The Guwahati ISG forum should not be compared with that of a Metro city or an X class city like Bangalore. The number of users in Ghy forum is less and not all comparable to that of Bangalore / Delhi. Most of us also frequently move out of Ghy and then come in for some time. (This includes me as presently I am residing in Kolkata temporarily). Another aspect is it is difficult to get good indies or well organized SP's in Ghy. Yes there are some good indies but for that a lot of effort is required.

Lastly, a general post in the forum may suffice for getting contacts in a big city (But there are complaints by members of not getting contacts even after posting a general message in forums like Bangalore / Delhi etc) , for Ghy forum, due to the limited users it is necessary to send DM's too. And most important you have to take a little pain and browse the forum to find active members and then send a DM.

My only request to you is that as a Sr member of ISG, do not convert this forum and website as a means for barter trade.
