I used to go to Malioboro but stopped going after the girls didn't go fully naked anymore. Are there still any bars where the girls will dance fully naked, or are these times over?

I'm considering a trip to Jakarta, for the first time (first time Indonesia as well). I've almost finished reading back from about November last year, but I'm not convinced (yet) if I should do it.

So what are the pros and cons of the girls in Jakarta, compared to the girls in Pattaya? Are the Jakarta girls generally sweeter, and do they give a better GFE? Or is that really hit or miss?
Or are you guys only going here because the girls are cheaper?

And another question: if I book a trip, I will arrive at the airport around 6 PM. So I guess I will have gone through immigration and collected my luggage around 7 or 7:30 PM. Will the rush hour be over by then and can I take a cab, or is it better to take the subway? I think I will be staying at the Redtop Hotel.

My flight (from Bangkok) also landed at about that time. No problem taking a taxi to Jalan Peconongan. The ride lasted about 45 minutes. I guess at that time the rush hour is out of town. Since we're driving into town, no problem.

[/QUOTE]Jakarta Pro: outside of the hardcore bordellos BBCIP and GFE are very available. Even inside these, cash often talks. Jakarta girls are far less commercial than Pattaya. Easy to approach in the street. Not everyone will go with you but those that do are better quality. On average English is better. You don't say if you want ST, LT or fall in love but very low likelihood of runners or scammers. Jakarta is a major city with lots of cash floating around so everything from 10/10 models to overpass skanks are available. Surgeries are basically unheard of. Like for like, costs are waaay lower.

Cons: Traffic and layout. Jakarta is not walkable and the areas with lots of bars close together are now dead. You go to one club then travel to another. You don't pub crawl all night.

Pattaya Pros:

Pure availablity and that's it. 1000's of girls to choose from within walking distance.

In summary: if budget isn't a concern and you want immediate availability of a gazillion girls, then stay in Pattaya; if you want sweeter girls that may require a little more work, but know how to say thanks, then go to Jakarta.

The scene is geared to locals and works in its own way. I hate the plastic tattooed Thai girls and the commercial nature of sex in Pattaya. But if you want to hang out in bars buying ladies drinks etc then Jakarta is not the place. If you want sweeter unjaded natural younger girls, this is the place. But if you love Pattaya I suggest staying there because Jakarta is nothing like that.

[/QUOTE]I'm not interested in pub crawling, and I prefer to have my sessions in the afternoon or early evening. So for my first trip I think I will stick to Classic and maybe Lokasari.
But Classic is also one of the reasons that I'm hesitating, because I do not really like bars and clubs. In Thailand I use Thai Friendly for the most part.

Classic, Travel etc are technically bars but you won't get pestered if you don't want to. Just be reasonably assertive that you want to sit first and relax.

The blaring music and chain smoking patrons of venues like Travel, Kota Indah bars and Classic leave me with ringing ears and reeking clothes. Despite some saying that no condom is nearly a given with tipping in Classic or Travel, there are now several contrary reports on the certainty of BBFS at these venues with some girls. So I suggest to negotiate that aspect of the service directly with the girl, discreetly using Google Translate, before committing in these venues.

As for Lokasari, not much to add to what has been said below. As a newbie without contacts, you will probably encounter the same girls like Ranti, Icha, Angun, Caca, Ferah, Ayu, Fatemae, Melati, Puput, Nca, Tiara, Dina, etc (see pics posted earlier by others) that hang out daily. They will all happily take your creampie without fail, with all the STD risk that comes with the territory. Some of the girls are quite sweet, others are rather hardened. If you prefer your sessions earlier, then Lokasari will not be so good as most of the girls don't come out until after dusk, although there are exceptions. You will be more successful getting your preferences if you use Google Translate to communicate in Bahasa.

I would recommend giving Jakarta a try, even if only for a unique mongering experience. It honestly takes more time and effort to really optimize and expand your options, so don't expect the moon on your first shot. For me, there is something about the talent in Indonesia that keeps me coming back. To illustrate, I share a sweet as sugar 19 yo who rode me cowgirl to completion then looked back lovingly into the camera as I filmed the pull-out. I'm also mid-60's, decent looking guy and friendly, so there is no shortage of exactly what you are looking for here. I've done Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam. There's no comparison if you want young, good looking, zero inhibitions girls for as little as 300 k IDR anytime you want. Lokasari is my go-to destination, then Classic, then Travel. But I also spend a lot of time online using Michat and Tantan, which have proven to be gold mines. As far as hotels, I highly recommend Sparks Life or Luminor if you want to be within 3 min walk of Lokasari and only about 5 from Travel. Tons of food around here as well.

That being said I would recommend Jakarta over Pattaya any day. The value for money here is unbeatable and it's not saturated with holiday-goers on every corner. I'm consistently getting BBFSCIP for 300 k rupiah ($18 usd) from lokasari girls and 400 k rupiah ($24 usd) from my civvies / semi-pros. In Pattaya, you will be paying more than that, with the bad exchange rate that is now the reality, even 1000 baht is over $30.

Not only is sex cheaper in Jakarta but so is food, lodging and transportation. I pay like 10 k to 15 k for my gojek rides. A complete dinner with ayam goreng, nasi putih, and Tempe Goreng costs me like 25 k from the street tents and my airbnb is like 120 k per day.

In Thailand a steak dinner at Patrick's will run you over $30 and in Jakarta the same quality steak dinner will cost you $8 at Jonisteak.

Venues like classic and travel are straight forward 365 k for the session no bullshit lady drinks to buy beforehand and if you do buy your girl a beer it's the same price as a regular beer you buy for yourself. Jakarta is straight up value and Pattaya is a tourist rip-off trying to milk every baht from your farang man boobs.

That being said, I do like the convenience of Thai Friendly. Having girls show up to your door at 4 am 20 minutes after first contact is quite impressive. Bareback sex is equally available in both locations. If you like fried pork belly there's more of that in Pattaya however I found a Chinese restaurant actually run by and catering to ethnic Chinese that serves pork belly here in Jakarta and it's actually near lokasari right across the street from hotel safari, alas it was overpriced compared to regular Indonesian food.

It's really going to come down to personal preference, if money is no concern then Pattaya may be better suited to him, but if he wants the most value then I'd go with Jakarta.

I like the area though. Lots of cheap food options and a little less busy than the mangga besar area, especially at night. On gojek it's about 10 k - 15 k to get to lokasari / mangga besar. I noticed tho that there is a metro station nearby called Sawah Besar and the next stop up is mangga besar so I may start trying to take the metro and learn how to ride it. It looks very similar to the metro in Medellin, Colombia which I have extensive experience with so I'm kinda curious to just buy a card and hop on the train and ride around Jakarta and see where it goes LOL.
