4 x4 is downtown and dicey area. Monte Carlo and the Boate's are all in Copa which, while you need to be careful at night is the big tourist Mecca.

So I see very little correlation between hours / type of venue and location.

Many attractive, FL girls want to work in a boate because that is where they will find a lot of men with money in their wallets. Yes, boate girls are independent contractors, FLs, but this fact does not prevent a boate from imposing certain work requirements on the girls if they want to work in that particular boate and thus gain access to the bordello's well off customer base.

Scandallo, for example, with the largest customer base in Brazil, will charge girls an entry fee unless they sign up for specific weekly scheduling assignments. Scan has 2 shifts: an afternoon shift and the evening shift (10 pm to closing). Girls can choose either shift they prefer, but the club will assign specific, required nights for them to be there. If a girl does not comply with the scheduling, she will have to pay the entry fee. Most girls comply because they are working girls and not superstars, but I always see a few model quality girls arriving late at night. They seem to come and go as they like because they can afford to pay the entry fee since their ask is so high. KKK. There is also an exit fee (equal to the hotel fee) which keeps most girls in the club unless they find a customer that wants to pay the fee and take them out.

I and other BM's have posted many times about meeting boate girls outside of the club. This is very doable because a girl can just call the club and tell them she isn't feeling well. This excuse will work for a few days in a row, but eventually the club will take her off schedule and she will have to start paying the entry fee again when she wants to return. My favorite boate girl falls into this category. When I am in town, for 3 to 6 weeks, she takes leave of Scandallo, and effectively becomes, my mistress while I am in town. Then after I leave SP, she gets back on Scan's schedule. BTW, she dislikes having to be there until closing time. She says it gets real boring around 3 am.

And then Solarium is in Lagoa, another more upscale part of the city which is also a bit of a haul from Copa, but not nearly as far as Barra. In my view, Solarium is a "must-see" terma. Perola Negra was also good with strong talent last time I was in Rio, but it's a [B]long[/B] way from Copa man, which as you say, is where the majority of the action is. This is why I will never choose Barra as "headquarters". But Perola Negra was worth at least one visit during my last stay. And I will return!

Solarium used to be "must-see" for me. However, the last few times I've gone there, it's been a total sausage fest in there. There's like 30 guys all sitting right next to each other shoulders touching and everything with like 20-25 girls around. And the talent level there isn't as nice as it once was either.

The place is just way too small overall. It's significantly smaller than Monte Carlo and Centaurus and probably slightly smaller than 4 x4 however 4 x4 has different floors and different stuff going on each floor so it seems more spread out at least.

Theres better places to go to than waste time at Solarium imo.

I checked out some of the 5* hotels for my dates (8/9 to 8/16) next month. The prices seem a bit too high. No? Most of these (renaissance / jw / hyatt etc.) seem to be easily $300-$400 per night plus taxes. I usually like to have a suite with a seating area just to relax with the girls / drink there before heading to the bed. The suites seem insane at $500-$600 per night or above. Is Sao Paulo supposed to be this expensive, or is it just the month of August that it becomes expensive / tourist visits?

Ended up booking the Marriott Executive apartment as it has that small apartment feel with a seating area. Though it is not high end / flashy. I might be ok with that, as I am thinking of going to some fancy motels (Lush, Asturia, or some of the other ones mentioned here in the forum) as they seem to be a nice deal I think for $100-$150 for some of the nicer suites with pools etc. Will love to take the girls there may be and then come back to my apartment and sleep. Couple of questions:

1. I think Marriott Executive apartments is supposed to be totally girl friendly and no upcharges? Seems like few reports mentioned that.

2. How do we usually book some of these love motels (lush / asturia)? Do I have to book in advance or I can just pick a girl from scandallo and take her to one and book it on the spot? I have heard that I can just show up in the driveway and choose on the computer what is available. Is that how it works?

3. What time does Scandallo close? I see on google it says 5 AM on most nights. If I am unable to pick up a girl by 4 AM in Dubai clubs, they just mostly disperse and sometimes I have to go back alone to my room (sucks! If I want to pick a girl late in the early morning I. E. Around 5 AM or even 6 AM, do girls hang out at scandallo? Any other spots you would recommend?

