Angeles City

Though this isn't quite a trip report, I'm hoping that my opinions end up helping newbies decide whether they want to come to AC and what to do while here. I'll break it down by topics.

1. Is it worth my time coming to AC?

This obviously depends on where you're from and what you're trying to do. A little bit of background: I live in the west coast USA. I have a full time corporate job with not a lot of vacation days, so I don't expect to travel much to AC throughout my life. It also takes 17 hours to get here, and that would be longer if you're on the east coast. Given how long it takes for me to come, I decided to stay in AC for 2 weeks. Although I already learned from my first trip that after day 4, it gets pretty boring, I still couldn't bring myself to come for only 4 or 5 days at a cost of having to spend 2 days on the plane. In my opinion, if you're a casual hobbyist traveling from North America, your best option is to make AC a side trip on a tour of East / SE Asia. Simply put, 4 days and less isn't worth the travel directly from NA and anything longer leaves you with very little to do. Even the nights can be a little monotonous because the girls have very limited English skills and your conversations with them will get repetitive real quick.

I found the people who enjoyed AC the most are, first, those who make this place a side trip from visiting Pattaya or wherever else in Asia, and second, those who make a living here or come here frequently. If a person is in the second category, the AC entertainment district is a great place to relax and have fun once a week or two and that probably won't get old. Or they can spend time developing more intimate relationships with working and non-working girls. BD is someone who falls into the second category. He generously showed me how he handles his contacts and told me about how his meetings with his girls generally go. I feel that the casual tourist experience is far less fulfilling than what he gets to enjoy.

In summary, as a casual hobbyist from North America, my 2 trips have shown me that it's not worth it to come to Asia just for Angeles City.

2. WeChat.

In my first trip I found that I enjoyed the freelancer experience more than the bars, which is why I wanted to try WeChat's People Nearby function as a means of finding FLs. If you're going this route, I have a couple of tips.

A) put up a real photo of yourself on WeChat. I had an avatar on my WeChat profile for the first few days and I found a lot of girls weren't responding back. I know now that they're just trying to avoid the Filipino guys who are also contacting them this way.

B) unless you're absolutely sure, ask if the girl is actually a ladyboy. There are tons of ladyboys on WeChat and while some are pretty obvious, a lot of them have pictures that look very feminine. But usually if the "girl" doesn't show a picture of her cleavage in her moments, it's likely a dude.

C) meet the girls in the hotel lobby first before bringing them up. I've had an experience where the a girl looked fine online, but when I saw her in person, it became clear that she took all her photos at an angle to hide her chubby face and body. It took a call to hotel security and 500 p to get her to go away.

D) many girls start by charging 3 k for ST but you can negotiate that down. Some won't budge, but that's their problem. I guess enough newbies are willing to pay those fees. I wouldn't pay more than 2 k since you can find plenty of takers in HiSo and walking street for 1.5-2 k.

E) don't be shy about what you want on WeChat. In my greeting I just ask "Hi are you a working girl. " This is because some girls are not doing P4P, so if you're just trying to find a girl for money, you can avoid wasting time talking with the non WGs. Obviously if you want to charm up some non-WGs, you can just greet them normally. For me I just didn't have the time to waste on non-productive leads.

Overall I found WeChat to be an OK source of girls but not the best. On average the girls are slightly older and worse looking than the ones you find in HiSo or walking around the street. If the girl ends up looking different from her photos or refuses the "normal" FL rates, it can be a waste of time as well.

3. Street girls.

FLs are my preferred source of action in AC as I mentioned in my report from a year ago. My preferred FLs are the ones on walking street around 10 pm-2 am. Since you're face to face with these girls you get a good look at their face and body, which is a lot better than looking at photos on WeChat. Also you won't have to go through the bullshit of calling down a girl, chatting her up, buying her a drink and later finding out you guys have no chemistry or she simply doesn't want to barfine. I had this experience several times on my first trip and it also happened to 2 punter friends who I barhopped with this time (thankfully I wasted my time only once as I'll explain later). The street girls are there to make money. That means they'll pretty much take anyone who's interested, and the girls are in no way worse looking and plenty good in bed as any girl in a bar (or often better). If you look at it from that angle, even High Society is a bit worse because some of the HiSo girls aren't there to go home with guys. A lot of them are also not professional hookers, so sometimes you get to experience a normal Filipina or one who's relatively new to the trade. One girl I met told me she hadn't had sex in 2 years and came here from Tarlac just so she can make exactly 2500 to pay off her rent. I met her twice for 3 k.

