Rising Prices. Same attitude.
IMO it's not worth venturing out and looking for new scores and experiences. Seen a steady rise in price due to what the PH peeps blame, inflation. However they don't try to make any changes to draw in customers or make it worth the difference in payment.
Not to mention knowing that they will take advantage of newbies or just in general if you're a foreigner puts you in already a turn-off mindset. Take note since foreigners aren't visiting or biting as much, they rely heavily on the local market as one can see via tantan, WeChat, tinder and so many are desperate they're willing to fork over 3 k just for a 1 month "subscription" to personalized vids / pics / etc channel from a walker. If they consider themselves, "A level," and some donkey agreees, subscription prices rise 2 k more just because they may have whiter skin then dark. LOL.
I'll stick to regulars but lately as a avid gamer, prefer spending on the Steam sale.

My 12-Night Romp in the Philippines! - Logistics
Welcome to the Philippines!
Why the Philippines?
I returned to the Philippines after a 33-year hiatus!
History first: The US Navy introduced me to Subic Bay in 1978. That was when I started my long mongering career. Being on ships, I spent quite a bit of time in the Subic Bay area; I loved the place.
In 1991, my ship was in Subic Bay during the eruption of Mount Pinatubo. Both bases were destroyed and we helped evacuate the military members and their families.
I am not sure why it took me so much time to return, maybe it was because I was exploring Latin America and I did not like the long flights to SEA. My last trip in SEA was in 2015 in Thailand. But for whatever reason, I felt nostalgic and had to return to PI.
My itinerary was:
Manila Three nights at New Coast Hotel.
AC Six nights at ABC Hotel.
Subic Bay Three nights at Central Park Reef Hotel.
Logistics & Other Stuff:
References:
I used two references: ISG members and Google search. Thank you ISG members!
Travel Insurance:
The SquareMouth web-site gave me over 50 quotes from over 50 different companies. I chose Trawick from National Mutual. It was for 14-days and cost $314.00.
Money:
All the money I quote is in Philippine pesos. During my stay, the exchange rate was around 58.20 to 1. I exchanged some US dollars in the airport and used ATMs when needed.
Flight:
I flew with Philippine Airlines. The service was excellent. It was a direct flight from LAX to Manila. It took 13.5 hours on the way over and 12.5 hours on the way back.
Immigration and Customs:
Before I left, I found a customs form online and I filled it out. When I checked in at LAX, I was told by the airline agent I needed to go to the eTravel website and complete that process for immigration.
So, I finished those two thingys and when I went through immigration and customs, nobody asked me for a damn thing. And when I left, again, not a damn thing was required.
Communication:
I have the T-Mobile Go5 GPlus55 plan; no worries whatsoever. For most of my trip, the service was through Globe Telecom. Sometimes the service changed to Smart.
Electrical voltage - 220.
Transportation:
While in Manila and AC, I used Grab and a few trikes. From the Manila airport to my hotel, Grab cost 420. I did not need any transportation while I was in Subic Bay.
The people:
I found the Filipinos to be extremely friendly, hospitable, and respectful. I leaned that in 1978 and it still holds true today. They always make you feel welcomed.
English:
During my stay, the majority of the people I talked to spoke English, whether it was broken or fluent. There were some exceptions, but not enough to be concerned about.
Trip reports:
I plan to write a separate trip report for the three cities I visited. I had my trusty note pads and I am still trying to figure out my shorthand writing so I can post the correct information.
Overall thoughts on the Philippines:
I was not sure what to expect after that long hiatus. The only thing that was similar were the girls; still playful as ever. I thought the cities were quite safe and I never felt threaten in any manner.
Would I ever return to the Philippines? Nah, the trip across the pond wore my old ass out. Overall, I had a great time! Would I recommend it to other mongers? Absolutely!
Como siempre, Solo mis dos pinche pesos, por supuesto!

