Ignore the waitress, or tell her "later maybe". You can walk right up and chat directly with girls on the stage (or those lounging about the place). You can ask them anything, discuss your needs. The bar 'game' of calling a girl (who may or may not be willing to barfine) to your table to share a LD, followed by calling another girl (who may or may not be willing to barfine) to your table to share a LD, and so on is designed to drag money from your wallet and into the bar's wallet. I'm not being cheap; there are times I actually want to have a drink in a bar (ie, to watch the floor show), but its certainly not to barfine. If I wanted to be cheap I'd stick to Perimeter bars (only one visit there). I also don't care to barhop, I find the bars themselves something to avoid spending my time in (cig smoke). The idea (ala ME) is to walk in, chat up any girl with intel on who will barfine right now, chat that girl, barfine and walk out the door. The longest part of the process is when the bargirl goes in the back to change her clothes.
OTOH, I also understand that playing the 'game' all night is what some gents love to do.

Is it Atlantis or Dollhouse? Whatever it was, it was huge; like entering a theater to watch a play. Me and the other monger went and sat right at the stage. We ordered drinks for us and started pointing out the girls on the stage that we liked the best. The waitresses and dancers kept asking for drinks for themselves or their coworkers, but we kept telling them no. We were in there about an hour.
When we got ready to leave I asked someone how much the barfine was for the girl on the stage who appealed most to me. She was front and center and looked like a babydoll. After reading it many times on this forum I finally heard those dreaded words. She does not barfine, only drink. I said what the fuck would I need to drink with her for? I am here to fuck. Then we walked out. Must have been one of those chicks that someone pays monthly not to go out with guys. All this time I thought it was only a myth. Glad I didn't buy any drinks before asking about the barfine!

It's just that I had only one bad experience with this approach. I pointed to the girl, asked mamasan to bring her to my table, asked her to go out with me, she accepted but with a lukewarm attitude. I think that girl was also very new (a different kind of issue). The experience was very bad. But to be clear, I don't actually blame her so much I blame myself for not maybe taking enough time to talk to the girl and figuring out if it is a good idea to barfine her. The problem with me is that I am not really good at all at chit chat in the bar. I am somewhat introvert I guess (though not shy). And I know that this is not about real attraction or anything. I am still a customer and she is the provider of a service. But to get back to the eye contact, I think that if the girl looks for my gaze and smiles then she is OK with the possibility of going out with me. I might be wrong (again I am not a veteran, I have only 5 pleasure trips on my "CV" so far) I do know that the best experience I had was in Thailand where a girl picked me from the onset and insisted that I would barfine her.
One thing I never did, is to go with a wingman. I only traveled solo. With a pal on the side, I suppose it is easier to taking one's time in the bar. Maybe next time.

Also, if you ask any mama, she'll laser all "Virgins" for you ahead of time so you know who they are.
I think that all in all, though encouraging as many LDs as possible, Atlantis has a policy of being fair and upfront with its guests so they know not to call girls over just for drinks unless one wishes to do so.
Maybe YMMV.
IMHO befriending a mamasan in Atlantis could prove to be a good idea if you like bar girls.

I think you will find that bars in the new Angeles are mainly all run on deception.
Why, because prostitution is illegal in the Phills and with the new HT rules that deem any girl that barfines to have sex as being trafficked then all bars are very reluctant to even discuss sex with the girls let alone offer sex with the girls.
My experiences with mamas, waitresses, owners, managers is that most will not discuss sex with one of their bargirls, why, because of the very severe penalties involved (20 years inside with no bail) with bars selling pussy.
As for different colored tags for the girls that fuck for a living, think again, different tags would mean admission by the bars that they offer prostitution which all bars want to avoid like the plague.
Even the old style v on the tags of girls have mainly gone now or are so small that one would not notice it.
The bars of Angeles have changed 360 degrees to just a few years ago, blame the constant raids or the new prostitution (HT) laws that have everyone in the bar business running scared.

All girls are interviewed and employed by the doll house group directly, they are not controlled by mamasuns.
As far as girls giving hand signals if available I have never seen this on my many visits over many years to the dhg bars.

Heading to Angeles for 7 or 8 days late next week. Interested in possible one night diversion to Subic. Any thoughts. Is it worth going there to check it out. Or maybe is it just a smaller version of Angeles.

I like to put the girl at ease by being playful. For example, if I am still interested after her first drink I will ask her to play Jack and Poy (Rock, Paper, Scissors) with me. If she wins, she gets a drink. If I win, she kisses me on the cheek. I usually continue playing until she wins, but her stakes increase. Kiss on the lips, etc. All the girls that I've challenged have laughed and enjoyed the game. Don't act your age; act her's.
I don't bother pursuing a girl who actively avoids eye contact with me. Plenty of other fish. This happened to me more in AC than in Burgos or EDSA for some reason.
