You also have to look at this from the mamasan's perspective. The most important thing to her is getting her commission for writing the voucher for the lady. 1 voucher is 365 K = 1 hour in the room with the lady to fuck or 1 hour with her at the table as "booking table. " It's the same to the mamasan and it's mostly (see below) the same for the lady. So as long as the mamasan gets her commission and you paying for the lady's time, you should be fine.

If you are a single, solo foreigner, without a group of friends there, who doesn't speak much Indonesian that just walked into a brothel, the mamasan assumes you are there to fuck. It's also the path of least resistance to the mamasan getting her commission by getting you to the room to fuck.

Regarding drinking with the ladies. Not all ladies like to drink. If you just want to drink yourself and you don't care if she drinks, you should make this clear to the lady. If you book a table, she may assume you want her to get drunk with you. This is because this is what the locals like and do. If locals book a table, most of them are looking for the lady to keep pace drinking with them all night long, whether it is a bucket (or 4) of Guinness or hard alcohol like whiskey. If you just want to kick back and drink for an hour and chat with her, make sure you let the lady know she doesn't have to drink alcohol and can drink a pocari, tea, or whatever local non alcoholic drink there is. The skinnier ladies especially may not want to drink beer or hard alcohol with you as they don't want to get fat or don't want to get shit faced drunk for the rest of the night and not be able to work. (She'll probably happily take a glass of beer, or a shot of whiskey. But the local guys that go often want the lady to match them drink for drink or at least always be drinking.) So just make sure you let her know it's ok if she doesn't drink much.

However. If you REALLY want a lady to drink with you and match you. There is a subset of ladies that absolutely LOVE to drink with customers and get drunk and just party all night. Typically these are the "bigger" ladies, but not all. Just don't expect that out of your typical 40-45 kg spinner that many of us seem to like here.

Do you ever notice all those "reserved" table tents with names on them all throughout Classic if you get there before 5 or 6 PM? These are regulars that often show up after work. Many are Chinese-Indo businessmen that make a LOT of money. Some of these guys drop 10-15 million or more a night, every night on whiskey alone. Like at least 8-10 bottles a night. They are there every night with their colleagues or friends. All the ladies and all the staff know them. Some drink with the ladies for several hours and then go fuck (if their dick still works after all that drinking). Some guys never go up and just go there to get shit-faced drunk every night after work, fondle the lady some and hang out with their friends.

This is what some ladies are scared of for "booking table." Expecting them to drink A LOT or match you drinking. There is a subculture of ladies that gravitate to this. But all not ladies want to do this. So if you book a table, it would be advisable to let the lady know she doesn't have to drink alcohol with you or she may prefer to just go to the room to fuck and not "book table. " Again though, it depends on the lady.

Again, just let her know she can drink whatever, but you are the one who wants to drink and it should be fine.
