Given that many of the girls' English is a little sketchy, it's interesting that they are able to distinguish when we're joking from when we're serious--some of the time. But it's also fun to watch them as they hesitate in indecision when they're uncertain what is joking and what is serious. Or maybe this is really about the nature of straight-faced Anglo humor(?)

I arrived in PI on Tues. Dec. 6. My flight arrived at NAIA, but I bypassed Manila and went straight to Angeles. The transport from NAIA to Angeles was arranged by my hotel, Central Park Tower for 2700 php. Next trip I'll use the Victory Liner bus from Pasay terminal for 200 php.

My brother arrived the previous day and was waiting for me in Angeles. Our plan was to focus on High Society; however, it was too early to visit HiSo at 8 pm. We went bar hopping to Lollipop and Rhapsody, but didn't see anything worth barfining. We got to High Society very early (1130-midnight). He found a girl he liked, and I took her friend. The friend wasn't great looking, but I was travel fatigued and didn't want to wait any longer.

As I expected, the friend asked me the litany of questions, "Was this my first time in the Philippines? "How long am I staying? I gave evasive answers or lied. We made it back to my hotel room and did the deed. Her performance was not spectacular, but was definitely adequate. After a long travel day, I just wanted to bang and get some sleep. I didn't ask her to stay because she wasn't excessively attractive. I gave her 1500 php, and she complained that she wanted 3000 php. I didn't budge. I'm used to dealing with Dominican hookers in Sosua, and this pinay's protest were mild in comparison to tantrums that I've seen before. During the first night in Olongapo, I visited Cheap Charlie's, Voodoo Bar, and Crazy Horse. Cheap Charlie's is a claustrophobic upstairs bar. The girls have engaging personalities and seem ready to barfine, but none caught my eye. The bar seems to select only waifishly thin girls. Voodoo Bar is high energy, but low on quality. Crazy Horse only has a dozen or so girls, but I saw a girl that I really liked there. And she made me aware that she would be happy to allow me to bar fine her (2000 php).

Dollhouse knows how to entertain. It was very high energy. There was a costume show and some pole dancing routines. I chose an eighteen year old beauty with a nice ass named Cherry Anne. Bar fine was 3000 php. It was early so we hit a few more bars and had dinner. I stayed out with her for a few hours before taking her to the room. She didn't disappoint in the bed. She gave me three pops; however, she had some excuse for why she couldn't do long-time. I wasn't sure if she was telling the truth, but I didn't want to keep if she wanted to go, and I was thoroughly satisfied already. I took her WhatsApp, escorted her to the door, and passed out.

[/QUOTE]The advice that I received from a long time PI punter was not to ask. At HiSo, girls should cost 1000 php or 1500 php. Asking only gives away that one is new to the scene.

In this situation, if I had asked she would've thought I was newbie and quoted 3000 php. By not asking, I only paid 1500 php.

I attempted to secure some early action on Tinder and WeChat, but was unsuccessful. I went on the prowl around 1800, starting at Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace was putting on a dance competition with dancers from all the Dollhouse bars: Tropix, Club Asia, Club Atlantis, Dollhouse, etc. They offered 3 drinks for 200 php, bead necklaces to give to the best dancers, and a raffle ticket with each drink for a chance to win prizes. The top prize was a half price bar fine. Additionally, it was happy hour: lady drinks were 125 php instead of 250 php. The nice thing about the show was seeing a sample of the girls from each bar, all in one place. I spotted a tall, long-legged, tan skin dancer from Dollhouse named Mocha and called her over. When she mentioned seeing me at Dollhouse the previous night, I knew she would bar fine. However, she strictly refused long-time service, and so I passed and left.

I continued on to Club Atlantic, Q-bar, and Club Asia. In Club Asia, there were about a dozen girls on the stage. Their dance was choreographed by a video on a screen facing the stage. There are ways to do this without necessarily showing that you are a newbie.

You already said in a previous post how you had a dispute with a girl who wanted 3000 php and you gave her 1500 php only (You based this on some previous experience that you had in Sosua, DR). You should sort out the cost before you leave the bar or the disco. It's not worth the risk, and you don't know what the girl will do after she leaves your room.

There is no set price for freelancers they range from free to thousands of pesos so getting the price sorted is what every seasoned Phills monger does first, why, because they know of how easily things can go downhill when arguing about money with pinays, were you very lucky to get away with not being set up for a big pay day between the girl and the police, I would say very lucky indeed.

Best advice is read Red Kilts 1st hand experience of which his friend paid the police but got off very lightly IMHO, many others have not been so lucky.

Nice road reports K Constant. Your efforts are much appreciated. I have to agree that it is best to arrange a price before leaving with the girl from High Society. Also, if barfining a girl, it is important that your needs and expectations are made perfectly clear to the girl. This should prevent any misunderstandings and disappointments. The pinays are not like the DR putas who are often out to rip you off. They need to be treated differently. One way to save pesos is to meet the bar girls outside of her working hours. That way you can save some money and many girls are willing to take your number or give theirs. I have done it a few times, however, you need to do it discretely. Keep up the great reporting.
