There is 1 just south of the corner of Fields and MacArthur, it's 100 meters down the rd on the 2nd floor. Just ask someone on the street to point it out. No Air Conditioner and minimal stuff but it works OK just to keep muscles exercised.

It's my first time flying to the Phils. Been to Thailand a few times so.
I'll be flying from SFO to Manila via PAL. My flight is at 10: 30 at night. The reservations agent said to be there 3. 5 hours ahead of time. Is that really necessary?
Also, they are telling me for my domestic flight from Manila to Cebu on Nov. 1 to be there 2. 5 hours ahead of time. Is this correct, also?
I don't mind being to the airport, early. In fact, I prefer it. But especially the 3. 5 hours at SFO seems a bit excessive.
Anyone have good advice for me?

I would certainly agree that you should be at check in for cebu Pacific well before departure time.
The reason is that if the plane is full, and there are more customers screaming for tickets, and are prpared to pay some tea money, they will sell your ticket.
No matter that you had a reservation.
This happened to me flying from bacolod. The lady and I decided for one last screamer of a fuck, and I was late. Got to the airport 1 hour before departure. Door to cebu pacific office barred by a guard. The fact that I had a reservation was immaterial.
lots of fast smooth talking got me inside the office, and more joking and smooth talk got me one of the hosties jump seats on the plane. barely made it.
So get there in plenty of time.

It's no secret that prescription drugs are ridiculously expensive in the Philippines, particularly in Mercury Drug. So its good to report that there is a newish kid on the block that breaks the cartel and charges reasonable prices for pharmaceuticals. This is the Generic Pharmacy and as their name suggests their drugs are all generic, either imported or locally made, but always genuine and approved by the Philippines Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD). They have branches everywhere. Average prices are very low. For example Doxycycline antibiotics are 2 pesos a tablet and Ibuprofen is 1.5 pesos. Don’t know if they do Cialis or Viagra. Better still they will deliver for a minimum purchase (about 1,000 pesos).
They are expanding fast (they are a franchise) and have branches everywhere. In Malate there is one on Pedro Gil corner of Agoncillo. Delivery hotline is 7323333 or 7315555. GH

Well you would think that given the many trips I have taken to Phil I would know this answer but I do not. As we all know Cealis is wildly peddled on the street. I never have bought for I would never injest something from what may be something I not want to begin with. So my question. I know that Ceailis and viagra can be bought in the pharmacies there in in ac or manila. Do you need a precription to get them? Are they over the counter? Do I need to see the local Doc to get presciption. Thanks for any help on this.

Last week in Makati I realized I had forgotten my Cialis at home. Mercury Pharmacy near City Garden Makati hotel definitely wanted a prescription and I expect all pharmacies will. I got a prescription by asking the pharmacist where to find a doc. Big medial center within walking distance at 5 pm got me in and out in 15 minutes with a bp check and a chat with a real doctor. He gave me a rx for 10 boxes...(20 tabs)
I only bought 5 boxes for 7500 pesos, so it's not cheap in the pharmacy. The doc visit only cost 300 pesos total. You can buy on the street for 500 pesos or less per box...but i have no idea if it's real.
Now if you go to the viagra section of the forum you will see some interesting followups to my post above. I'm now in my last night in Ermita and am considering returning to the doc for a refill. It just slays me that I forgot to bring my stockpile of Cialis on this trip.
Myself and others hsve confirmed that bar /street sellers have stuff that works.
There have also been some good reports in the past on Chinese herbal med. - and recent science reports seem to confirm same --
