I am from the neighbor contry (india) and arrived Colombo yesterday for a work assignment. Colombo is a wonderful city and I must say that I admire it already for its people. Be it for the traffic sense, respect for others and I do not feel a language barrier as many can communicate to basic level in english. The women here are exquisite as well. I have spent the last year trying to land a job in Asia in order to be closer to the fun and to start saving money on airfares as the US to Asia really-really sucks during peak seasons and the flight is brutal. My entire p4 p experiences have always been in the Philippines (No Thailand yet). Several weeks ago an offer came through for me to go to Sri Lanka and I took it because of the pay and the proximity to fun.