As to hotels: There are lots of good 4. 5 to 5* GF choices. Here are a few that I have stayed at and can recommend for various reasons: I like the Rennaissance & the Intercontinental in Jardim. The Grand Mercure Itaim Bibi, the Marriott Exec Apt in Itaim Bibi, my favorite neighborhood to stay, and the nearby W (a new Marriott that I have not been to before, but have an upcoming reservation for on my next trip. And lastly there is the JW, the Hyatt, the Hilton, the Sheraton, and the Gran Estanplaza Berrini over by the river in Morumbi, more or less. Plus, since you like Hilton, they have 2 additional hotels to consider: the Qoya Hotel Sao Paulo (Paulista Ave) and the DoubleTree (Itaim Bibi). Read more in the hotel thread and choose your poison.

I don't know anyone who pays the rack rate. But room rates fluctuate, almost weekly, and sometimes the chains offer weekend discounts or 3-to-5-night discount bookings that are much more reasonable. The main way I get around these huge rack rates is by using hotel points and annual voucher nights that I accumulate over time from various hotel chain credit cards like the Chase Marriott & Chase Hyatt. Having membership standing with these hotels can get you room upgrades at no additional cost when available. For example. On my last April visit the Intercontinental upgraded my reservation from their king bedroom to their largest 1 br suite facing the front of the hotel. I paid in points and vouchers for my 5-night stay. It was grand! And on the same trip, the Hyatt, while undergoing extensive lobby renovations, upgraded my queen bedroom reso to their 1 br suite facing the river. Again, I paid in points and vouchers for my 5-night stay. The Hyatt is my favorite hotel in SP despite the fact that the surrounding neighborhood is completely uninteresting and a touch out of the way.

That said, I like the Marriot Exec hotel. It ain't 5 star, but it is comfortable, it is girl friendly, and the location is GREAT. Unfortunately, Marriot does not accept hotel points for this property. It is cash only at all of their exec apartment hotels worldwide. I have stayed at 2 different Marriott Exec Apart Hotels in BKK and liked them both.

That would be December to March when the prices are highest. In late February during Carnival, you'll see prices spike the most.

Only 4 X4 had more clients. 4 X4 is much cheaper and I suppose more customers go to Solarium because the women are hotter.

To answer Rahuls other two questions.

Yes you can def do walk up checkin at Lush. In fact it's really the only way. Their online is good and sophisticated but requires a CPF (like a Brazilian tax payer number) and Brazilian phone number. So not really practical. But me and my bud (separate times) didn't have any problem booking at the gate and girls arriving a bit later.

And Scan closes at 5. If you can't score a girl by then something is seriously wrong and you should retire from the game. 😝 Seriously. The likelihood of finding nothing is basically zero. And if that's the case it's your issue. Really.

I think I was about halfway through my trip when you arrived, so we were seeing the same thing at Solarium. It wasn't the best talent I've ever seen there. But not nearly the worst either. When in Rio I always have to stop in on Solarium at least once to see what's cooking. But this is the Sao Paulo thread, so best to turn it back to that.

In scandallo you don't want be limited to only the english speaking garotas, yes google translate works for basic communication with garotas in scandallo, casarao & clinicas. They all know how to figure out a session without ingles but there are so many small, language hassles or silly miscommunication if limites to only using google translate. Your experience will be enhanced with a few basic phrases or having a brasilian spotify playlist handy to play music in the love motels.

Sorry I forgot to clarify. Sometimes I pick a girl around midnight for a couple of hours (that's usually the standard unit of engagement in Dubai clubs. Haha), and by the time I am done by around 2 am, I am exhausted or too tired. But around 3/4 am I realize that I should see someone else as well, so I make my way back to the club and miss out on the opportunity as they close down sharp at 4 am, and I am not a quick decision maker unfortunately. And then Dubai pretty dry during the day time (few online options).

But, seems like I should not have that problem in Sao Paulo. Thanks for clarifying on the love motels way of booking. I will just try to do that.

I will try my best to pick some basic Brazilian Portuguese. I have working knowledge of Spanish, but realize that won't be useful in Brazil.
