In my opinion it is not worth it.

To save money you could buy a SD monthly bus/trolley pass and then take the coaster from North SD county. Oceanside, Solana Beach, Carlsbad ,etc. The coaster runs into the SD trolley to TJ. No parking and gas will probably be cut in half.

The pass will cost you around ($60 for a month) which is a savings if you go down regularly.

If you find a regular chica, which is easy if you go down all the time, then you pay less, too. (some guys like variety, I know)

Right now you can get a hotel in SD for $60-$70. So staying overnight is affordable ,too. This way you can get a lot of action out of you system over two days before heading back to LA.

Don't bother with TJ beaches. If you must go to a beach, Rosarito would be a better choice. Haven't been to Ensenada in a long time, but the beaches were crap then.

If the only thing you want is 30 min of P4P sex, you are probably right, although I agree with others that the fear of being caught is a deterrent to me.
However, what I look for in TJ is more than just a 30 min F & S.
I go there to hang around, walk the alley and watch/talk to the girls, spend time in HK club, fondling titties and more for 1 $, getting a wonderful legit massage at Viva mex for 25 $ to recover between sessions, and, yes, after careful selection, go "arriba" for 60. All together, I spend around 200, but for that I have a full day of entertainement, and 1 or maybe 2 full sessions.

Don't know about pics, never asked. doubt very much that YOU can take pics yourelf in the club, although theere are guys taking polarpoids, and trying to sell it to you.

I agree, I never understood why on earth a monger would buy such a pic.. Just to make sure his wife knows??
Having said that, this is big business in Japan. In any strip club, after her performance, the dancer willl come on stage with the polaroid and asks spectators to take picture. Cost per picture is 500 yens. You can ask any psition, wide open, whatever, with you or without. There is always a line to take the picture, to the point that the show timings allows 10 minutes between girls for picture taking. The girl then delivers the picture to the guy and sign it.. I guess there is a market for that!!

Can one of you guys tell me if coming down to Tj on a wednesday without a hotel reservation is ok ? I know during the summer months places get full on the weekend. I'd like to do something impromptu.

Tourism is down in TJ. You'll find a hotel even on a Holiday weekend. Wednesday should be no problem.

The silver bracelets that I purchased at a bargain price have passed the "is not attracted to a magnet" test, for whatever that is worth.

Inlaid with turquoise and coral they do look nice.
