C' Italian has very good food, IMHO. It is located well down Fields.

Yes Cottage Kitchen is good. Also on Perimeter is a Mexican place, which is adequate. I used to live in S. California and became used to good Mexican fare, so I may be overly picky. Closer to the action ...I think it's called Bourban something.... is a good place and had nice music the night I was there.

If you don't mind getting your fingers dirty, eat with the locals. BBQ chicken!

Harry the Horse often gives restaurant reviews in his monthly column and of course you can eat at his place called La Casa also on Perimeter. I seem to remember some talk about a Philly cheese steak in his March note...(I also used to live in South Philly!). I love Philly chessy steaks!

Just arrived home from a trip to A/C. Although I usually go once every six months I missed a cycle to visit Thailand.

Normally I prefer the smaller more cozier bars where you can have more interaction. However, I did make the rounds to the bigger bars.

The first thing that struck me was how many unappealing (chubby, stretch marks, no tits, mushy tits, etc.) girls are showing up in the bars, including the so-called “show clubs” (what a laugh). My own (unscientific) poll revealed that all had one or more babies.

Had a problem at Insomnia, which is not unusual from other mongerer I talked with. The mammason was her usual rude self, tying to force drinks and actually telling the girls not to talk with you unless you buy drinks for many of them. If you want to be hassled, this is the place to go.

The second I noticed was the slow demise of Santo’s Street. It should be self-evident to any regular visitor to A/C this area is going through its death rattle. Every time I come to A/C finding a respectable bj bar with decent women is more and more difficult.

For you Black Pearl enthusiasts I tried to look up Chadra (the last name in bj’s), but could not find her. Tried her sister (Mia Lynn), who was awful. She gave a bj like she was drinking a milk shake, then left me (literally) high and dry at that tender moment. Eventually got a decent bj from a girl who worked at Heaven. Can’t remember her name, but she was a cherry-girl. Not bad and a great tight body.

Did have a very good time in the Bird Cage (next to Confetti’s). On Thursday and Saturday they go topless, while painting their tits and the rest of their body(s) as some type of animal. What a surprise, the new owners have redone the entire place making it easier to maneuver. Also, the owner was very friendly, literally buying round after round for hours. I would recommend you stop and have a beer. Friendly and agreeable place.

I also want to comment on the baby fat/stretch marks comment. Now, there is no scientific proof, but I would bet most babies are born to momgers. The Philippines has got to be the #1 mongering spot for bareback sex. Yeah yeah yeah we always use condoms. I doubt it. Ask ANY WG and she will tell you 9/10 guys don't. Manila is a little better, but not much.

best BJ bar on Santos nowadays is WOW, the TINY dive right on the corner across from SHANO's Irish pub (the road where you would turn RIGHT to Pacific Breeze if coming from Wild Orchid). No onsite ST rooms though, so you gotta have your own room. NOT open late.

Regarding food, the choices are MUCH better than a few years ago, but true epicures should NOT go to Angeles to satiate their hunger. Makati/Manila has way better food options at the upper end.

But if yiou want to go cheap on girls but expensive on foiod, you need not starve. C's is among the most haute cuisine but it is WAY overpriced for Angeles. The prices would be high even in Milan or New York, but for Angeles they are absurd (a small pizza is $14).

Azzure Restaurant, upstairs from Lacelot's, offers very good Italian food at reasonable prices. I also like the Maranao Grill at Oasis Hotel quite a lot. l SM Mall has several very acceptable eateries and the food at Wild Orchid is not bad at all.

I am moving to subic in a couple of weeks. I used the new expressway for the first time last week (coming from Subic to AC), but.

I drove right through clark, entered NLEX, went two exits to Angeles, and then took another 10 minute drive to Fields. Did I do something wrong? Someone told me that is the only way, but it makes no sense. Why would it be called the Clark-subic expressway if there was no clark exit.