My 3-Night Romp in Manila!
Welcome to Manila, the capital of the Philippines!
This trip report will cover transportation, hotel, restaurants, and clubs / bars in Manila. For logistics and other notes, please refer to my trip report in the Manila section, #20336.
Transportation:
While in Manila, I only used Grab to get around. From the Manila airport to my hotel, Grab cost 420.
Hotel:
I stayed at the New Coast Hotel. It was a beautiful hotel with great rooms. The staff and service were excellent. Was it girl friendly: YES. But wait, there's more! LA Cafe was only 3 blocks away!
Restaurants:
I did a lot of research before I left and here are my thoughts on the food scene:
Aristocrat – excellent.
Filling Station – very good.
Dusk Till Dawn – good.
Hotel – very good.
Clubs / Bars:
In each club / bar, I asked several questions and did my best to write the answers on my trusty note pad. Thus, if I am wrong with any of my notes, feel free to chime in with the correct information. I blew through many clubs and will do my best to post the correct information.
All the clubs I went to were in Makati. In those clubs, there were two separate prices, one for the bar fine and the other was for the girl.
Bar: LA Cafe.
Lady's drink: Same as yours.
Bar fine: None.
Price for the girl: Depended on the girl, I never paid more than 3000.
Number of girls: A butt load! (pun intended).
Quality of the girls: OK to hot.
Night / Time: I went several times during my stay.
Comments: There is not enough to say about this place. It was full of freelancers and of all ages. The girls seem to be bit older than in the Makati clubs, but that was fine with me. I pulled six girls from the place and only had one starfish. But overall, the rest of them were quite good during rack operations.
Bar: G-Point.
Number of girls: 4 freelancers.
Quality of the girls: Most were older and missing teeth.
Night / Time: Forgot.
Comments: I was with a couple of girls and they dragged me into this place. The place had a band and the atmosphere was good. I did not ask any of the freelancers for prices; I was too scared! Skip this place!
The following clubs were all in Makati.
Club: Bottoms Up.
Lady's drink: 390.
Bar fine: 3900.
Price for the girl: 5000.
Number of girls: 25.
Quality of the girls: OK to very good.

Comments: Nice club, but it had more chunky girls than the others. Mamasan was hot.
Club: Lips.
Lady's drink: 390.
Bar fine: 3900.
Price for the girl: 5000.
Number of girls: 40.

Club: Maison.
Lady's drink: 350 for a shot.
Bar fine: 3900.
Price for the girl: 5000.
Number of girls: 25.
Quality of the girls: Good to very good.
Night / Time: Thursday /9:15.
Comments: Nice place and they had a VIP room for blowjobs. The cost was the same, 3900 and 5000. That did not make a damn bit of sense when I could pull the girl from the club for the same price. The place also had 5-6 girls wearing lingerie dancing badly.
Club: Plan-be.
Lady's drink: 400.
Bar fine: 4200.
Price for the girl: 5000.
Number of girls: 25.
Quality of the girls: Very good to hot.
Night / Time: Thursday /9:45.
Comments: This place was quite pricy to say the least. It was a great line-up and some of the girls were on rocking horses. There was a good amount of hotties in the mix.
Mamasan was handing out free shots!
Club: Champagne.
Lady's drink: 390.
Bar fine: 3900.
Price for the girl: 5000.
Number of girls: 8.
Quality of the girls: Good to very good.
Night / Time: Thursday /11.
Comments: The club was just okay in my opinion. The best part was there was no pressure to buy anything.
Club: Dimples.
Lady's drink: 390.
Bar fine: 3900.
Price for the girl: 5000.
Number of girls: 25.

Comments: This was another club that I thought was just okay and there was no pressure there either.

Night / Time: Thursday / midnight.
Comments: Great looking place and some girls were dancing; woohoo! There was a good amount of hotties in the mix.
Club: Marquee.
Night / Time: Thursday /12:45.
Comments: When I walked in the club, I asked for a booth. I was told there were no booths available, even though I saw 6 empty booths! Hence, I walked out of the place. I did not ask any questions nor did I get a good look at the girls.
Club: Frye.
Lady's drink: 440.
Bar fine: 7700 (Fuck me to tears!
Price for the girl: 10,000 (Jesus tap dancing christ!
Number of girls: 21.
Quality of the girls: Good to hot.
Night / Time: Thursday /1.
Comments: This was the most expensive club I encountered. I am not sure who is paying those prices, but I guess some people have money to blow; count me out! There was a good amount of hotties in the mix, but they were too pricy to consider pulling one from the club.
Club: Dollhouse.

Bar fine: 3900.
Price for the girl: 5000.

Bar fine: 3800.
Price for the girl: 5000.
Number of girls: 15.
Quality of the girls: Good to very good.
Night / Time: Thursday /2:45.
Comments: This was a good looking club, but I was worn out to think of anything else about the place.
Overall thoughts on Manila:
The city was huge. The places I visited were impressive. I thought the city was quite safe and I never felt threaten in any manner. As a monger, I was impressed with LA Club and I liked the clubs in Makati, even though they were pricy. Overall, I had a great time! Would I recommend it to other mongers? Absolutely!
