To Thai tastes, anyway (we're all different, if you like 30+ Buriram jungle bunny looks, maybe not).

As for why they work there, multiple factors, as always. Sukhumwit has become not so great for freelancers, with a huge percentage of Arabs and Africans in the area. These girls apparently don't want to work in a bar. Many may not speak English, feel comfortable / safe around Farang / Arabs / Africans, or comfortable doing things foreigners expect (a long-ish GFE session, instead of a quick 15 min shag). On pure economic side, ones in demand can get 3-10x500 = 1500-5000 per day out in the cheap Thai area, it's a low-cost high-volume deal. Ultimately, I suspect for many it's just familiarity / confort. Most Thais are not particularly business-minded or having initiative, they just stick with what they know.