I also met WGs at super random places like the outdoor clothes market near the Ministop and another near a shoe store.

4. HiSo.

HiSo somehow wasn't as productive this time around as it was last time. The times I went there I felt the guy to girl ratio was higher than before and a lot of girls were just to dance and have fun. I'm sure if you worked on them for an hour or so, some of them might go back with you. I think the best time to go is a bit after 2 am since the girls who go in there to have fun before finding a customer are at the "find a customer" stage by 2:30 or so. If you like dancing with hot girls, then go between 1 and 2, which can also be pretty fun if you're in the mood. If you're looking to talk to or dance with a girl on the dance floor though, it helps to go with a friend to break up pairs who are dancing with each other. Then you can chat them up individually. The girls, who usually do come in pairs or more, don't like to abandon their friends. I did have one rejection and one mediocre experience at HiSo where I didn't notice the belly on girl before I took her back. She had a baby pocket and a really loose pussy, which wasn't enjoyable at all.

5. Massage girls.

This was another surprisingly good source of girls on this trip. On my first trip I noticed the massage girls handing out business cards and I never took one because I wasn't interested in a regular massage. But from my hotel to walking street, I kept walking by a group of young pretty girls after 8 pm and I just decided what the heck and asked them what they're doing. Then we got to the subject of whether they go to customers hotels for full service, and not so surprisingly, some of them said yes. Not all of them will do it though, but if you're interested in a hottie, just ask. But ask a bit discreetly because some of them are embarrassed to say it in front of their coworkers. I've had 2 girls this way and got a third one's number but didn't call her.

6. Bar interviews.

In my report from last year I went over my bar interview method which is intended to avoid the cases where the girl cannot or does not barfine. I refined it a little more this time around which helped to reduce failures to just one (because I forgot to use it). It's not rocket science, but a lot of newbies when they first come, myself included, are pressured to buying drinks for themselves and for the girl before finding out whether they'll get anything from the bar. Or they go for whatever hot girl they see without first judging her interest. Now what I do is I just go in, get up close to the girls where you can see them and they can interact with you, ideally in front of a girl you like. If they come and grab you or play with you, then you know they're interested. If there are no interesting girls, just leave. By this time a waitress is probably asking you whether you want a drink. Tell her to give you a minute. If you're in a big show bar like Atlantis, you kinda skip these steps and just pick a girl to come to your table. Otherwise, in a smaller bar, now is the time to get the girl to sit down next to you. After a few initial questions, just ask, "can you barfine today". If she's on men's or simply not interested, you'll know without having to pay for anything. The girl knows whether she'll go with you or not within the first 20 seconds of seeing you so just get that out of the way. After that, do whatever, buy her and yourself a drink, have a conversation, play with her ass, etc. If you're cheap, when the waitress asks if you want to buy the girl a drink, say "single". Otherwise it's a DLD for sure. I don't think they mind a whole lot tbh. I barfined 5 times this trip, intentionally trying to not rely on them too much, but they can be enjoyable as well, especially if you learn to avoid the bad apples.

Just a couple of comments if I may.

Have to fully agree that Angeles city is best seen as part of an Asian multiple destination trip and agree that to fly half way around the world just for Angeles would leave most punters disappointed and bored after just a couple of days.

The problem with trying to barfine ac girls without buying drinks is problematic at best, the whole bar scene has been devised in such a way that most are forced into buying at least 1 drink if one wants to talk to a girl, I would also say that most attractive in demand girls will be reluctant to leave with a guy who looks like a cheap charlie and won't spend on at least 1 drink for her, she will be thinking if he won't buy a drink he is probably not going to tip after sex either.

