Hi N_R, I've never had an issue. Generally the hotel contact who lines up the girl shows me her social media profiles during the 'negotiation' stage. On my last visit to Makati, the head of security told me honestly the girl was a little bit more chubby than her Facebook profile suggested. I went ahead with it, and she may have been have been a little chubby, yet amazing in the sack. She keeps in regular contact with me when I'm not in the Philippines so I know whenever I return I have her lined up prior. I've never had to turn a girl away. If you're staying at a half-decent hotel, the security guys aren't going to risk their jobs by letting dodgy girls meet up with guests and the girls have to register at reception. Regards, Phil.
Phil,
Great advice and I really appreciate the insight on this approach. As I stated, I am headed to PI / Boracay at the EOM and will certainly try your approach. I am not much of a bar-scene type. I do it and tolerate it for obvious reasons; however, it's not my style.
Again, many thanks.

Depending where you're staying, the hotel guys should be able to assist. However, around Station 2 there's a number of nightclubs right on the beach. You don't have to go inside to meet someone as there's a number of freelancers mingling out the front. All it takes is to walk past a few times they'll know what you're after. From experience they're not too 'aggressive' like in Makati and there are some very nice choices to be made from experience. Phil.

You continue to impress me with great advice (and I thought I was experienced). I have been to Boracay several times; however, I have always taken talent with me knowing the nightclub scene was a bit lacking. As you can imagine, I do not have much trouble finding talent willing to jump on plane / boat bound for Boracay all expenses paid for 4-5 days. Yes, I have bought a few sundresses and bathing suits along the way. Cost of doing business, in my opinion. I am sure I'll get flamed for being overly generous with such. NTL, I will certainly reconsider my approach based on your fantastic advice.
I am sure I'll get flamed for being overly generous with such.
Not so much. If you feel you obtained value for the pesos that you gave for good girlie experience, then bully for you. Pre-covid it was easier to give consistent price info for most situations, but things have changed since then.
OTOH, from your posting history, you have visited many places over the years and given some solid field reports elsewhere, but not so much in Phils. Please do so after your upcoming visit.

Yes, I have never regretted my doing such as I typically see an immediate "return on my investment". The chickie feels better about themselves and there is usually an immediate and sustained payoff.
Don't worry, I will submit a report upon completion. Truth be told, this is my first trip to PI in 10+ years.

Of course add in something for contingencies or losses in the budget. Decide what is an acceptable loss and move on to another adventure.
I have found great value in PH for myself. That is all that matters. Not what someone else tells what it should be. Never mind the NaySayers.
Fellas,
Not much traffic on LA Cafe lately? Are the other entertainment areas so much better that this venue is hardly worth it? I am headed to PI at the EOM and am working on options for engagement. I am adapt at online; however, prefer to eyeball the goods prior to buying.
N_R.
Slim pickins when I was there recently. Actually not that slim if you know what I mean. But there are always spinners in the PI.

There's great value to be had in the PH and some amazing women. Personally, I don't do the typical girly bar scene as I have an issue about paying $100 for a round of lady drinks (fruit juice) when they swarm upon you in packs, not to mention bar fines on top of that and potentially a dud root as a result. I know I'm open to criticism for not following the 'normal' . However, I have over time, made many contacts and see repeat girls by keeping in touch. By not paying the bar expenses, I can 'reward' the girls I know and send money in their direction instead by way of clothes, vacations etc. And, believe me, they appreciate it! Everyone has their own way of operating and I appreciate that. Phil.

N_R.
I can't stand LA I hate it. First time ever in Malate a girl took me there and not even 1 minute I walked out. Fucking smokers haven, guys lighting up one after another. If you ever bring a girl from there back to your room make sure she shampoos her hair LOL.
..Everyone has their own way of operating and I appreciate that. Phil.
Me too.
What's the definition of insanity?? Repeating the same thing and expecting different results. Lots of guys find fault with the PI but keep coming back to the activities they don't like: poor attitudes in AC, high costs on P Burgos, grannies in LA Cafe etc. One of the best things about the Philippines is the huge number of ways of meeting girls, the appearance of said girls and methods of banging them.
Everyone likes different things and almost all are available in the PI somewhere.
Enjoy. G.

If you're not into the typical bar scene like myself, there are alternatives and it's just a matter of thinking outside the box, before you get into the box. For me, this country never fails to disappoint. One observation I have made over time is, if a guy appears to be an arsehole / asshole in the Philippines, he probably is in his home country too. A lot of 'new' guys arrive expecting to find a long term GF on the spot. It doesn't work that way. The reason they don't, is probably why they can't get one at home. Just my observations. Phil.

Phil.
The way I've always put it is that Asia tends to exaggerate someone's personality. The guy who some times has a few too many will drink himself to death. The guy in a power trip will be screaming at a 150 p a day waitress because his steak isn't cooked to his liking. The introvert will disappear to the boonies, never to be seen again. And, yes, the desperate and dateless will be complaining about how stuck up the stunners are. Most of us have seen all of the above.
Yes, the ripoffs and disastrous break ups make the news but they are definitely the vocal minority. 99% of the time it's his fault anyway because of leading with his wallet or being incredibly gullible. Most guys who have been here for a while know many others who put some effort into finding the right girl and have lived happily ever after, often for decades. I'm no saint but guys who only know friends who are bar flies and girls who are hookers really need to look at their choices rather than blaming their surroundings. 😁.
Rant off. 😜.

G.
To add to this.
I have found bargirls to have more integrity and honestly than everyone else. Of course there were some small time scams which I quickly dropped the girls. I have had westerners with some sad stories that borrowed $100 from me and never even attempted to pay back $1. 00. Bargirls have provided extra services for the much needed "loan".
