I'm on my way back to RIO for the second time this year. I'm thinking about MABS and I had a thought. When you leave MABS with or without a chica and you want a cab do not ever take one of the taxis that are parked on the street next to MABS the drivers are thieves. Walk a short distance to the Hilton and flag down a taxi. The girls from MABS will freely tell you to avoid those taxis.

Unfortunately, you have to adopt a different mindset in Brazil. Brazilians have a very short-term mentality of which you need to be aware. Taxi drivers waiting outside drinking and other establishments catering to gringos are looking for suckers. Walk right by them, walk to the street and flag down a moving taxi. Above all, never get into a taxi recommended by the girl. One time leaving Help a girl tried to steer me to a certain taxi. I said, no let's take this other one. The first taxi followed us and the girl admitted that it was her boyfriend and he was going to rob me. Did not turn out well for him because she was great in bed and ended up staying with me for a couple days.

If I were I would download 99 which is a competitor do uber and save some cases you can pay half the price of a standard cab.

Departing tonight back to the US.

First, Rio is safe. I was here 10 days and never had one problem. Credit card and ATMs are safe.

Never walk around after the sunset. Walk in crowded areas. Police are everywhere.

Visited 4 x 4 on Monday. 60 real special. Bogus. Line up was embarrassing. VM had better garotas.

Rio Branca 185 has been a slight letdown. A garota was a dud. Raced out after 20 minutes. Mama refunded a portion of the fee.

RB 156 was good today. Selected a slim mulatta named Lenny. Good. Also legit massage.

Delitico Oriental in Copocabana is okay. Doable ones that are fun.

Mab's is full of high school gossipy women with self inflated egos. Entertainment.

I usually do individual reviews but since this trip was different I just did a report. If anyone has any tips about how to make a subsequent trip better, I'm all ears.

So I did jack shit in research before coming down. And no, I didn't RTFF. It was a spur of the moment trip for work with my buddy, let's call him Herman. Herman knows Rio but sticks to what he knows. Also, me and Herman have vastly different taste in women.

Overall, I loved Rio. It's a great city with tons of shit to do. Had a blast hanging out doing stuff like hitting up the night life, hanging out at the beach, watching some footy. With respect to mongering, I pretty much stuck to the termas which were fun. If I was to advise someone who didn't want to do so much research or didn't have time. I'the say stick with the termas. It's a different experience than what I'm used to. Don't think I'the do it alone as it's more enjoyable with the lads.

Here's the termas I visited:

Monti Carlo- did not like the facilities and the line up wasn't to my tastes. Did not return there. They are in the Copacabana area and will likely be open when other termas are closed except on Sundays when all are closed. Even around carnival time, these guys are open.

Cancun-also in downtown area near 4 X 4. It wasn't to my liking as well in terms of line up. Girls seemed a bit aggressive as the place was kinda dead when I went. Facilities wasn't anything to write home about either. DJ sucked.

Solarium- in Ipanema 1 of 2 of the termas which in my opinion had the best facilities. No showers in rooms so you should take one before entering the room with all the girls on display. The showers were pretty decent. But it's double price of the other termas. Went there a few times cause it was close to work sometimes. More Caucasian euro looking Brazilian ladies which is my preference. I found no difference in service level. To me the extra money you pay is for the better facilities. Met up with three chics there. The 1st chic was Celine. Absolutely amazing experience. She speaks great English. She totally wasn't my type of chic physically cause she's a bit on the curvy side but very, very cute. I actually went looking for more European looking Brazilian to solarium and ended up sessioning with this olive skinned mixed girl. Go figure? Maybe it was the English she spoke? She totally looks like the cute girl next door type. There was a good vibe in the convo as she knew Herman already who was with me. Totally didn't think I'the be sessioning with her but she knew exactly which buttons to push to get me into the room. In the room prob one of the best GFE's ever. Great pregame activities and overall great service! Highly recommend Celine if you guys come across her.

What I also liked about Solarium is that the provider takes your key chain, books the room and totally handles all the paperwork for you and gets changed into "something more comfortable" and comes back to the room where you are still drinking and scoping out other providers to pick you up and take back to the room. Your not following her to a booth and filling out shit like in 4 X 4. Their minimum time slot is 40 minutes. Forgot what the price was.