The bigger bars on fields avenue I really cannot see how one can get to speak to a girl without buying a drink to do so, the reason for this is the girls are far from the punters on stage, to get a girls attention a waitress needs to point a laser at the girl to come down, the waitress is standing right next to punter so as soon as the girl arrives the first thing the waitress says is this gentleman wants to buy you a drink, what drink do you want, followed by sir what can I get you to drink, it is designed specifically that way to only enable guys to speak to girls if one is willing to spend a little, refuse to buy a drink and for most girls a double lady drink and she will immediate return to the stage, no ifs or buts, most bars have very few attractive girls, these girls are in extremely high demand, many guys are willing to buy them many drinks many without even asking to barfine them (Koreans) why would a girl waste her time sitting with guys that won't buy drinks when many other are willing to buy many drinks.

The second problem is that many girls can promise the world to a punter in the bar, get him to relax and start to enjoy, buy a few drinks for his intended, when the time comes to leave together the girl simply says I go change OK, only to come back few minutes later with a sad face and say, sorry honey, I just start my period, I see blood when I go get changed, sorry, maybe another time, the girl may or may not be on her period, many Angeles girls claim to have their period for the whole time they work in Angeles allowing them to earn very well from high commissions from lady drinks bought by punters she has no intentions of leaving with.

I always invest in just the 1 drink for the girl, many times they have excuses, on occasion one strikes lucky, its part of the Angeles city game, want easy high strike rates with bargirls then other nearby countries have many more willing girls because the bar scene is designed that girls have to fuck for a living, not true for the better looking girls of Angeles city IMHO.

A young sailor, just out of high school and just barely 18, he endured a traumatic experience that he barely survived and changed his life forever. He was a happy fellow rarely complained about anything, and even rarer did he talk about the war. Except to mention humorous topics. That said, anybody have any knowledge of any maritime tours of Leyte Gulf?

I might actually get family to subsidize it, though I won't want them to come along for obvious reasons.

Certainly for a newbie. I have been able to avoid this as over the many years I have established friendships with long term waitresses. It can really pay off. I get the info on any girl I am interested in BF'ing. My waitress friend tells the girl she has known me for years and I am 'such a nice guy, single with no kids' (LOL) and she has to' stay all night and have breakfast in the morning'. Before buying a LD, 99% of the time the girl agrees. (Oh. Just a short story for any new mongers here on how things have changed. On my first visit to AC in the 2003, I checked into the Orchid Inn. As I walked to my room I noticed a topless pinay getting her picture taken in front of a flowering tree. As I glanced to the pool, I see 3 cutes swimming topless. WOW. Was this place great. The next day there was a pool party. There were about 15 girls in harem outfits working the large crowd selling raffle tickets (50 P each) for blow jobs or short time. At the end of the entertainment each girl got on stage and the Emcee pulled a ticket out of her jar announcing the winner. The winning monger walked on stage to take the hand of the girl and leave with his prize. Then at the clubs there were the upstairs shower shows, girls squatting on beer bottles for 20 P, topless lap dances. And for some of us partying with JimmyReg.

I will close saying I still have a great time in AC and think it is the 'best bang for the buck'. Pun intended.

In the larger bars and especially the ones that are owned by groups that own many bars that employ hundreds of girls spread over many bars which revolve their staff almost daily then most waitresses will probably not even have met most of the girls she works with that night so can offer very little truthful help.

Even if the waitress knows all the girls she has no power over who the girl chooses, she might say kind words but if the bargirl does not find one attractive, does not feel well, does not get a good vibe, wants st when the punter wants LT etc then no amount of introduction will seal the deal IMHO.

