I wish I agree with you, but numbers I am seeing on expedia is my reality LOL!
Also for airplane, some longer routes are cheaper, but direct and some routes seems to be more expensive than before by quite far! Maybe it is summer and the borders are opening up in Europe!

It is hard for office workers to get back to norm after remote work of pandemic as office workers were like escaped slave during pandemic feeling the freedom of outside office for significant of time of like a year or more out of office.

But most of these hotels are not in the city centres. In other cities such as Munich it will be more expensive.
Sometimes you could find 3-4 star hotels for around EUR90-100. Keep in mind you are only there for a few hours to sleep. You spend most of the hours in FKKs.
I will be in 4-5 stars hotel if I am traveling on business but I will be staying in 3-4 star hotels and spend most of the money for having fun in FKKs when traveling for fun. When we are mongering we do not need amenities such as Swimming pool, Sauna, Gym, Steam room etc.
But of course it will also depend on the demand. When there is a special attraction in the city then the accomodation is in demand. But a monger why shoud avoid travling on thse dates.

That way, I have easy access to trains to get around. And if I need to get a taxi, there's always one that can be easily hailed. Also, there tends to be inexpensive places to eat nearby that you can walk to, either at the hauptbanhof itself or close to it. This is how I learned to do after my first trip to Germany where I realized there was room for me to save time and money by improving upon the logistical arrangements of my journey.

For about 9 months, Hilton and Marriott brand hotels were dirt cheap, offering rates at almost half price and 3-4 x rewards points. Over the last few months, as we have opened, the large brand hotels are even more expensive than they were pre-pandemic. Out of curiosity, I checked the prices in Germany and saw the same trend, although prices did not increase as much as in the USA, yet. But Germany is a few months behind in opening up.
The strange thing however, when I checked using a hotel aggregator (Expedia) for the first time today, Frankfurt had so many small hotels offering very cheap rates. These 3 star hotels were selling for 30-45 USD. I'm guessing maybe it is because these cheaper hotels are usually occupied by migrants and young people. Since those people have yet to return, the rates there are staying pretty cheap.

I quoted the price with airplane and hotel, and it was more expensive by far than usual price range I paid to go to FKK trip, so I checked just plane ticket and that too was by far more expensive beside taking longer root through middle east like Dubai and Qatar! Those flight in contrary was much cheaper!
Well all in all, I won't go due to safety both virus and also the risk of FKK closing again as I do not book in last minute, but I usually book few weeks or a month or two in advance for FKK trip to get myself ready physically and mentally for non stop sex all day trip LOL! I do not like to rush both in room or prior to the actual trip it self!
I think there will be high demand for travelling once all get back to normal as humans love to travel which they could not for past almost two years soon by the time all become normal if it become normal! High demand may cause increase in price or decrease in price is yet to see! Each industry react in different way so!
I do expect to see more stunners in line up to make fast cash after pandemic though, so lets hope so for the line up!
