day. All in all great time and great service. The girl leaves and as I'm retrospecting with my mate I realize I never tipped the girl, was so caught up into having fun that I simply forgot. Ended up going to the club that night just to tip the girl (700 as service was very good). The girl never mentioned it and was genuinely surprised I gave her anything.

Angeles BGs either want to barfine with you or don't. I don't think any bribe will help, moreover, I don't think convincing anyone will result is a good performance. There are plenty (in my book, a majority) of girls eager for the money and even eager showing their fellow BG friends they can get BF often to want to go with you without discussing anything further after the BF money.

Was sitting in Atlantis bar balcony just bought me a drink and had not been there more then a minute when the Mamasans told me I had to move seats to make room for a group of Korean [blue][Racial Epithet(s) Deleted by Admin][/blue] and there Filipina working girls. I was like got here 1st and didn't feel I should move since I was about to get company from the stage. They just kept saying reserved section reserved section. I was like where's the sign that says reserved like 3 other sections beside me did? Bigger group then they thought was the answer. I said not my fucking problem I am not moving. Koreans went and sat at table 5 ft over. Called mama again had her get me a girl from the stage bought her a drink excused myself for a second to go to the CR about 3 minutes later I return to see my girl sitting at a different table and those Korean fuckers sitting were I was. Asked to see the manager which didn't resolve anything. I paid for my drink only actually said sorry to the girl and left I really hope the Korean economy takes a fucking dump its going to be the only way to prevent the Korean takeover of AC.

It is unclear, of course, whether the bar employees took his table because they were simply trying to accommodate a large group or because Koreans generally get favored treatment in this and other bars. Keep in mind that for many decades American tourists have often been characterized as "ugly Americans. " Some of the criticism is justified, but much of it is not.

I do find a little irony in beating the drum about racism directed at Koreans. You may not have given much thought to the ways that some Korean cultural practices might come across as offensive to non-Koreans, especially in a setting like the Philippines, where, in principle, we would expect that all foreigners might be treated equitably.

I have spent time in Korea, gotten to know numerous Koreans quite well, and have studied Korean history and culture. I am struck by the ways that Korean law often excludes non-Koreans, such as Chinese, for example, from doing business in some regions or being forbidden to obtain licensure in professional fields such as medicine. You may be aware how the famous "Gangnam Style" video was intended as a humorous jab at the "superior" attitudes of people living in the high-end communities on the south side of the Han River in Seoul. To the extent that Koreans see this "superiority" attitude as real, it sometimes seems to me that it is also carried forward by the more successful Koreans who can afford sex tourism and golf vacations in the Philippines.

While I have never been in any of the AC bars, I could visualize how some visiting Korean men might project this superiority, and in so doing provoke the ire of sex tourists from other countries. I have seen Koreans at LA Cafe in Manila arrive in groups and quickly command attention from employees. Since Western mongers are more likely to arrive in singles or pairs, it's easy to understand how an arriving group of Koreans appears somewhat daunting to other lone mongers. Because Korean men invariably party this way in their own bars and karaoke joints back home, I suspect few of them have ever contemplated how this might look to Westerners who are also in pursuit of p4 ps.

I might suggest you spring for the $20 for an ISG membership, so you could benefit from private messages from those who could carry on further dialogue about this with you.

He would have never have been asked to move if he was with a group of 5. I normally travel alone, and this has happened to me a few times in Thailand.

I ask them why they prefer the Koreans. They laugh at the 3 3 3 joke. Many say it's because the Koreans are more culturally similar to them. I can understand that. Some people on this board complain bitterly that if they get into a relationship with a Pinay, they are expected to support her family. Koreans understand that cultural responsibility.

But I am curious if the popular girl who normally does not go out with White guys will accept a 2000 peso tip offer. 2000 peso is a huge tip; they only get approx 1500 of the 3000 peso barfine.

But, it was probably the waitress that did that. At Atlantis, the waitress is assigned to one group (whether 1 or 10) when that group comes in. She stays with that group, until they leave, and then she goes back in the rotation. The waitresses earn a major part of her earnings via tips. It is ridiculous how low her salary is; it is below minimum wage.

Obviously, the waitress loves any sized group that tips well and buys her ladydrinks.

But had the group he had been asked to move for been a bunch of White guys, would they have been just a bunch of "guys", or would there have been numerous choice adjectives before the "guys" ? At a spot that I frequent multiple times a week here in Thailand I was once asked to move by the American owner because a big group came in. I don't remember the race of the guys and could give a fuck less. But I did understand that I was just one person and did not mind relocating so the big group could be accomodated.

Drove to AC from Manila Yesterday. I tried to time it so it would coincide with the highly coveted SB pool party and I got to say I wasn't too impressed. Except for a few of the competitors most of the girls were down right busted (but that's my opinion).

Lucky me as I was checking in, I made eye contact with a lovely girl sitting in front of the pool. I hesitated at first thinking she was with someone but turns out she was just hanging out waiting for her friends to come compete in the show. 19 why / o, pretty decent looking but very down to earth which is a plus for me. Took her to my room for a quick inspection / make out session / chemistry test (LOL). She had to leave and promise she would be back later.

Now the pool party is raging and I'm sitting here shaking my head at how lame and how a pretty well organized rip off it is. One of the competitors approached me, pretty sexy but she really wanted me to buy her beads to increase her chances. Told her I was more interested in being with her and take her to my room than buying some freaking beads for a competition she was not going to win. At the end, she seeks me out and told me to per her BF so we can go but she was not down for rear play. So she moved on.

Later that night, went and sat at Gossip, and 30 minutes later that earlier 19 why / O come running into my arms. We went to a Karaoke bar for 2 hrs, sang, had some drinks (1800 PHP total), took her back to the room, spent the night, woke up had breakfast and on she went promising she'll come see me again.

I know this is a bit long, but wanted to give some encouragement to the doubdters. This is my first time in AC, I was discouraged at first too but I kept a positive attitude and still ended up having a decent night.

30 years ago I made a trip to Europe and found out how small America was to the rest of the world. Europeans had their own values and understanding. Like me, some Americans have a superiority and entitlement complex. We even think the Marines will come rescue us in any part of the world! I have been to Asia many times and have seen how small America is to the rest of the world.

I / we think we should be in the front of the line. I / we think our USA $$$ are so superior to other currencies. It was and still is a rude awakening for me at times. Can't shake this silent thought "I am an American" so many times in my mind.

Don't get me wrong, I am proud and grateful to be an American. But on different soil we are not entitled to be #1.

Just to let you know Grab Taxi just started in AC this month. Next month they will be adding more cars.

Example fare from Savannah Hotel to Dau bus station was 91 pesos. Grab taxis are real cars not trikes. Hopefully this is the beginning of a real taxi service at decent rates.

I got a quote to NAIA for 1500 but the driver called and said he would to double the rate as he would be coming back empty as he is not allowed to pick up in Manila. Otherwise it is great service for around AC and probably to Clark airport.

Some of the name calling was uncalled for however something has to be done about the Korean racisim in Angeles city before its to late.