Know many bar owners, know many mamasans, know many waitresses, I never ask their opinion as most times I find they will tell one what one wants to hear, If one wants the very best girls that Angeles has to offer as I do then it is a very uphill struggle through lots of bullshit to end up with what one wants, as for Angeles offering the best bang for buck sorry I would rather call other Asian destinations that offer far prettier girls that all fuck with no excuses the best bang for buck IMHO.

Just a clarification guys, I always buy LDs for barfines, but my method is to ask if they barfine before buying them the LD. It takes about half a minute to get to that question, so you can avoid buying yourself a drink for the time being. Since you're buying her and yourself a drink before you leave, there's no reason for her to think you're cheap. I've also luckily never ran into girls who lied about being able to BF. Too good for me I suppose.

Regarding the show bars, yes you don't have a chance to interact with the girls before you pick her. But the method is still the same as I mentioned. You get the waitress to flag over a girl and ask the BF question (within half a minute of her sitting down) before buying anything for her. It works for me, so I think it's worth a try.

After a nonproductive afternoon with a bar girl on a fishing expedition for a sponsor (can you find one that is not), I tried to find a new (for me) angle to the last days of my trip. Thinking of maximizing the quality instead of quantity I thought of the second night I had spent in town and the spinner from Ponytails with fond memories. I texted her to ask if she was working and went to pick her up from the bar. I ended up bar fining her for the rest of my trip.

This solution worked for me: step by step, as we got to know each other's needs, the level of compatibility that was reached was very fulfilling. I have had similar experiences in Thailand but I find that Filipinas warm up to you faster. At times I felt I was servicing their sexual needs more than they were mine. Stayng until 12 each morning she flatly refused any tips or taxi money but as I was packing for my flight to HKG and she was in the shower, I slipped 2000 pesos into her overnight bag.

A week is not nearly enough to begin even to scratch the surface of opportunities this city has on offer. In the big clubs of Walking Street I did not take so much as a peek inside and my WeChat lighted up very late into the trip. High Society is still to be experienced. As a music lover I enjoyed the live bands at RnB. Although in many ways similar to Thailand, there is a certain Angeles twist to everything. I can not pinpoint what it is, put for as a first time visitor I find it engaging. Maybe some of my excitement is caused by a fact that this has been my first solid stretch of punting for several years now. Also the thrill of a new place and a new culture may count in as factors that pep me up.

All in all, visiting Angeles was a good decision. It is a good place get started on mongering in Philippines: the area is compact so the distances are short compared to big cities. I got a warm welcome from some of the veterans of the ISG community. Especially I want to thank BD who went out of his way to help me find my way. For anyone interested in visiting AC, instead of asking questions, try to go through some 200-400 pages of this forum. The information is all there. Even though I feel I feel that I have added very little if at all new information to this forum, I hope my experiences inspire someone to visit AC.

Many years ago I used to stay in a back road apartment nearby but have not even been to perimeter for ages. Just wondering if I should give the area a try including staying nearby on my next trip.

Southeaster.[/QUOTE]I am not Kurre. But I have stay at Savanah Hotel and Red Planet (formerly named Tune). Savanah was nice, around $65 a night. Red Planet is $30 a night. I prefer Red Planet. It is totally non smoking, clean and modern hotel. The room is small but it is OK with me. The bathroom has a nice roomy shower for two. You can bypass the lobby with your date and the doormen are nice and helpful.

I also prefer a few of the perimeter bars than fields bars.

It's a game. In one local group, the winner reportedly was at 12 girls impregnated during a few months. Their favorite targets are girls aged 14, 15, 16. Of course, this results in many "single moms", some of whom are quite young.

And then, of course, there are the older patriarchs, like former actor / senator Ramon Revilla Sr, who is reputed to have fathered nearly 100 kids. This category generally seems to have more financial responsibility.

Pinoys are remarkably fertile, as opposed to western men, whose fertility rates are rapidly declining. Many theories as to why western sperm count is dropping precipitously, including obesity, sedentary lifestyle, stress, plastics, pesticides, and so on.

Have visited some islands off the west coast of Samar where the villages seem to be populated mostly by pregnant or nursing women and lots and lots of babies and small kids.