The other days I went I saw Lais and Charlotte at solarium. Both kinda mechanical. Lais didn't really kiss much and rushed the BBBJ. Charlotte was mildly a better provider, both didn't speak English and perhaps that contributed, who knows? Would not repeat. Herman sessioned with Lais a while ago and said he got good service so she may be worth a go?

Solarium is 2 x the price of the other termas maybe cause it's in a classy neighborhood and facilities are def better but the quality of providers I found was equivalent to 4 x 4. You may find more euro looking girls there.

Terma 65- in downtown Rio. The facilities were amazing at this place. Didn't session with anyone as it was dead. Line up not impressive as well either. Not sure if there are showers in rooms as I didn't session. Shame they are struggling. Herman said they keep changing management. Again, the place looked immaculate and could be it just went through renovations. The other thing I liked is that you can walk in wearing just your regular cloths and no robe. I didn't understand the whole robe thing. But now after going down to Rio where it's hot as fuck I get it. You do get spiffyed up and get out of your place and into the metro to trek it down to wherever your going only to be a pool of sweat again by the time you reach your destination. Having a robe is not a bad thing. No idea if there are showers inside the rooms in T-65 though. Who cares as the general showers were top top!

4 X 4-AKA Quatro por Quatro (not sure if I spelled that correctly). Located in downtown Rio this and the other termas near by caters to people who swing by after work and want to pop a nut before heading home. 4 X4 doesn't get kicking until past 5 ish in evening and dies off around 10 ish. Thursday and Friday nights it's hopping. Facility wise it to me seemed pretty rudimentary, don't think they give a shit as it's always packed. This place in my opinion had the best line up where there was something for everyone's liking. Me and Herman have vastly different tastes and are on two opposite end of the spectrums. We were able to go each time and find something we both liked. Couldn't do that at solarium all the time or at Monti Carlo at all. Also, at 4 X4 if you get there and session before 6 your admission price is waived.

I Sessioned 3 times at 4 X 4 and 2 of the three were good. The third chic was not particularly memorable and I don't even remember her name. While your in the room with all the providers and bar the DJ was great and played amazing music. Added to the atmosphere. At Cancun the guy just ran what looked like a U2 greatest hits CD and fucked off somewhere. So for me overall, 4 X4 seemed the best for the money, atmosphere and variety and quality of girls. It would be perfect if their shower facilities were better. My advice is to take shower gel with you. No need to use the general shower as each room has one, but those are cruddy too.

My fav provider from 4 x 4 was Gabriella. Fair skinned Brazilian chic with fake double the's. I'm a natty for life guy but ohhh man she was damn pretty. Had great pair of legs and a nice toned ass. Straight long dark hair. She gave a spectacular GFE. This chic is all over you from the get go. She was starting pregame warm ups during as we were registering for the room, LOL. I highly recommend Gabriella if you come across her at 4 X4, saw her plenty when I was down in Rio and will gladly return if and when I make my way back. She speaks enough English to get by and would categorize it as basic +.

The next provider was Cindy. Very pretty, fair skinned Brazilian. Be cups for sure and great ass. Sweet girl, but not the go getter like Gabriella and speaks no English. You didn't really need it with her. Solid provider with phenomenal service, I had fun with Cindy. Would Repeat for sure and recommend Cindy if you meet her!

That's it for the termas, if anyone has any suggestions of where else I should hit up do tell.

Went to places like Mabs a lot. Most of the time it was to accompany Herman. I rarely saw anything to my liking. Their food surprisingly wasn't bad. Did end up picking up a young looking chic who ended up being a 32 yo mom, LOL! Pretty girl, gave a solid GFE for real 300. We had fun she wasn't stressed / or nit picky staying over the hour mark.

Tried Kalabria, tried Pestana hotel. Didn't find anything to my liking. Wish I researched some Indy escorts but didn't know where to do so.

The one other time I saw something to my liking at these bars was at Casablanca and the chic wanted Real 550. Was lazy and didn't get her #, but she didn't offer it either so who knows how that would went?
