I was considering it for upcoming next trip, but the rooms seem a little small and the Marriott web page did not have photos of the pool (never a good sign), so I chose the W instead even though it costs substantially more Marriott points. The W just looked a lot nicer.

P.S. I like the location of the Weston and I have stayed many times at the nearby Grand Mercure SP Itaim Bibi and the Marriott Exec Apartment Hotel. I hope this helps.

I'll report back what I experience. So it seems everyone says Tuesday to Thursday are busiest days in clubs. Why is it more busy during these days than say Friday and Saturday like in America? Also would going to Bomboa or Gaugin or something similar on a Monday be a bad idea because they are already smaller clubs so less girls to choose from?

If have never been before then Monday at any of the clubs is going to be fine. It's still great by worldwide standards. But if u have already been to scan then yes you will be disappointed. There's a reason it's the biggest and the best.

Ps when are u in sp?

I was thinking of visiting for New Years. Places like Scandallo. Is New Years a good time? Or no?

Friday and Saturday are more for the younger single guys.

Even the independent that you get on the internet sites lot's go back home for Christmas and start working after new year or get hired for new years eve.

I did Rio more a end of the year location, had a couple girls before end of the year and hired one of my Sao Paulo girls for the new years eve up to my trip back to Sao Paulo.

Will be in SP next week. Will be at Scandallo Tuesday most likely.

Most of my trips are week-long, so I prefer places with more selection to increase my odds of finding one I like. I am typically interested in 10-15% of the available girls at any place. This translates to less than half a dozen girls to choose from at Bamboa. Then, factoring in that some of them might be unavailable (occupied with other men or in the room), I will be left with very slim pickings. I rather go to a candy store like Scandallo or Casarao 😁.

I'm not opposed to tipping, but I don't like being targeted as a foreigner and being pestered for it. I do reward good service from time to time, which I do at Scandallo and other places.

Which one is better in terms of quality of the rooms, service, neighborhood and safety?

I usually stay in Moema or Jardim Paulista. Just want to try new ones.

PS: I have read some of the post about Pullman and Grand Mercure SP Itaim Bibi. Just curious how they compare to each other, and which one would one choose.

My fave in that part of the city by far is Mercure Ibirapuera Privilege. Like all Mercures I've stayed at it's girl friendly. But best feature is the restaurant on the first level. Lovely outdoor tables for cocktails w your girl. Really good sushi just a block away. One of my faves in the Moema area.

At Scandallo (Tuesday through Thursday night) this means I can always rely on their being at least 15 to 20 girls that look really good to me. Really Good to Me! At Bomboa (Tuesday through Thursday night) this means I can usually count on only 3 or 4 girls that look good to me and on occasion I might meet a real looker. That is a big difference, but on a 6-week trip I can afford to and want to go fishing in different ponds occasionally and I set my sights accordingly. If I were on a 1-week visit I would stick with Scandallo and with seeing a couple of my Scandallo favorite repeat girls at my hotel.

I like the variety of girls found in Casarao too. A different sample set of SP girls seem go to Casarao vs Bomboa vs Scandallo. My main issue with Casarao is the lateness of that scene (midnight and later), so I usually only go there after I have said good night to my prime-time girl and don't want to call it a night. Many is the time I have left Bomboa (happy) and headed to Casarao for a 2nd girl. This does not usually happen when I am at Scandallo because after Scan girl #1, the quality of chicks seems to have gotten even better around midnight, so why leave when I am on a hot streak. KKK. I really dig those Scandallo 2-fer nights.

I stayed at the Mercure Ibirapuera Privilege the first time I went to Sao Paulo and hated it. Didn't like my room (drafty with poor climate control, safe didn't work but they brought another one, horrible internet connectivity), terrible customer service (including room service), the restaurant environment was OK but didn't like the food, dumb asshole taxi drivers out front who couldn't seem to follow simple directions. Maybe it was just a bad one off, but I never gave them another chance after that. Discovered the Mercure Times Square on subsequent trips. Also in Moema, but even better situated if you ask me. Quiet (important given the air traffic in the area) but no restaurant, which I don't care about since there are plenty of places around to eat (including grocery stores) in easy walking distance. Also only a short walk to a big Bradesco branch and the Ibirapuera Shopping Mall just a little further away. Even found a nearby barbershop. The last time in Sampa, I stayed at the Wyndham in Moema. Never again as the air traffic noise was too constant and loud! For my next trip, I'm looking to move out of Moema altogether for a different experience.
