There is one I know who is about 40, fat, and has crooked teeth, with hair usually dyed blonde and short and curly. Pleasant character and always around, but long past her sell date.

She is often around the outdoor barbecue chicken place just west of the hotel Europa or at the beach.

of course i would agree that one does not want to be in a position to have to use that defense and that one should exercise caution to comply with local and international laws.

it is also worth noting that such cases rarely come to trial in the us due to the difficulty in bringing witnesses to the us as the us does not readily grant travel visas to prostitutes and pimps, even to appear on judge judy. however if you are arrested and charged and convicted in a foreign country, there are various legal procedures that the us might use against you that you would not like.

if you are truly concerned about the law, also remember that prostitution is not legal in thailand and that there are many members of this board who have been there and perhaps broken the local law. prostitution is legal in the dr if there is no middeman involved, though those who have visited brothels in the dr have probably been guilty of a violation.

I bought a box of generic V. 100 mg. 96 pills for 975 pesos. Later that day I was at the Supermecado and there is an Orange store and pharmacy across the street so I decided to check their price. 9000 pesos for the exact same box, that's not a typo. 9000! Almost 10 times as much.

They are very profitable indeed, not only for sales of Viagra, but for all kinds of generic drugs like those cold remedies sold in individual sachets for a few pesos, where in the US one would buy a bottle of a hundred capsules for a couple of dollars, or for generic antibiotics like Amoxycillin which are priced on a per capsule basis.

The store is called Latino Minimarket and it is NOT a pharmacy. It used to be and maybe still is owned by an English guy. I believe he was trying to sell the business, but don't know if he did. Also a good place to buy cheap Chilean wine and / or sit outside and drink a beer at colmado prices while watching the world go by.

Visiting Sosua this weekend. I always rent a car. Just need a suggestion from fellow mongers. Are there good deals available if I go directly to the rental counter at POP airport rather than reserving through car rental companies?

Thanks for the info[/QUOTE]For me it has been cheaper to reserve the auto before I get there. I have tried to get a last second deal when I arrived but it has always been more money. The men in Sosua will rent auto's cheaper than the airport but I have always took the advice of the mongers on ISG and went with the larger companies at the airport.
