I just pay their deposit and they ask if I want the frig unlocked. They just charge for whatever I consume. The restaurant is great for me, but not sure of your preferences. The front desk can tell you if they have a room safe or look at the website. I have the penthouse booked for next week. Hope to have another all night bender. Have fun!

Forgot to mention photos of double room I had a few days ago are on the Chicago forum as I met a Chicago chica at Rizo on her day off. The double room had a safe, but I rarely use them.

I'll try to make it out one day before I expire. Some were saying Medellin is more short time wham bam thank you ma'am, Bogota has more variety, and Barranquilla more passionate ladies. Hobby is very YMMV so I take what they say with a grain of salt. For now the chicas in Tijuana have turned the passion to 10 and satisfy me for the moment. I don't mind solicitors or hawkers, but I would mind having someone that has a trigger happy finger pointing a barrel at my face. If it was the states, then I'd give them what they want and they would probably end up meeting their maker.

I should have paid $30 for 6 month FMM but I was not thinking straight.

Can people who printed online FMM form & crossed border by foot please respond:

A. was it totally free when your FMM dates were under 7 days.

B- did you walk in through the Foreigner line or the Mexican national line.

I am guessing the bribe seeking cops will not accept and insist on a fine.

So I haven't been grocery shopping for a long time as I usually have meals prepped by a company, but hey need some essentials. I'm in the cold vegetable / fruit section and receive a WhatsApp text. It is a regular I'm supposed to meet on Monday. She says she misses me and is horny. I said I miss her too and want to see her on Monday. Texts were exchanged and she is feeling really frisky and wants a video chat. I let her know I'm grocery shopping and having a hard on in one of the aisles. She said that makes it even more exciting and her parents are in the other room. So didn't think anything of it and I get this video call request. I answer and she is butt naked in her room scanning her body up and down. I can't contain my laughter and shock. Pay by credit card you're getting the best rate and it's $28-29. For 180 days!! Not a bad deal even if you are going 2 times in that period to not have to worry about standing in any line after an already long walk / journey. I consider myself the "value crowd" as I'm used to Asian pricing and I extremely hate getting taken advantage of. I think you're making the mistake of trying to save $ that ultimately is going to cost you more time / stress / and money which it seems like you already hit that point. No need to fight it now. Buy your FMM online save yourself the I do not work for the agency just trying to help my fellow cheap skate. ;).

Here are some troubles I ran into:

I watched a google video on how to fill it out online because the name of border crossing (and you need to make sure the form is filled out with out any error) etc. Just watch the video. Google online FMM form. OF course if you get a Puto Mexican immigration officer he might try and find a problem. So as he was shaking down the 3 gringos in front of me to enter the "room" I assume to pay. I walk up and say. Hola, I would like to process 180 day visa. He begins to scrutinize it with a frown. I thought he doesn't seem happy is the extra work involved? Is it his lack of $$ flow in his pocket? I handed him 3 papers he looked at the first 2 which are the visa info, the 3rd is the receipt that I paid $29. He briefly looked at the 2 papers quickly and said "no receipt" I need proof you paid the fee? I said - "it's there. I handed it to you" he' goes back again a bit surprised. See's the receipt. Then goes back to the visa. Shakes his head. Says you paid on July 1st on your receipt, and today is July 5th. I said yes. On the form it asks me my arrival date. Today is July 5th my first day of arrival so the 180 days should begin on my first day of arrival and the form is filled out correctly. He doesn't agree. Goes back to that back room for a few minutes where he sends people to pay and comes back - "sorry, the payment date has to match the first day of arrival. Yadda yadda or else I can't stamp it, the dates have to match. I'm shocked like. That would be incorrect and how would I do that fill out the form and pay for it on the same day of arrival? Or If I paid for it on July1st should I have lied and said my arrival is on July 1st and then just show up on July 5th. He said they have to match. Maybe call your bank to get your money back. I can let you in this time. He lets me without any paperwork.

So, just sharing that info. Not sure if dude was correct or if he was just F'ng with me. So I'm a bit pissed but. Got to let it go. Next day I show up a little earlier. I don't know if the time of day is a factor. The first time I rolled through at 8 pm. The next day I rolled through at like 3 pm. Luckily roll up 1 gringo in front of me, get an agent that doesn't give the vibe he's a corrupt Federali slight younger. I say the same thing. Trying to come off as nice as possible. I'd like to process my visa. Also a bit inquisitive looks at my 3 printed papers. Tears of a portion stamps it. No problems.

Thought I'd share. So I would advise perhaps. 1) try not to arrive to have your 180 day visa during monger hours Fri. Night at 8 pm. 2) get lucky with the agent. You may have to come back the next day / time 3) definitely bring the receipt that you paid the $29 along with the 2 page visa info you print. They tear off a small portion stamp it and hand it back to you 3) not sure what to do with the dates but I am good for 180 days for now. Do you fill out the visa form arrival date to match the date of payment. Or pay and enter a future 1st arrival date? I don't know and I'm sure depending on the agent he can F with you either way if he wants to and hasn't found anything else in your paperwork that is a typo etc.

I guess I somewhat understand if you're only visiting 1 x in 180 you feel a bit cheated. But it's worth it at 2 x and if you travel anywhere in the world you always pay a visa fee or airport tax. For international travel $29 part of the vacation expense. At least you actually get a benefit with this fee. Walk right in with the locals!

I printed the form out and walked through the foreigner line and gave it to the guard at the desk. He stamped both the entry and exit piece of paper, and gave me the "salida" part of the form and waived me through. This was around 8 pm two days ago. I believe that the form defaults to the 7 days or under option (free) as long the arrival and departure dates you enter on the website are indeed no longer than 7 days. I have never been forced to pay a fee when I've used this online FMM and have been staying for less than 7 days. However, it could just be that I've always been fortunate enough to be checked by agents who aren't trying to extort a $30 bribe.

The bros are tough guys and when bullied, should brave up and teach the Mexican Imm assholes good lessons, for the sake of the weaks who have to submit to their abuses.

Ask to see their IDs, write it down their names, ID numbers and take notes of specifics, date, time, witnesses ect. Write complaints to Mexico's Imm offices in Tijuana and Mexico City and follow up until you get satisfactory results.

I bet you these bullies will be shaking as they handle your paperwork. Don't let these assholes trample on everyone. That money is much better off given to the poor girls and workers in La Zona.

But I would not let any of those concerns stop you. MDE is definitely not wham bam thank you ma'am. In fact, it's not uncommon to have to ask the girl to leave. English is not as prevalent as it is in Tijuana but you'll get by. The only drawback for a noob is that everything in MDE is spread out. But I can't say enough good things about Medellin.

Just say right away that you want to buy a $ 30 visa and it's ready immediately and it's ok for 6 months small price to pay because in Zona Norte you have regulated legal prostitution 10 minutes from the border, beautiful girls, safe without sting operation and arrests like in the USA where prostitution is illegal. And when it is legal, it is super expensive, eg a brothel in Nye County, Nevada near Las Vegas HJ start from $ 250. I have an idea guys, call or write to your local congressman and say you want legal prostitution in your state like in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Germany, the Netherlands and many other countries.
