Regardless, what you wrote is the procedure. Taxi / Uber to the border, get in line, wait. A suitcase on wheels won't be a problem.
In the future, if possible, fly in / out of TIJ. Much, much easier.

My flight is Sunday night at 10 pm. Are there any bathrooms near the line? If I get out of line to use the restroom, will I have to get in the back of the line?

Thanks again.[/QUOTE]Both Ticuan and pueblo are good spots- Pueblo is always $10 or $30 more a night. Both are nice hotels- the one big difference is Ticuan is much more secure- you'll have to play tricks to get a girl past the front desk (where the elevator is) while at Pueblo it's much easier- a girl can just walk to the elevator and go up. So if you want a papertrail of the girl visitors (and they check to be sure she's not a problem, age wise), then Ticuan is the better choice. Pueblo is a casino and so the floors overlook I think slots- and the bar / restaurant- and the bar / restaurant is American priced, while Ticuan is more reasonably priced.
I've thought about getting a hotel room and a room at cascadas when I was still on the fence of what I liked best but that's basically a girl a day in costs I'm not getting. Now that I am about 95% all in on escorts, I just get the hotel room and go to the bars to drink and have fun. Are you on the telegram sites? I think I have 40 groups now that I belong to for international and US mongering- but there's a lot of them for Tijuana. I read that theres an exchange place near the border.[/QUOTE]Most of the businesses will take US dollars but give you pesos back- their calculations are back of envelope, so it's easier if you just do pesos on the street / stores- but the adult bars are priced to the dollar- so dollars is easier with the bars. There might be some advantage in using pesos with girls because it's increased in value in the last month but the girls know how to use their calculator on the phone and know the rate generally- the exception are the street girls- they upcharge massively if you use dollars.
Get the app "Currencyxt" - it updates the current rates and you can do easy calculations on it.
There's a few places to exchange at the border along the road to the line. There's two in the immediate vicinity of the entrance to the border and one across the street from the jack in the box that usually gives me a slightly better rate. Someone said that they were required to fill out a form once when they exchanged $1,000, which I do, so I do $900 across from Jack in box and the rest closer to the border line. There's also places in Tijuana too but I've never done it.
People here suggest getting a schwab account- use the card to pull pesos or whatever is the local exchange they use. They reimburse you for any fees from atms and they give better rates. I just applied for it as exchanging $1300 at the border, getting a taxi to a hotel or the bars. Too many opportunities to get robbed- never happened (yet). But it's nerve wracking.

But I have been crossing by car for years now, and things may very well have changed. Usually they charge 10 pesos, or so, to use the facilities. Just tell the guy behind you that you're going to the can and you'll be right back. Then find him and take your place in line. That used to work for me.

That used to work for me.[/QUOTE]Yes, the restroom is by the line on the Mexican side (10 pesos.) The next one is in the border building on the US side after passport control. (on the right side, free). Another one is inside McDonald's across the street (50 cents). This is a problem if you wait 3-4 hours in a car at the border. Mexicans sell empty bottles for $1 or $2 and you can pee in the car. On Sunday afternoon, allow yourself about 2 hours for the line to the border. The line looks awfully long but it moves because they let about 50 people into the building every 10-15 minutes.
They come in very handy when you get older. Rip them off once you cross the line in a bathroom stall. Problem Solved.

BBBJ, MSOG), but their looks can be hit or miss compared to their pictures.
