Some comments and observations on the hotels in Lalabo's post plus some others
Which one is better in terms of quality of the rooms, service, neighborhood and safety?
I usually stay in Moema or Jardim Paulista. Just want to try new ones.
PS: I have read some of the post about Pullman and Grand Mercure SP Itaim Bibi. Just curious how they compare to each other, and which one would one choose.
I have stayed (many times) at the Grand Mercure SP Itaim Bibi, and I have thought about staying at the Grand Mercure Sao Paulo Ibirapuera but never did. The Pullman does not interest me much because it seems a little pricey for what they offer, and the swimming pool does not look great to me. But it is probably a good hotel.
I like the Grand Mercure SP Itaim Bibi for its location, and that all the rooms are a good size and have balconies. The informal roof top pool is fine. The hotel is super guest friendly, and they serve pretty good buffet breakfasts. In fact their fresh mangos taste better (tree ripened) than those I have had in the Renaissance. No room service at night, however. You can also log into a Netflix or Prime account for entertainment. The only negative is that, as time goes by, this hotel is becoming more expensive although I still like it and will undoubtedly stay there again at some point.
The Grand Mercure Sao Paulo Ibirapuera looks good to me, but most rooms do not have balconies and therefore one has to pay up to get one. Therefore, for me, this is not an inexpensive hotel, but I will probably stay there anyway at some point.
Similar in terms of pricing to the Grand Mercure SP Itaim Bibi, although the setup is entirely different, is the Marriott Exec Apartment Hotel. It is not a real 5-star hotel, but it's one-bedroom suites are very comfortable, and they all come with balconies, a refrigerator / freezer, a dishwasher, and a microwave. Another plus is its charming neighborhood location 3 blocks from the Ibirapuera parque and close to a pretty good medium priced steak restaurant and a more expensive Michelin guide sushi restaurant as well as a bunch of small little boutiques and other restaurants scattered around nearby. (And 2 blocks from Bomboa, KKK). Another big plus is the very convenient ATM machine located in the back of the lobby and easy Uber drives to the clinicas in the south and Scandallo to the north. The only downside is No room service.
On a more budget friendly level I have stayed at the Clarion Hotel Faria Lima a couple of times and IMHO it is pretty good with a great Itaim Bibi location (so many great restaurants to choose from)! All the rooms have balconies and a good amount of living space. The only negative is there is no room service at night and there is no outdoor pool.
Lastly, I am booked for 5 nights at the Melia Jardim Europa on my next trip. I got a good rate from Capital One on points and my upgraded room has a balcony. I have never stayed at this hotel before but think I will like it on account of its great location within easy walking distance to many great Itaim Bibi restaurants and that it is located halfway between the clinicas and Scandallo. The pool looks ok too. I will post a review after I stay there.
W Vs. Renaissnce and Marriott Exec Question
Thanks for this great feedback. And for the response on the Westin. Looks interesting but hesitant to book with it being so new.
I stayed at the Renaissance my first time. Loved it and my points covered the entire room stay. The location to action, general hotel atmosphere was really nice.
For my second trip, debating if I stay at the Renaissance again (if it it ain't broke don't fix it). But also weighing if I use my newly built up points to try the W. What do you think?
Also willing to spend the $ on the Marriott Exec apartments as the space looks very appealing. You hit my one concern, no room service. Are late night food delivery options a thing if you have hungry (literally and metaphorically) girls in your room?

Scandallos show UFC on Saturday nights?
Hi. One of my favoirte things to do is camp out up at a bar, watch ufc fights all night. Gamble a litlle bit from my phone, and eat good food and drink in good company.
Does Scandellos typically play the fights. Either PPV, or regular fight nights? There's usually a fight every weekend at this point.
If they don't, any other suggestions in Sao Paulo? Can be a regular sports bar too.
Double shots on goal gulpers
I went out to Casarao and hooked up with a 19-year-old blonde Branca. Plenty of 19 yr to 21 year old garotas in casarao of all backgrounds. "Keli" seemed new to Casarao. We grabbed drinks from next door. Shit fucking cold last night. I had to wait 30 minutes for the larger room number 8 with the stripper pool. Well worth the wait. We agreed on 400 brl for an hour. How can a young sexy garota be a pro dick sucker? In the room, she drops to her knees swallowing all the manhood in her mouth. She didn't let up until I popped the leche in her throat, damn she swallowed it all. I showered and went back on the hunt. I spotted a fucking tall, Amazonian frosted blonde beauty, standing at the back wall next to the stairs. Swaying to music. I think the music upstairs sucks but the garotas like it. She is a curvy, tall blonde models you see in Europe or Dubai that pose on yachts, expensive car and shit on instagram. Nobody was talking to her fine ass. So I did. We had a great conversation over whiskey. I finally threw out my casarao starting number of 350 brl for one hour. She stuck to 500 brl. I responded 450 brl because we will get the bigger room. She agreed. We enter room 2. Open the room door, up the stairs and she starts the Same routine as the other garota. No need for a shower she immediately drops to her knees to start slurping away before I can get any clothes off. Kkk. I did a quick solid leche on her tongue, she licked her lips wanting more. She never did stop, never rested not once to rest, nope she was determined to get that second leche in her mouth and swallow. Damn, this tall fine ass blonde model was determined to get the second shot out of me. I obliged with one last solid thick leche deep in her mouth, and a few shakes on her pretty face. Shit Never occurred to me some garotas want two shots on goal too!! Kkkkk it was already 5 am time to uber back to the moema pad. She had kids to take to school and will meet up at my place for a daytime round.
