I went to DOM - 2 star Michelin native Brazilian ingredients. The 12 course tasting menu was worth $200 USD.

I strolled around Japanese neighborhood of Liberdade, man it was great, they brought Japan to SP with Anime collectibles, Japanese immigration museum was pretty neat, the best one I guess for this trip. Japanese garden with coy fish and amazing Ramen with tempura ice cream. I had a great time.

Strolled around Oscar Freire. Pretty good restaurants, tried Thaitea from recs here it was ok but Tartufaria Italian was pretty nice.

Also ate at Sushimar decent meal.

Also went to futbol museum bunch of school kids on a trip, pretty boring.

Also went to ibirapuera park and free museum there, was not bad schools kids here too.

Verdict. I had more fun outside scandallo then inside. I guess just being hunted like a prey in a totally foreign country with people talking behind your back in a foreign language isn't that much fun.

I did 3 trips back to back in the past 4 months to scandallo and I probably need to stop mongering LOL, it's mentally starting to get to me. Lately feeling I'm paying money but it's not making my life better. Just making me more anxious. It started out as hey this is an amazing way a man can treat himself be it FKK or scandallo or something else. But these fatties, oldies and uggos are annoying with their scams and photo shops and price haggling and poor service quality. Anyone else feel me on this? Spending a lot of money and flying back breaking 15 HR red eye flights on a completely unnecessary not required activity, you won't die if you don't fuck. This time I did actually have business in SP but previous 2 trips were solely mongering, full disclosure.

Traveling was my original hobby and after visiting 30 countries, I'm done with that. Then it became mongering, now I'm done with that too. What's next? I think I'm going to pick up fine dining as my new hobby, sampling Michelin stars around the world as a way to treat to myself.

I have traveled all my life, and was thrilled to bring mongering into the mix at a time when I had the opportunity and could afford it. But now, seeing how much that the hobby has declined around the world, I'm about as happy to eat out at a good restaurant as I am to eat out a good tute, provided I can still find one with relative ease! [/QUOTE]Many if not most high-end clinicas expect you to shower before the girl comes. At Palms, you can interview and reject her in the room and make another choice. I mentioned it in my post. If helps here if you can speak to the owner. HIgh-end clinicas can be a gamble. Brazil is great but it is still number representing better ratio than most.

The list is only good for someone who is not demanding if I am direct about it. Loutron is the most expensive with limited service if that is what the "best" represents. La Isla used to be much better and the service from staff is on par with Scandallo to a single guest. It's not as luxurious with not as many girls. But all you need is one girl, not 200, La Isla is more than appropriate to find quality on par based on my own experience. After COVID, it went thru a remodel like Scandallo, the clientele changed, everything went down hill with the change.

Yes it's def down market from Scandallo but has a great crowded club bar vibe that is super in it's own way. And I hve pulled some stone cold hotties from there, including one of two 10's I've ever had in my life. As I've said in prior posts a great MO is enjoy the luxe vibe at Scan from 7 to midnight or 1 and take a girl. Then bounce to Casarao for a few hours and take another.

As far as all your stuff, you just need to make it work in your pockets. Ditch the go pro most girls at Scan are semi pro and not down with filming. Make due with your camera if they are. Condoms and money and vape fits in your pockets (been there done that). Yes it's tight but it works. I've never worried about a toothbrush and all brasileiras kiss like demons regardless. Never been an issue.

1) you can carry a bag with you to Scan. They do have a place to store your stuff while you enjoy your time. When you go to the room, you can take it up with you. I don't know about the go pro. Leave that at home and use in your room. I am not sure about Casarao but if it is a small shoulder bag, I think you will be fine with carrying it in.

2) the girls have heard it all. Tell them what you are looking for and see if they are interested.

3) Renaissance is great. Book the room for two if a regular room and three if you get a suite so you can do threesomes. We stay there all the time and it is in a great area to walk around and find places to eat.

And going to Scan multiple days during your trip pays dividends on subsequent days as 1) you are acclimated to the environment so less likely to fall into any traps 2) if you buy bottles, you won't waste them 3) girls see you are a regular and so do the wait staff and probably yield better service.

I usually carry a lot of stuff with me and sometimes bring a backpack and store it at bag check. Then I have a cross body bag with some things (vape, battery pack, cigars, etc.). If I decide to take a girl in house, I would go to bag storage and take other stuff (Condoms, lube, toys, etc.) out of my backpack before taking the girl to the room.

[/QUOTE]You seem to be experienced enough to not fall into most of the newbie traps. Just read recent reports, which it seems you did, to get a sense of the market and you will be fine. Some girls might see gringos as newbies and some might throw high numbers as many would not negotiate. Just counter with what you are comfortable paying, while knowing the market pricing.

If you drink, then buying a bottle has many advantages besides lowering cost per drink. It will also hold your table so you can walk around and come back without worries of it being taken by others. They keep bottles for 6 months so if you come back on multiple days, you can keep drinking from it. If you like gin, that is the type of bottle I would get as most of the girls prefer gin.

I know zero Portuguese and will be relying on a Translate app, so no use trying to act like I'm not a new tourist. Sounds like if I use common sense I'll have a good time, and after my first visit I'l get to know the girls & staff and they'll get to know me so that it all feels more comfortable. On a negotiation front, I suggest that you keep a ceiling such as 800-1 k for in house for an hour and 1. 5-2 k for overnight. Sometimes the girl is super hot and you have to have her so maybe a little bit more but girls will start with stupid numbers so don't go by what they throw out. Tell them you are going to be in town for a while and have been to Scandello before and know what the going rates are. A few girls will walk away. Let them go because you probably dodged a bullet. Those who stay and will negotiate might be the gems.
