On mail you can ask for special Preference stating you need interconnected rooms like you ask for non smoking or King size bed. Try and check in around 2 PM so most of rooms are available. You can ask in reception and tell them they are same company or family. Say if it's not there you won't book. I have done this in Park Hayat when I was travelling to Chennai. Since accommodation was company booked I did not want to take a risk. Booked a Adjucant room with interconnection and went to chicks room to do. I got 2 chicks in one for first 8 hours and second after that for balance as I did not have capacity for two at a time. I stayed in the hotel so booked the second room directly in reception and requested them for a interconnected room.
