The coaster is basically an Amtrak train that runs from Oceanside into Downtown San Diego. You get off and then catch the Blue Line trolley to TJ right at the Amtrak Station Downtown.

I no longer live in SoCal but still have friends there. I talked to one recently and he is paying between $100-$120 at AMP's for 30 minutes F/S. High-end girls. And it's only going to get better. I remember back in the early 1990's during the SoCal recession, girls at the S/C's would actually go up and dance knowing that they would only get one or two dollars tips from patrons. It was not mandatory for them to do so and they did it on their own volition. And, many expect that this recession will be far deeper and longer.
I am currently living in Mexico and the only value I see here is when you can monger for an extended period of time(apartment rental) after factoring in related travel expenses.
Coming here for a weekend specifically to monger(no golf, fishing, business) is not cost effective and just foolish from a monetary standpoint.

I would say your correct, but I think the difference is the bargin hunters will get caught in a Sting operation here. Its tollerated in TJ, Craigslist is a 50/50 sucess rate at the best of times and Eros is full of $$$ talent.

From a purely monetary standpoint, strictly speaking, you're correct. But, to be consistent, from a strictly monetary standpoint we would all drive Kias, all eat off the McDonald's $1 menu and purchase clothing from the Salvation Army.
Obviously, we don't all do that (except FJL! :) :) ) So, purchases are made for many more reasons than just monetary, and a roll in the hay is no different.
I like TJ because there is no risk of LE and all the associated BS that comes along with running afoul of the feminazis in this country. And it's a brief glimpse into another culture, at least to some degree. Yes, there are risks of shakedowns, but, if you're careful, they can be minimized. It's a pain to get to SD and back, but I find the fun outweighs the annoyance. While there isn't much to choose from except Latinas, the good thing is that there are all kinds of 'em! I've never been a fan of US strip clubs, but, then, there's really nothing like HK in the US, especially in CA. The variety of the venues is great, and really good GFEs are pretty easy to find.
So, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but not everyone drives a Kia. I just wish I could afford to go more often! :(

Like I said you never know if your going to get caught up in a Sting or get rip-off service locally and those are the biggest issues.
Decent services in Los Angeles run at least $200 for one hour, maybe you can get them to drop down to $100-150 for 30 mins. Even with the exchange rate its roughly $160US an hour in a German FKK. Most of these prices are set, no negotiations skills needed. The talent level is HIGH, you have to go out of you way to find a ugly woman. For quality service just pay attention to your surroundings.
Now if you factor in it cost me $1,000 to fly to A-Dam (didn't dabble there), an additional $235 for Hotel, another $170 for a one way ticket to Norway (Bergen), $60 for the overnight train to Oslo, $180 to fly to Sweden One way, $150 for hotel and I hadn't had sex yet on this trip, look how much I spent. I had to spend another $140 for a Ryanair flight from Stockholm to Frankfurt which included a bus ride to Frankfurt Main train station. THEN I got laid (FKK Oase) as my freebie prospects started to dry up after I touched down in Oslo. Nothing is cheaper than RLD, 30 mins cost me 25-30 Euro, I sessioned 3 times while in FRA and that doesn't include FKK Miami, Palace and Oase...
So yes cost is hardly a factor, because in Germany its LEGAL, TAXED and REGULATED, but you have to get there to enjoy it.
Outside of Las Vegas there are a few choices and its legal but cost is vastly more expensive. I was curious and ventured out to Sheri's. I picked a smoking blonde with smokin body, a 9 on most anybody scale. Once we got back to her room, she qouted me $500 for a "nice time" $750 for anything and how ever long I wanted and $1,500 to spend the night.
A girl on that level cost you about the same in LA or Orange County and its not legal and if you get caught.... Though chances are slim if you've been a constant victim of bad luck in your life, I'd seriously consider not doing it locally.
TJ represents an affordable alternative and tolerant environment = WIN-WIN

Excellent point. You are entirely correct on the LE angle. You get hit once, and your professional career is likely over. Also, good luck getting an SBA loan as they pick over your entire credit and criminal history with a fine-tooth comb. Getting busted for solicitation shows lack of character and judgement.
I myself have a lot of character, just not so much when it comes to ho_kers.

I feel that TJ is a better deal, by far, when you consider the risk/reward factor this side of the border. One bust from LE will cost you more than a dozen trips in the long run. Next is the rip off risk with CL gals. Being on the other side of the law makes you an easy target for rip offs, be it pimps, crooks or ROBs.
A friend had this whacked out gal from CL show up at his door. It was a bad scene from the start and she left in a huff. She came back to accuse him of assault, which of course was bogus and charges were dropped. I like to go to TJ for two days, mid-week, Wed-Thurs. I get a decent selection of gals without the weekend crowd. I take the train from north of LA. It’s relaxing and not too much longer than driving alone. If I do drive I have to take a buddy, that way the car pool lane is available. Without the diamond lane, nothing is worth driving through Ventura, LA, then OC and San Diego traffic.
Next get a room at Cascadas Hotel, the one next to HK. They give you a room on the top floor away from the street noise. Last time it was $35 for a single room and $45 for a double. The best part is that there is no charge when bringing a gal over from HK or the street. It’s usually $12 for a ½ hour, so after 3 trips I’m ahead and I get a room for the night. I plan for 3 gals the first night and then 1 the next day just before I check out. Sometimes it’s 2 and 2.
